"I haven't had such a big dining room full of people in such a long time!" uncle Junki said smiling happily. "Eat as much as you want!" he said and padded Moons shoulder while placing bread on the table. 
Moon was sitting next to Sky. How embarassing, she almost read his lyrics. Though he needed to admit that the inspiration for the song came after his first night at the beach with her.

He knew she struggled. He knew there was something she wanted to say. If he could only raise her voice. If he could only speak up for her. 
"Moon?" he suddenly heared a voice. He shook his head and suddenly realized he was staring at Sky the whole time. 
While uncle Junki was eating and talking to Aimee and Auntie Mina, James was staring at him chewing on his bread, shaking his head.  Sky was staring outside the window. Did she even eat anything?
"Aren't you hungry?" Moon asked. Sky turned around. Since he was sitting next to her, her face was close to his. He saw a little mole on the side of her cheek and her eyes looked like the colour of the ocean. She shook her head slightly and smiled. 
"But you need to go to work, Sky. You need the energy." james said and put a loaf of bread on her plate. He smiled at her wholeheartedly.

Moon knew something was going through her mind. Seemed like she felt burdened with something. 

After eating a tiny piece of bread with a little bit of fresh honey on it, Sky stood up and said something in sign language. Both, James and Moon were staring at Aimee for a second.
"OH! I'm sorry I'm not used to people who don't understand Sky. She just said thank you for the meal and that she's leaving for work now." 
James stood up fastly. "I'll get you there." he said. "Since you're bike is still at the restaurant right?" 
Sky shook her head in panic. 
"It's a long way till the restaurant my dear. Let him drive you." Uncle Junkie said and smiled. 
Sky nodded shyly and left the room with James. 

"I'll help you clean the kitchen!" Moon said. After cleaning the table,Aimee and Moon both were washing the dishes, since Uncle Junkie didn't have a dish washer in his house.
"You know, uncle Junkie is really traditional when it comes to things like this." She whispered while washing the soap off of a glas giggling, handing it to Moon for drying it. 
"Aimee, can I ask you something?" he said while placing the glass onto the shelf. 
"You've known Sky for a long time. How.. is she like? Isn't it hard to get to know her when she is ... you know ... "
"Mute? Oh actually not. When I was small I found her pretty weird because she couldn't talk. As a child I didn't really understand. She was doing stuff with her hands all the time and I was never understanding her. One day I yelled at her 'why don't you just talk to me?!' she cried really hard and I felt so bad. So with her, I learned the language. I never really had a teacher to be honest. I just kinda got everything from her. I wrote down which movement had which meaning and that's how I got to understand her." 
Moon was impressed. It must have been a hard time for both of them.
"But answering your question, it is hard to figure her out. Even I sometimes feel like I don't know her since she doesn't express her feelings too often. I do talk to her sometimes, but it's mostly me talking then her talking in sign language. Sometimes I try to make her talk more, but she always only says 'I am fine' to me." 
Moon was thinking about the incident yesterday night. Should he tell her? He knew he shouldn't since he promised Sky not to. But Aimee was her best friend. Maybe she knew? 
"I wish I could help her somehow." Moon said silently. 
"That's everyone's reaction to her disease. It gives you a hard time and that's what's bothering her the most when she meets new people. She doesn't want to be a burden, but no one can deny that she is and she will always be. Sometimes I am really scared to leave her come home alone from work at night. She can't scream if someone attacks her.. " 
Moon could hear the worried undertone in her voice. 
"I bet. " he said while putting the last glas and plate onto it's place. 
"Good job to both of us!" she said and smiled high fiving him.
