The four of them had decided to go out and have a drink the night before. They’ve been working hard on their recent promotions and thought that maybe they could catch up with each other and reconnect over a few drinks.
And clearly, Yongsun shared too much of her thoughts and might have even confessed her feelings to Byulyi.
Yongsun opened her eyes only to close them again. Her head was pounding, like someone had run her over. “Yeah? It’s too bright, pup, close the blinds.”
“Byulyi unnie is waiting for you in the living room.”
Yongsun’s eyes opened, wide, bits and pieces of the night before flashed before her eyes.
I did not confess my feeling to Byul last night, I couldn’t have!
“Uh, I feel horrible, tell her I need more sleep.”
“You’ll have to face Byulyi unnie eventually, so c’mon, unnie.”
Yongsun groaned as Wheein dragged her out of the bed. The older woman tidied her messy bed hair while walking towards the living room.
Byulyi was biting her nails while waiting for Yongsun to emerge from the hallway. She had so many things she wanted to say to Yongsun but when she finally saw the older woman, her insides started doing somersaults and her mind turned blank.
When the two older women met eyes, Wheein motioned for Hyejin to stop eating her breakfast and make herself scarce so their unnies could have a talk.
