My love is like a star.

My love is like a star.

So, here we have it - the last chapter of our beautiful story.

Honestly, I was so afraid that I won't be able to post all I wanted until my departure to vacations, but I made it in time.
I'm so much thankful for all of you - who subscribed, voted, commented and waited for updates. I'm very sorry if I didn't respond to your comments, but I indeed feel happy while reading it.

If you interested read my other stories and anticipate the new one about MoSaMiTzu.

Thank you once again.

The song I used in this chapter is My love is like a star by Demi Lovato.

The life in Chous’ house never was so lively as today. The couple celebrated their 10 years together and the closest people were now filling the living room – all chatting and catching up. Jihyo and Momo let their children play with XiaoWen in her room while adults all gathered here. Rather than the couple, the main source of discussion was the two twins that now proudly stood near Sana and Tzuyu. The two will graduate school this year and people around couldn’t help but say how they grew up. Once shy around strangers and naughty kids were now adults with the same modest smile that Tzuyu usually wore.

Mei dressed in long blue dress watched people there – they were all well known to her and she had great relationships with each of them, but every time she stood never Tzuyu she felt the need to show the power that the woman usually presented. She felt her heart proudly racing when Tzuyu was smiling at her or giving her the approval words. Not even Sana could have this effect on the girl. Over the last 7 years, Mei found herself being more and more interested in Tzuyu’s job. She was more than impressed every time Tzuyu worked – all those trips, files, meetings. Mei wanted to be the part of it too. Deep down she was telling herself that she doesn’t deserve even a small part of Chou Enterprise, but she really wanted to be there. She was slowly learning when Tzuyu allowed her to help in the office or when they all spent time in Taiwan and Elkie gave her the opportunity to deal with some of her own tasks. But the girl was still afraid to tell about her dream to Sana or Tzuyu. She just tried to show herself as the modest, elegant grown-up who can handle things, so that Tzuyu would see the best in her.

Jin stood with a smile while listened to the eldest Chous. He started to do martial arts five years ago and now was more than ready to join the police academy and study there. He liked the fact that everyone supported him, even the little XiaoWen. Tzuyu and Sana believed in him from the start and were very proud to tell others that the boy would help to keep the peaceful atmosphere in the country, though they knew that it might be dangerous, still couldn’t forbid Jin to follow his dreams. He became very nice and handsome, growing taller than Tzuyu and being able to tease his twin sister now. Their connection was still as strong as ever – he knew everything about her and couldn’t help but say how overthinking she might be sometimes.

The little XiaoWen was the perfect representation of both of her parents. She just started school this year and already was doing great. Her grandparents were very proud of her for learning Chinese as well and the first four years she became the center of all the attention. Somehow it didn’t irritate the twins – Sana still loved them dearly and Tzuyu was giving them as much love and support as she had.

The next toast was said and Tzuyu checked on the two children with the corner of her eyes. She knew that they drank the alcohol before – the bottle of wine that was gifted to her couldn’t disappear in the air, but she still preferred them to avoid drinking until they would be completely out of school. She felt Sana leaning on her more and more, probably getting tired of her high heels. Tzuyu supported her with the arms, placing the wine glass on the table.

Sana almost purred getting too comfortable in the embrace of the person she loved. Just imagining that more than 10 years ago she felt like no one would ever love her back and she would always live in the daily circle of struggles was impossible. She was thankful Tzuyu for everything – the fact that she brought peace to their family, love and support to each one of them, gave their children everything Sana would never be able to. More important she shared the piece of her heart with Sana, trusting everything she had to the blonde one.

 ***

The night was coming and the guests were slowly getting home. Tzuyu’s parents were happily driving away with Sana’s and Jin went to help them pack up things in the guest room. Tzuyu sent Sana to place XiaoWen in bed as she was washing dishes together with Mei.

“Have you thought about university?” The woman asked.
“Yes, I have few in mind. I just still not sure what I want to do.”

Mei dried the plate, occasionally watching Tzuyu and getting more nervous. Her friends were pushing her to tell everything about her interest in the business sphere, but she just couldn’t help but think that XiaoWen is already chosen to inherit it.

“Don’t worry, you can always change the majorities.”

As always the woman tried to reassure that there was no point in panicking over this. She knew Mei’s results in school and was pretty confident about the girl getting anywhere she wanted without a problem.

When everything was cleaned and Jin went down in comfortable clothes, Tzuyu wished them goodnight and hurried to change as well. The boy flopped on the couch, staring at spaced out sister.

 “Hey, you’re fine?”

She jerked and nodded, covering face with her hands to rub it in frustration.

