"what do you mean, 'yes'?" yongsun's brows frowned in confusion.

"yes, i still love you." byulyi sighed. she knew sooner or later she'd have to talk to yongsun about this, but seeing as the older woman was rebuilding her life in busan, byulyi didn't want to ruin it.

"i-- i don't get it. you said you fell out of love with me, byul."

"and you said you did too." byulyi shrugged, "but ever since you left for busan, it's like a part of me left too. it's like i lost my home. you were always running around in my mind even when i was on a date with seulgi. i-- i couldn't continue to date her feeling like this so we broke up a month after you left." 

yongsun had to take a deep breath. she sat back down on her chair and downed the cup of water that had been sitting in front of her for thirty minutes.

"so, what now? what am i supposed to do with this information?"

"i know i'm being selfish, but i really want to give us another try, yongsun. i really want a second chance with you. we can find ourselves again and rebuild what we had lost. it'll make solar happy too. if it doesn't work out this time, at least we can say we tried. please. i want you to trust me again."
