Ready for it?Jin had quickly, well as quickly as he could, served the two males their dumplings. He went back to the counter to get his cups that Yungha had left out for him. He wished his mother would stop putting them out of his reach. They helped keep focused without being a distraction to other people. They were defenitely better than his tongue pressers.
"Oh, these are really good." Yoongi said around a mouthful of dumpling. Namjoon snorted. He never expected that out of the older. He didnt like many foods and wa very picky when it came to what he ate. It was refreshing to hear. Namjoon opened his mouth to say something, but was interupted when a sound reached his ears. He looked up from the table to find the source of the sound. It was coming from behind the counter. It was Jin. What was he doing? "What's wrong with him? I bet he's watching some y video." Namjoon almost spit out his rice.
"Hyung, don't say things like that out loud." He looked over at the older. Yoongi shrugged.
"Well, he might be. We don't know." Namjoon rolled his eyes. The things Yoongi said never really surprised him.
"Jin, I'm back." A new voice entered the shop. A small older woman walked in through the front door. A groan was the given response. Namjoon watched the woman as she walked around the counter to stand next Jin. "What are you doing? Did Yungha go on a delivery?" Jin didn't answer but lifted a small plastic cup and handed it to the woman. She took it from him with a smile. "Oh, I see. You've been really busy haven't you?" He nodded slowly, picking up another cup. "Alright. I have to go see Mr. Woo. You'll be fine, right." Jin moved away from the woman. She laughed, setting down the cup. "Okay, I'll be back." She gave Jin a quick kiss and ran back out the door. Namjoon narrowed his eyes in thought. Jin didn't say one word to the woman, but she had a conversation with him anyway. What did that mean?
"Don't think too much about it Namjoon. Mother's just know." The younger looked over at Yoongi.
"How did..." The older shook his head, looking up at Namjoon.
"Giving a tiny kiss like that. she's his mother. He didn't have to say anything for her to talk to him. That's just how mothers are." The younger nodded. He still didn't understand though.
"But he hasn't said a word since we got here. He just makes sounds. What does that mean?" Yoongi shrugged.
"Who knows. Maybe he just can't talk. Look, I don't have time to discuss this guy with you. I have to go meet Sana. Here." Yoongi placed some money on the table. "That's the rest of what I have on me. Thanks for the meal. I'll see you tomorrow." Namjoon sighed, watching the older leave the shop.
"Yeah, I'll see you tomorrow."
