“What are you doing?” Jinyoung asked Mark when he saw his lover lying on the king-size bed of their luxurious hotel-room they had booked for their little trip in Jeju-do. They had already been on the island for four days and it was magical. They were really enjoying their time together and were glad a lot of people weren't recognizing Jinyoung so that they could be totally be free and do whatever they wanted. They were sightseeing the very famous spots and were spending their afternoons at the beach under the warm sun of May. At night however, they were going to local restaurants to eat Jeju-do delicious and typical food and they were then going back to the hotel to rest a bit (they were a couple of old men after all, they didn't have the stamina of twenty-year-old boys).

“I'm on Instagram,” Mark answered.

“The picture app?”

“Hum”, Mark nodded and welcomed Jinyoung into his arms when the younger one slid into the bed to snuggle close to him.

Jinyoung lay with his head resting of Mark's bare chest and he carefully watched what he was doing on the famous app he had heard a lot about but had never really paid attention. Mark had uploaded a lot of pictures of their trip, whether it was the clear horizon, the blue sea or even the mouth-watering food they had eaten so far, and according to his sayings a lot of people had liked his pictures and they were also commenting though Mark was only answering to his family's comments.

“So that is the point of this app? You share pictures with the whole world and that's it?”

“Pretty much it, yes.”

“So it's kind of pointless.”

“For people who like photography it's good I guess, and also it's great when you want to check what your friends are doing with their lives. Do you know Jaeha has an account?”

At the mention of his daughter's name, Jinyoung suddenly sat up and looked at Mark with wide open eyes.

“Really?”

“Hum, I follow her and she follows me back.”

“Let me see! I want to see too!”

Mark chuckled and quickly looked for Jaeha's insta profile to show it to her father. When he finally found it and handed Jinyoung his phone, the younger one seized it and intensely stared at the screen.

“I had no idea she was into this kind of things...” he mumbled to himself but loudly enough for Mark to hear.

“She often posts pictures.”

“ImJaenius, is that her user-name? God it's so lame,” he chuckled, “but she looks really cute on her profile picture. Can we zoom more though?”

“We can't.”

“So useless...”

He scrolled down a bit more to see she hadn't given a lot of information about her. Except from the “Im Jaeha, 20 yo, student” and the Korean flag next to it there was nothing more and somehow he found it reassuring to see his daughter wasn't exposing herself too much to the media or on the internet which he knew was quite a mean and could easily ruin someone life. Jaeha had already suffered from the exposure and he didn't want it to carry on now that she was an adult.

Scrolling through her pictures, he remarked she wasn't really showing her face a lot either but was posting sights from Seoul especially at night or at dawn or she was also showing new items she was getting; for instance her last picture had been posted a few days ago and it was brand new pair of red shoes he guessed she had recently acquired and from the words written under the picture, he knew it was a present from Jackson.

“She is quite famous, you know?” Mark told him, “she has a lot of people following her.”

“And is this a good or bad thing?”

Mark shrugged, not knowing what to answer, but he told Jinyoung that since Jaeha was never posting horrendous or appalling things, it didn't really matter and so it couldn't be a bad thing. Jinyoung was about to answer that he still didn't really like since there were a lot of wicked people outside, when he suddenly saw a picture which left him speechless and which drew a small sad smile on his face. Indeed, on the left part of the picture, he easily recognized a picture of young Jaebum holding his daughter for the first time ever when she was only a few hours at the hospital back on the day of her birth. The picture wasn't from the best quality ever but Jaebum's grin was blinding and the lovesick look in his eyes was truly showing to everyone looking how much he was happy and proud at that moment and sincerely, Jinyoung couldn't help but remembering how much Jaebum had cried the day Jaeha was born and a lot of good memories instantly came back into flashes to his mind. On the right part of the picture however, he easily recognized his younger self lying on a bed with a few-day-old Jaeha curled against himself. The young father was looking at his sleeping baby with a big smile and watchful eyes and his expression was highly similar to the one Jaebum had on the picture juxtaposed next to his. Anyone looking at the picture could see and feel the love both fathers were giving to their daughter and it reminded him of how much Jaebum and himself were delightful the day their precious little baby had entered their life.

