I Can Feel You
Without A Word
As sky lay in her bed, she couldn't stop thinking about what happened today. Moon singing for her, Shane hitting Moon, the hospital. The kiss.
All the thoughts made it impossible for her to sleep. She missed Moons presence by her side.
Was it childish to keep thinking about him? She didn't even know.
Was he thinking about her how she was thinking about him?
Was it okay to feel like this in such a short amount of time?
Sky tried to change her sleeping position but nothing helped. It was a humid night. The heat made it impossible to sleep. Since her room was the only one left without any air conditinor.
Sky couldn't help but sleep in her underwear, which still didn't help at all.
She threw her blanket off her bed in anger. She was so tired.
She couldn't sleep.
She missed Moon.
After an hour of not being able to sleep she decided to leave her room, putting on a top and some shorts. She closed her room behind her as she was walking towards Moons room, standing in front of it not knowing if she should knock or not. Was he asleep already? Though she heared some noise coming out of his room. Without noticing, her finger hit his door automatically. She started to panic wanting to walk away.
Did she really just do this?
She saw the door handle slowly going down. She could feel her heart pounding fast. In slow motion she could see Moons face appearing. Seemed like the swelling of his eye went down.
"Sky?"
She shrugged as she heared him say her name. What was she supposed to tell him now standing at his door at an hour like this?
He was staring at her, expecting her to say something.
She pointed at his wound.
"You can't tell me that's the reason you come to my door at an hour like this." He said while smirking
Sky shrugged at his sudden ambiguity. She could feel her blood rushing into her head.
"Do you want to... come in?" He asked as he was looking into her yes questiongly raising his eyebrows.
Sky only noticed now that he was only wearing a tank top. This seemed so wrong asking her to enter his room at an hour like this. Where was this heading to? Was it a good idea? If so, was she even...ready?
For a few seconds Sky stared into his eyes. She shook her head and pointed towards her room, trying to say she's going back.
As she already turned her back on him making a few steps away she heared him say: "You're eyes tell me otherwise."
She turned around to see him standing in the doorframe leaning against it while his hands were in his pockets.
Was he flirting with her?
Sky looked at him shaking her head again.
Moon started laughing silently.
"Come in already." As he was entering his room, leaving his door open. He was playing with her.
Sky hesitated for a moment until she slowly made her way into the guest room. It smelled like his scent.
She closed the door behind her, slowly turning around.
His laptop was standing on the desk with a pair of headphones, next to it his guitar and some scribbles on a notebook. He was leaning against the wall next to the window looking at her.
"You can't sleep either huh?" He said while looking on the floor. Why did he become so shy all of a sudden?
Sky nodded as she stood in the room, awkwardly.
"You know you can sit
