Eun-ah ran through the corridors, covering , the gas hadn’t reached those corners quite yet if she was lucky enough she could find a short cut to Kyungsoo’s cell-

She saw him.

Standing there, no handcuffs, no guards, and wearing a gas mask.

‘No’ she retorted mentally, Kyungsoo couldn’t possibly have pulled this off. It made no sense. Why would he?

The figure walked up to her, with slow cautious steps, watching her as her eyes moistened.

Slowly he took his mask off; revealing the face Eun-ah had somehow grown to adore so much. He was still dainty as ever, his long dark hair falling on his forehead, his big doe eyes scanning every inch of her, but something was missing.

The smirk, of course. Kyungsoo wore a serious expression, but he was still unreadable.

“Why would you- “

“It’s none of your concern,” he snapped back instantly.

Eun-ah’s tears were much more prominent by now, her eyes slightly red. She bit her lip, and then looked away.

Loving him was delusional after all.

Her wisdom was consumed by attraction, how silly of her.

Kyungsoo stretched out his arm to wipe her tears as he leaned forward.

“I’ll see you again,” he muttered softly.  She opened to speak but he beat her to it.