Under this particular picture, Jaeha had added “Nineteen already” and he guessed she had posted it the day of her birthday last year.

“My baby is twenty already,” he sighed loudly, “where was I during all these years? I haven't seen her growing up.”

“She'll always be your baby nevertheless,” Mark answered.

“Y-yeah,” Jinyoung smiled and nodded as he tried hard not to let a few tears popped at the corner of his eyes, “she'll always be.”

He gave Mark his phone back and lay next to him again, hugging him tightly as they shared one last goodnight kiss before Jinyoung closed his eyes and tried to fall asleep. However, he kept rolling on the bed, tugging the cover with him which annoyed Mark who mumbled incoherent things in his sleep and Jinyoung even ended up having a shower at three am to keep his busy mind so that he could finally be able to fall asleep. When his eyes fluttered open a few hours later, when the sun was barely shinning in the sky and there were still a few sparkling white stars, the first thing he did was to grab his phone and to download the Instagram app and to create himself an account. He struggled a lot to find a valid user-name and understood why Jaeha's sounded ridiculous, probably because she had spent hours looking for something original, and in the end he came up with “Parkjnyg” and before he even wrote something in the description box, he followed Jaeha and then sent her a text message to tell her it was his account and that she didn't have to worry being a fake or a spam. Surprisingly, her answer came to him after only a few minutes.

To: Jaeha

A few minutes. Mark showed me your account and I wanted to follow you too.

From: Jaeha

alrght

To: Jaeha

Why are you up already?

From: Jaeha

it's friday im goin to school but I don't want to, ps I had fun with Youngjae yesterday at the forum

To: Jaeha

Great have a good day. I love you.

He stared at his last text and smiled, hopping her answer would come but it never did. However his slight disappointed moment ended up the moment Mark woke up and wrapped him up into his muscular arms and held him tightly against his torso.

“Mornin',” Mark mumbled with his hoarse morning voice.

“Good morning to you too.”

“Why are you already up? Aren't we supposed to rest a lot?”

“I didn't sleep well that night,” Jinyoung admitted.

“Why?”

“I had things on my mind.”

“Things involving a twenty-year-old girl named Im Jaeha I presume?” Mark chuckled and when Jinyoung simply rolled his eyes, he knew he was right.

Jinyoung's phone buzzed and he quickly opened the text message he had just received.

From: Jaeha

Love u too gotta go tho have a good day

“Should we go back to sleep?” Mark asked.

“Yeah, let's sleep again,” Jinyoung answered with a big grin but sleepy eyes.

“So that's happiness?” Jinyoung thought as he was loved into his Mark's arms and was drifting back to sleep, “a simple text message from my daughter telling me she loves me and being with the one I love and being able to share moments and memories with him? Well, happiness is for sure one of the best feelings ever,” he concluded and fell asleep a few minutes later.

(Three days later, when Mark and him were back to their house and he was reading the script of the movie is was going to act in in the upcoming months, he received a notification from Instagram and since he didn't know what he was, he opened it and clicked on different complicated things which lead him to Jaeha's profile and he was surprised to see his girl had uploaded her profile by posting another picture, but the most surprising thing was that it was picture of her younger self, when she was about four years old, at one of his movie press conference with him holding her into his arms. While Jaeha was happily waving at all the reporters, Jinyoung was only looking at her with stars in his eyes and a goofy smiled plastered on his face. And when he read the caption under it he couldn't help but laughed, which caught Mark's attention who wondered what was going on for him to suddenly laugh alone.

He posted a comment hoping she would see it and it wouldn't get lost among the hundreds of other comments unknown people were posting.

I've been wanting to update this story earlier but i didn't have time. Hello! How are you all doing?

Nineteeth chapter: Jinyoung discovering Instagram and particulary Jaeha's account. It's a very simple chapter, just a little and kind of fluffy little Marjin moment. 

And the next chapter will be a flashback of JJproject and younger Jaeha :)
