A week has passed...

Dara and her design team were already working at KHG headquarters. Their office was situated at the same floor as Jiyong’s office as he insisted that they will be working with him. Her office was separated from her team only by a glass wall. Jiyong offered to give her a separate office in the same floor but she rejected. She said she wants to be with her team so they can work together easily. Jiyong provided them everything they needed as it was agreed upon. All the things that Dara needs from LGC were also brought there.

Jaejoong was so much aware of what was happening and decided to visit the LGC team and welcome them personally. He knew Soo Hyun already but this would be the first time he will be meeting Dara. He only saw her in pictures from the internet.

Along the way to work, he decided to drop by a flower shop and pick a beautiful bouquet of flowers for her.

Upon reaching the LGC team’s office, he met Soo Hyun.

“Is that for me?” Joked the grinning Soo Hyun.

“No dummy, it’s for the LGC princess.” Jaejoong was fixing his suit and checked himself if he looked good.

Soo Hyun and Jaejoong were friends since their University days.

“She’s inside... Uhm, by the way, did you somehow send her flowers at LGC last week?” Soo Hyun was trying to catch his friend.

“No... Why?” Jaejoong looked at Soo Hyun.

“She received a room full of flowers last week. That was after the meeting here.”

“So... who was it from?”

“According to her Executive Assistant, there was no name. Only a message.”

Jaejoong was thinking.

“Anyway, come in!” Soo Hyun invited him to enter. “I’ll introduce you to her.”

As Jiyong was approaching his office, he saw Jaejoong and Soo Hyun talking at their office door. Jiyong’s brows knitted then immediately entered his office.

Soo Hyun introduced Jaejoong to Dara. The latter immediately offered a handshake and gave the flowers to her.

“Welcome to KHG.” Jaejoong was smiling. “I hope you’ll enjoy it here.”

“Thank you Mr. Kim.” Dara bowed to Jaejoong.

“Oh, no need for formalities. Just call me Jae. I’m not old you know.”

“Thank you again Jae.” Dara nodded.

“Just give me call when you need anything.”

“Jiyong already gave us everything we need. I think that would be enough.”

“Well, if anything, just call me.” Jae gave his card to Dara. “This is my number. I will come to you anytime.”

“Alright then. Thank you for the flowers Jae.”

It was a very busy day for the team. They worked really hard to finish the plans in time since they had a deadline to follow.

Four days had already passed since they started working at KHG. Everybody were always tired at the end of each day. It was very exhausting but Dara let them go home on time. She and Soo Hyun were the only ones left working till night. They were always too occupied with their jobs that sometimes, they forget what time it is.

In all of those days they were there, Jiyong never went to their office and checked on their work. That was eventhough his office is on the same floor.

Dara needed to talk to him once and asked his secretary for an appointment but he was always on a meeting outside or on a different hotel branch. She couldn’t get a hold of Jiyong for his decisions so she decided to do what was best for the designs. They had a deadline to finish before tha start of construction and she couldn’t afford any time wasted.

Dara and Minho had been going home late everyday. Soo Man couldn’t help but be worried about his children.

When his wife died years ago, he promised her that he would do his best to take care of them and be the best parent anybody could ever have.

Whenever both Dara and Minho comes home, they were already tired and had to go to sleep immediately. They don’t even eat dinner sometimes. Their home was about thirty minutes drive from LGC. Both of them drive their own car which was very convenient according to them but he was so worried that they would actually sleep while driving because of exhaustion. He suggested a driver for each of them but they refused. They chose to do it on their own.

Dara usually drives her red Range Rover while Minho his black MB.

It was already 8pm on Friday night and Dara was the only one left on her team. Soo Hyun had to go home immediately since it was his mother’s birthday. He invited Dara for dinner at his mother’s home but she turned it down politely and said that she would be glad to go with him next time as they were very busy. It was indeed a very stressful week for them.

Jiyong on the other hand had to go back to his office. He had to drop some things before going home to his apartment. He came from a business trip in Busan.

Before going inside his office, he noticed that the LGC team’s room is still open and lights were still on. He immediately dropped his things inside his office and closed it. He went to check the team’s room and saw Dara alone.

Dara’s head was slumped on her table in front of the computer, one arm as her pillow and the other arm still holding the mouse. Her screen was still on since she was running her designs when she fell asleep.

Jiyong went near her and saw that her eyes were closed. He couldn’t help but stare. Her sleeping face was illuminated by the light coming from the computer screen and she looked like an angel. Her face was glowing. She had very long lashes . Her lips were pink and slightly open. It was very tempting to kiss. He gave in to his urge so he leaned in and closed the gap. He first her lips lightly and gave her a peck on the side of her lips but he immediately brought his face away and stood straight. He was so nervous and could hear his heart beat so fast.

Dara strirred and woke up. She saw him standing beside her. She blinked twice. She shook her head and sat straight then looked up to Jiyong. “Oh hi! I’m sorry I fell asleep.”

“Hmm yeah, that’s okay. I was about to wake you up.” Jiyong was so relieved that Dara didn’t know that he kissed her.

‘. Am I a creep now?’ Jiyong said to himself. It was the first time he stole a kiss and he never expected to do it to anyone. Women always give what he wants even without him asking for it. He shook his head and smiled. ‘Damn this woman.’

“Do you need anything?” Dara asked him.

“I just saw that your office is still open so I came to check. I came from my office to drop off a few things.”

“Uhm, do you have time now Jiyong?”

“Uh, why?”

“I have to talk to you about the designs.”

“You want to talk about it now? It’s almost 9pm Dara. Have you had dinner yet?”

“Yes I want to talk now. I might not see you again for a long time so I’m taking this opportunity... And I’ll just have dinner at home.”

“Let’s have dinner at a restaurant now then we can talk about it there.”

“No need. We can do it here now.” Dara tried to be insistent. She didn’t want to lose this chance again. It was so hard to ask for his free time since he was always away the whole time they were working there.

“Okay then. Since you don’t want to have a dinner meeting at a restaurant then let’s just call for delivery. It’s past dinner time. Both of us need to eat.”

Dara just shrugged her shoulders.

“What do you want to eat?”

“Ramen.”

“Ramen, really? Don’t you want to eat something better than that?”

“Ramen and whatever you like.”

“I’ll order ramen for the both of us and spicy chicken too. Do you want anything more? Desserts?”

“No thanks.”

“Drinks?”

“Coke.”

“Two coke then for the both of us.”
