get you the moon (drabbles)“You need to sit this one out, Byul. Moomoos will understand.” Yongsun brought Byulyi some painkillers to help with her arm.
“No, I am not sitting out on any performance. I’m fine, unnie. Didn’t we decide that I’ll use a hand mic so that we could minimise the movement in my arm? I’ll be careful.”
Yongsun sighed, “If you were careful you wouldn’t have pulled the muscle in your arm.”
“Don’t do that.”
“Do what?”
“Don’t blame me for things I cannot control, unnie. This could’ve happened to any one of us.” When Yongsun didn’t say anything, Byulyi spoke up again, “How long have you known me, unnie?”
Yongsun kept quiet, not because she didn’t know the answer but she didn’t find it relevant.
“How long, Kim Yongsun?”
“Years, okay?!”
“Then how well do you know me? Because if you know me well enough you would know I don’t like to sit out on any performances, even if I have a broken arm.”
Yongsun rolled her eyes and went to the corner of the waiting room. She had spent the last ten minutes trying to convince Byulyi to sit out on this performance. Their newest song has one of the most complex choreography and a lot of hand movements, it wouldn’t do any good for Byulyi to be putting so much stress on her strained arm.
Byulyi took a nap on the couch after taking some painkillers. She didn’t want to think about her angry girlfriend thirty minutes before their performance.
