Problems
CEO MoonThe work for Solar’s singer and new album was on the way. Byul has allocated an entire floor of the building for Yongsun and her staff. It was one of the things the two CEOs compromised on. Yongsun would have total control over her departments except for the marketing department to be managed by Byul. However, Yongsun and her staff must do so inside the Moon Corporation. It was a lot of work to bring in the documents and other effects. But only after a few days, they immediately realized that this was better. They need not call or travel to and from one company to another.
Yongsun would usually do her work in Byul’s office, as they needed to communicate to each other a lot. It was convenient. It also made getting to know each other easier. They could observe and see how each other act in time of stress and adversity. All the while, they don’t forget to spend time together after work.
Since they also have the same goal, the first week of working together was heaven. They agreed on almost everything. However, they did not expect to find such adversity from each other. There has been a problem in the implementation of strategies. The one thing good about the both was that they don’t blame each other for the problem. The thing that is causing the rift between them is that they have different solutions for the same problem.
“This is the best solution, Byul!” Yongsun raises her voice at Byul. “It’s perfect. It has no faults.”
“That’s where you’re wrong, unnie!” Byul raises her voice as well. “There is no such thing as a faultless solution. Everything has its advantages and disadvantages.”
“And if you just do this, you won’t have to worry about disadvantages.” Solar groans in frustration. She is a perfectionist. She knows her solution would solve the problem and not cause any more.
“And I’m telling you that it has. Unnie, there would be negative effects if we go through with your proposal. With mine, you could avoid the worst issue and divert their attention to a miniscule one we can handle.” Byul growls as she pinches the bridge of her nose.
That growl made Yongsun feel things – things that are inappropriate to feel at the time and circumstances. Yongsun thinks it would be best if she and Byul have a bit of time apart to think of which one they should go with. She gathers her things and walks towards the door.
Byul looks at Yongsun about to leave and asks, “Where are you going?”
Yongsun turns around and looks at her. “I’m going down to my office. Let’s take some time to think of any other possible solutions that we both could actually work with. Call me when you think of something. I’ll go back here after consulting with my team.”
Yongsun opens the door and walks out of Byul’s office. Byul slumps on to her chair and closes her eyes for a few minutes. She hears her door click and pushed open. She thinks that Yongsun has thought of another way too quickly. She doesn’t open her eyes, however, as she was still trying to calm down.
“You came back quickly, unnie. What do you have for me?” Byul asks the person who entered her office thinking it was Yongsun.
“We’re the same age, Byul.” Someone with a womanly voice says. “But I have some food for you.”
Byul recognizes the voice and she qu
