Lending you my voice
Without A Word
"You don't even know where to go." Aimee said while staring at James.
"I got this ok." James said as he was looking around in confusion trying to search for a parking lot.
Moon saw people passing their car. The park looked filled, but not too much.
"There! There! There!" Aimee yelled as she found a parking lot.
"Finally." Moon sighed.
"Hey, you weren't any big help either Moonchul." James said.
As they left the car, Moon could still feel the heat left over from the day hitting his skin.
He was wearing a black leather jacket over a white shirt.
Sky was wearing her airy summer dress. Was it really a good idea? Though, she didn't seem like she wanted to rest.
The atmosphere was quite calm, though many people were visiting the stands that were built up to give out food. He could smell the food in the air.
"The atmosphere is amazing, right?" Aimee said as she passed Moon, walking fastly. He nodded, following her and James who were taking over the lead.
"Why did I eat so much apple pie. The food looks so good." James moaned.
"I told you, you ate way too much." Aimee laughed as James was trying to chase after her while running away.
Moon could see the stands themed after the firefly event. He also saw the little stage that was built up near the fountain.
The water was sparkling as the light of the streetlamps was reflecting on it.
"Imagine playing here live." James yelled towards Moon. They were walking so fast, they already built up a big distance between them.
Moon smiled and nodded. Sky was walking next to him, silently. He could hear her footsteps. The only sound she could make.
"Are you ok?" He asked while moving closer to her. Her arm was hitting his while walking. Why did he enjoy her presence so much.
She nodded as she was looking around the park. Was she searching for someone?
"It's a really beautiful town you're living in." Moon said as he was putting his hands into his pockets, looking down at her face. Only now he noticed that she was a head smaller than him.
Sky nodded.
Moon sighed in despair. He couldn't even smalltalk with her. He felt bad. It didn't bother him at all but he knew it bothered her. All she could do was shake her head or nod.
But suddenly, Sky handed him a note.
He looked at her in cofusion. Where did that come from? But he smiled. "You took your notebook with you?"
Sky nodded proudly pointing on the note for him to open it.
He opened the note.
"Let's enjoy this night and forget about everything." he read out loud, looking back at her smiley face.
Suddenly he felt her hand in his. She took his hand as she was pulling him with her, running towards James and Aimee.
As they were running, Moon could literally feel it happening in slow motion. All he saw was her long brown hair waving and her hand in his.
"Guys! HERE!" They heared Aimee yell. Moon searched for where the voice came from as they stopped running. He saw Aimee sitting on a beach seat while James was standing next to her waving
