"Mommy, I don't feel so good" Chaeyoung said before going to sleep

"You're running a small fever. It's nothing big Chaengie, I'll tell Jihyo unnie you're not going to school tomorrow" Mina said, snuggling Chaeyoung closer.

"Nu~ I wanna go to school" Chaeyoung whined

"You're sick Chaengie, be a good girl and listen to Mommy" Mina cooed

"Okay.... Nightys Mommy" Chaeyoung said before dozing off

Chaeyoung had been super tired these past few days and has been napping a lot lately. Jihyo and Nayeon has pointed out that she's been pretty lethargic in school and is extremely low energy. Mina didn't really think very much of it and just thought Chaeyoung was sleep deprived and tired so it didn't worry her that much. She dropped Jihyo a text before going to sleep.

To Jihyo:
Chaeyoung won't be coming to school tomorrow, she's sick

From Jihyo:

Mina woke up early. Usually she would help Chaeyoung get ready for school, but since Chaeyoung didn't have school today, she used the extra time to help cook breakfast and prepare medicine for Chaeyoung. She wasn't sure if Chaeyoung was going to take them, but she trusted Chaeyoung to listen to her. By the time she was done, it was already time for her afternoon classes so she took off. She went up to see Chaeyoung still asleep. Mina thought she was a little pale but thought it was because she was sick. She kissed Chaeyoung on the forehead before going off to school.

While at school, Mina couldn't really concentrate. As much as she tried to concentrate on the lesson or on her dancing, her mind would always drift to her sick ward back home. It wasn't really bad at first, but she soon grew anxious about what could possibly happen to Chaeyoung. By the end of the day, Mina was an anxious mess, fearing the worst for her ward. As soon as all her lessons ended, she rushed out and ran home. On the way, she saw Sana and Momo

"Hey Mina, what's the rush?" Momo asked, when she noticed how distressed Mina looked

"I-I can't talk now, i have to go. Tomorrow okay?" Mina said before running off

Momo and Sana exchanged concerned looks to each other, they've never seen Mina like this before. They have noticed Mina has been rushing home straight after school more than usual insted of hanging out with them and they've been growing concerned. Maybe something has happened at home. Momo and Sana decided in that moment that they would pay a visit to Mina soon.

On the bus, Mina was shaking her legs quickly, almost vibrating, and biting her nails. She was so nervous that something couldn've happened to Chaeyoung. Her nervousness grew when she called home and nobody picked up. SHe was so anxious she was sweating in the air conditioned bus and people were staring at her.