“You know, just tell her. It’s not like Tzuyu would be mad at you.”
“But she might think that I’m disrespectful. Like I’m not even her child.”
“You know, that it’s not like that. We are her children as well, no matter what. And you do understand that if you say her the truth, Tzuyu would always find the solution.”

The girl groaned. Her annoying brother was right as always. He stood up and wished her goodnight as well, saying that he must wake up early. Mei turned the lights off and went straight to master bedroom. She knocked to get permission and after Tzuyu opened the door, dressed in pink pyjama with bunnies that Nayeon gifted them all, she awkwardly stared down.

“About the university.” She paused. “Can we talk?”
 “Certainly.”

She went in. The water in the shower was running, indicating that Sana was there. The small armchair where Tzuyu usually waited for her wife to get ready was occupied by the girl as Tzuyu pulled the chair from the make-up table near.

“So, I actually have something I’m very interested in. But I don’t think it’s the right choice.”
 “What is it?”
“It is connected with your field of work?”

Tzuyu frowned, thinking. It was made out of habit, but Mei all tensed up, assuming that she was right.

 “You mean electronic and…”
 “No, I mean business.”

She stopped, watching the woman’s reaction and then carefully continued.

“I want to be like you.”

Mei was holding her breath as Tzuyu looked at her. But instead of everything the girl thought about, the brunette only grinned.

“Elkie told me how hard you were trying. Your mother was worried at first. She thought you trying to make extra money for something.”
“No, I’m thankful for everything you giving me. I just wanted to show you that I’m capable to work the same way you do.”

All the worries, horrible thoughts were disappearing when Tzuyu smiled at her that way. Mei felt her heart getting warmer inside.

“So, you’ll be studying business then?”
“Yes. If you want I’d try to find an internship in some company.”
“Why? I will employ you when you start your courses.”
“But I think it will be…”
“Why going somewhere if you have your own company to train in?”

 Mei looked up in shock.

“My own? I thought you would give it to XiaoWen.”
“Mei, I know you. And I know you’re serious right now. If you are really interested, then go on. I will be helping you on your every step to the top. XiaoWen is still young and she’s still on her way to find her own path.”
 “But… I… I’m not…”
“Mei, everything I have is yours as well. You just need to ask.”
 “Thank you, Tzuyu.”

The girl jumped up, hugging the woman and feeling the weight falling off her shoulders. Tzuyu playfully messed up her hair to cheer the girl.

“I’ll have a meeting with partners next month. Come with me, I’ll introduce you to them.”

 ***

Sana went out of shower already with dry hair and ready to fall on the bed the same second. She got startled a little by the sight of Tzuyu laughing together with Mei. She smiled at them, skipping to her make-up table and doing her night skin routine. She just caught Tzuyu saying something about work before Mei wished them goodnight and went to her room.

Tzuyu immediately found her place behind the blonde one. Her arms creped to the woman’s waist and she rested the chin on the one shoulder, kissing neck tenderly. Sana watched her in the mirror, asking herself one more time how could she be so lucky to have Tzuyu by her side.

“I’m so lucky to have you.” Tzuyu whispered.

The blonde grinned, tapping on her face and turning around to face her lover. Her arms automatically went up and circled Tzuyu’s neck. She stared in the brunette’s soft eyes, feeling like her body was melting.

“I was thinking the same thing.”

Tzuyu pecked her and Sana happily rested head on the woman’s shoulder. They started to swing from side to side.

“My love like a star, yeah
   You can’t always see me
But you know that I’m always there
   When you see one shining
   Take it as mine
   And remember I’m always near.

Sana closed eyes, enjoying Tzuyu voice. They danced hundreds of time – on dinners, events and so on, but standing in the dim light of their own bedroom, when their beloved ones were safe and happy, in their embarrassingly funny pyjamas – nothing could be better than this moment.

 “If you see a comet
   Baby, I’m on it
   Making my way back home
   Just follow the glow, yeah
   It won’t be long
Just know that you’re not alone.

It suddenly came to her mind where she could have heard this song. The same exact song they danced to for the first time. With Tzuyu’s hilarious make-up and Jeongyeon patiently waiting in her costume. The same moment their hearts were beating at one rate.

“My love for you is like a star. It won’t fade away in the next million years.”

Chapter 26: i really love this story. it's my first time loving both satzu as a character in their story. i can say that this satzu here is my favorite since they just act like a "real person", more matured, and know how to "normally" deal with their problem through the story. i think this is the most healthy satzu character that i ever read. thank you very much for the beautiful work author-nim
