Part I. (Ailee's Pov)

Our performance ended, i was shocked but remained calm as i could. That was not meant to be done. It's not part of our performance.

After the light went off, i immediately walked out of the stage not even saying anything. I was stopped by him holding my arms. He pulled me to the dark corner where no one might see us.

"Ailee.. I'm sorry. I know it's wrong but i can't help myself. I like you."

"Aish. It's still not a good reason to do that Ji hoon. Even if it's for the audience no exemption specially without even my permission! What you did is taking advantage on the situation!"

I was mad! Of course he kissed me! The performance should've ended with our face close to each other but he kissed me, in front of the camera that will air nationwide!

"I'm so sorry.. I really really like you. Please forgive me and i will prove to you my feelings. Give me a chance Ailee."

"I'm sorry Ji hoon, i can forgive you but we can't be more than friends."

I know it's one of the most painful thing to hear but he needs to know the truth as early as now. He tried asking my permission for him to court me many times. I keep on telling him no but he was persistent.

"Why? Am i not worth to like back? Am i hard to fall in love with?"

"No. It's not that. You're a good person Ji hoon but we can't just be more than whatbwe are."

"You like someone else?"

He asked pain on his voice. I didn't replied. I don't know how to answer that.

"I understand then. Let me ask you one thing then."

I looked at him waiting for his question. Nervous that he'll ask who.

"Are you happy?"

I froze. Surprised that out of all the question he might ask, he choose what might hurt him. He's really a good person. Maybe if i'm not in love with someone else i might consider him. I smiled.

"Very.."

He bitterly smiled.

"Then i'll stop bothering you. If you're happy then i'll be happy for you. J-just don't forget that i'm always here. Always."

He said and turned around.

"Ji hoon.."

He turned to face me again. Sadness written on his face but still he smiled at me. I walked towards him and hugged him.

"Thank you so much."
