"You okay in there?" Sehun asked from the other side of the door.

No answer.

He knocks on the door panicking. "Is everything okay? If you don't open this door in a minute I'll break in. I mean it Yeonhee". 

A minute is too long for him. It feels like hours of waiting. Just when he's about to ram the door, Yeonhee unlocks the door and steps out. She has clenaed up herself, she looks fresh but pale. Very pale. Anyone can tell she's sick. Sehun hurried himself to aid her, helping her to her bed. 

"I'm worried you didn't answer when I knocked" he said softly.

"I'm sorry... I'm just too tired to respond" she replied with a very slow voice. 

He really can't stand seeing Yeonhee this way. "Okay that's it. We are going to the hospital. You are really sick Yeonhee"

But Yeonhee is being stubborn as usual. "I just need rest. I'll be fine"

"Yeonhee, you are burning and this is the third time you get sick in two weeks! I'm calling our doctor"

As Sehun is about to walk out and make a call, Yeonhee grabs his arm holding him still. Her grip is weak, Sehun can feel it. She's lying on the bed with herself tucked in, looking at Sehun with pleading eyes, "No.. please. Don't call a doctor. I'll be fine. It's the weather, nothing serious"

With a heavy heart, he finally gives in. "Fine... But if you're still sick tomorrow we'll go see a doctor straight away. Okay?"

Yeonhee nods slowly with a smile, "Okay". 

He sits on the side of her bed and looks at her tenderly. "We should have stayed home. Going there was a mistake. I hope we won't meet Aunt Helen anymore", he sighed heavily, "I'm sorry for what she said".

Yeonhee gives him a weak look but she tries her best to put up a happy face. She smiles, "It's okay".

"You didn't eat much. Do you want to eat anything? I can get it delivered" he asked. Sehun wanted to bring her to a famous Thai restaurant, but things didn't go the way he planned.

"I'm okay. I already had a sandwich at the store down the street. That's enough" she replied with a weak voice.

Looking at Yeonhee's pale face brings back the fear that he felt when she suddenly wasn't there behind him. "Don't do that again okay? Don't disappear just like that" he said.

"I thought you want me to go home by myself"

Sehun silently cursed himself hearing that reply from Yeonhee. He regrets the way he treated her before. How he could make her go back home on her own before this? He couldn't even understand himself. 'How can I be so cruel and heartless?'

"From now on, if you're with me, we'll go home together okay" he said.

She smiles, "Thank you. I don't think I can make it home if you weren't there".

Due to the exhaustion and pain, she closes her eyes. Sehun's hand slowly touch the tip of her hair and travels up further. His touch is so subtle Yeonhee isn't aware of it. Just when he's about to her hair, he stops as he comes to his senses. 'I should take everything slowly. Be patient'. He looks at Yeonhee lovingly "Now sleep. Get rest". 

Luckily the next day, Yeonhee is a lot better. Her temperature is back to normal but her face is still pale. 

Sehun told her to take a day off, to stay home until she's fit but nobody can win against a stubborn Yeonhee. She insisted on going to work.

So the whole day Sehun in his office, his mind kept on wondering whether Yeonhee is okay or not. He even accidentally called his secretary with his wife's name.

The hours of agony makes Sehun leaves work early. He goes straight to the gallery to check on Yeonhee, and also to bring her home.

As he arrives at the gallery, since it is so sudden and unannounced, it startles the director, Mr Lee.

"Why didn't you tell me you'll come visit?" the director asked a bit nervous. Of course he's startled and nervous. The sole owner of the gallery is here right before his eyes. What if he purposely come unannounced to check on his progress? 

"It's okay. I didn't come to visit. I came here to pick Yeonhee up. Is she okay today? I told her to take a day off" Sehun said immediately cutting the chase. 

He can't wait to see Yeonhee because he's really worried about her..... and he is actually missing her. 

"Why? Is there something wrong?" the director asked back.

"She fell sick last night. But she insisted going to work today"

"No wonder she seems off. I'll get her for you"

Sehun waits for them in the director's room. He is restless he keeps on tapping his feet.

About ten minutes later Yeonhee appears at the door with the director. "What are you doing here?" she asked in surprise. 

Sehun quickly stands up as he hears her voice. "To check up on you... And to bring you home"

"I am fine. See? A lot better than last night"

"Yes... But still pale like a ghost. Come on let's go home. I already talked to Mr Lee. You can go home early today"

"But..."

"No but. Come on". Sehun voice is full of authority. 

"But I need to.... " before she could give anymore excuses, Mr Lee quickly dismisses her. "It's okay Yeonhee. Go home and get rest" 

This time Sehun won over Yeonhee's stubbornness. 

Few days later, winter finally arrived. The first snow is expected to be seen in a few weeks. Since the incident that night at Aunt Helen's, Sehun cuts short his working hours an hour early because of a deal he made with Yeoenhee. Ever since he discovered how far Yeonhee walks everyday to the station and back home from work, he insisted on sending and picking her up.
