grocery shopping
get you the moon (drabbles)“Unnie, I told you it was a bad idea coming here together... Those people aren’t even doing their grocery shopping! They’re busy pretending they aren’t looking at us.” Byulyi pulled her mask higher, almost covering her eyes now.
People in the grocery store were busy taking pictures of the family of three instead of actually grocery shopping. Byulyi was starting to get anxious because of the amount of flashlight on their daughter Solar.
It’s still too early for Solar to be in the spotlight was what Byulyi had been saying these days. Their Instagram blew up ever since Yongsun shared a picture of Byulyi and Solar cuddling on the couch taking a nap.
“We can’t hide her forever, Byul. She’s going to be seen in public sooner or later. Besides, look at her! She’s busy posing for the cameras.” Yongsun pointed her finger at Solar, who was posing for the cameras and the little child seems like she already have fans of her own.
“I’m just saying we could wait until she’s a little older.” Byulyi rolled her eyes and waved at their fans before leading Solar away to one of the quieter aisles.
While walking, Solar picked up a box of fruitloops and tossed it into their cart. Byulyi noticed that and took out the box of cereal.
“Solar, did you forget what Mommy B told you? You can’t just toss everything you want in the cart.”
“But why does Mommy Y get to do it?” Solar pointed at the older woman who was picking up everything she wants and tossing it into their cart carelessly, much like what Solar had just done.
“Unnie, you’re setting a bad example for our daughter. You always buy things you want to eat but never actually eat it when we get home.”
Yongsun rolled her eyes, “Alright, why are you being so uptight?”
“I’m not uptight, I just want to set a good example for our daughter.”<
