Transient Fireworks

Plot:

At the end of summer, Lee Hyeri together with her friend went on a trip to Japan to see the most awaited festival and the captivating fireworks of the event since it was always been her dream as a child. On the few days of staying in the place, she never expected to find what they call love, to another tourist who also from Korea named Kim Jongin, a man with a pretty smile, so breathtaking that her heart skips a beat every time she is with him. Good for Hyeri, everything goes on according to her wishes when she learned that the feeling was mutual. It was so lovely and fast, almost perfect like the dreams of romance, same on love stories she had read on the pocketbooks. That night of the festival during the main event, as if someone pulled them together, it happened, they kissed under the fireworks. It was so good, so magical that she doesn’t want everything to end.

 But as the saying goes, good times never last. After some days, they are expected to get back home, and sadly as it seems they have to part ways but Hyeri is hopeful that they would meet again and she's right! He transferred to the school where she attends and he is not alone, aside from his friend that they also get to know at the festival, a beautiful girl whose poised and elegant stands beside him with their hands clasped together, a painful sight and she never expected to be hurt this much.

The idea for making the title of this story originally came from the Japanese Song "Utakata Hanabi" which used to be Naruto's ending song and when translated to English, it means "Transient Firework"
 

It's a sentimental song about a girl reminiscing the times with her ex-lover as they watch the fireworks together during the Firework Festival. And now that she's alone, the memories make her sad that she cried. It was very heartbreaking. 😭
