Chapter 7

CLOSER [HIATUS]

It was the next day, Friday, and Won Woo was seated by himself on the living room couch. Soo Min was still locked up in her room since last night and all those guilty feelings rushed back to him when he stared at the chocolate he bought for her sitting on the coffee table. He hadn’t been able to apologize to her yet.

“Aish, I’m such a stupid jerk.” He sighed, falling onto his side with his legs and arms dangling off the couch. He was starting to dislike this feeling of being ignored by Soo Min. He now knew how she must have felt the earlier in the month when he ignored her. He really wasn’t used to this feeling because she never got mad at him before, it was hard to piss her off actually, this would sort of be the first time!

After an hour of sulking on the couch passed, he decided maybe he should go out instead of lie there thinking about how much of a jerk he was to his best friend with crushing her ship and bringing up her relationship with Jeonghan and pointing out ‘what if Jihan was real?’ Obviously pointing towards… if Jeonghan liked Jisoo more, he’d leave Soo Min. Of course that wasn’t going to happen, but to make her think about it was not nice at all.

Once he was out of his shared apartment, he stood at the entrance of the building with a blank expression. Where was he going to go? Maybe he hadn’t really thought it through just now, but regardless he started walking, not caring which direction he was going. He was gonna go out and do something no matter what it was.

Coming up to a crosswalk he stood by himself as he waited for the signal to turn on, there weren’t a lot of people at the moment when he looked around but he began to notice how some were businessmen, parents with children, or high school students hanging out with friends. Something differentiated him between them all in the end, while they had companions, he had no one.

The feeling honestly didn’t help at all knowing the only person he had was Soo Min and she was back at home ignoring him right now. It only intensified his guilty feelings. Even Jihoon was too busy to come out and meet him.

What’s the point of going out when I’m alone…

The signal to cross eventually came on and Won Woo crossed the street with everyone together. Thinking about it, he wondered if he should call someone up? Seungcheol and the others were still his friends, but he wasn’t exactly that close with them, he wondered if they’d find it odd if he asked them to hang out. Naturally they’d all be on board, but…

And then it finally dawned on him, he has Mingyu’s number, right? But soon the memories of last night surfaced and heat started to rise to his cheeks.

“Because… I kinda like you, Won Woo.”

He remembered how quiet he had gotten after he said that and Mingyu just laughed at him before walking him home. He didn’t seemed too affected by his silence, though. He supposed he really meant it when he said ‘don’t worry, I understand.’

Now he started to think about it.

Despite not believing in love at first sight, there was definitely something he felt when he was around Mingyu and he was sure it wasn’t something normal like when he was around Seungcheol and the others. As if… maybe he liked Mingyu, too?

Do I?

He wondered to himself as he came upon a park. It was a time like this that he’d talk to Soo Min, but he couldn’t, at least not right now with her still ignoring him. Taking a seat on an empty bench in the park, he pulled out his phone and opened up his contacts.

He stared at Mingyu’s name for quite some time and wondered if he should call him. Despite the nervous feelings that were present, maybe it wouldn’t be such a bad idea to have his admirer around. He said he wanted to be there for him too, right? Not having Soo Min around, he needed someone. Being alone wasn’t helping him at all right now. He used to be the type who preferred to be alone, but not anymore.

What if he’s busy though? What if he already has plans with his friends? I shouldn’t bother him, right? Those were the thoughts that ran through his mind. He was so occupied with those thoughts that he didn’t even notice someone sit on the bench next to him.

“You know, staring at it won’t make it dial the number?” A familiar voice snapped him back to reality. It was Mingyu!

“Y-You startled me!” Won Woo jumped in his seat, holding his phone to his chest.

“Sorry!” Mingyu chuckled before looking down. Won Woo noticed he was holding something and  recognized it to be a leash and instantly he jumped up and backed away quickly with a sudden look of fear. “What’s wrong?” Mingyu asked concerned. Won Woo pointed a slight shaky finger at the small four legged fluff ball by his feet. It was a puppy, or well, looked like one. It was small. “Oh, Winnie? What about him?” He asked before he picked the animal up into his arms.

“Stay back.” Won Woo held his hand out when Mingyu took a step forward.

“Oh… do you not like dogs?” Mingyu frowned, stopping where he stood. There was about 5 feet between them now.

“I uh… had a bad experience with them in the past.” Won Woo managed to say, his eyes were locked on the dog in his arms staring at him. He worried if he looked away for even a split second something bad would happen.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t know.” Mingyu gave an apologetic look and took a few more steps back.

“It’s okay.”

“Winnie is a friendly pup, so if you’re worried he might bite or something… he won’t.” Mingyu tried to assure him and hoped he’d relax a bit. “I’m not saying you should try to pet him or anything, just thought if you were worried…” he added before sitting back down on the bench.

“Thanks… that does… sort of help.” Won Woo nodded after taking a step forward with his eyes still locked on the puppy. “Just, uh… if you could just keep a hold on him, I’ll sit back down.”

“Sure.” Mingyu nodded and scooted over a little more to the other side of the bench to give Won Woo some space. “I didn’t think I’d run into you here. He’s my mother’s dog, she was busy this afternoon and asked me to walk him.”

“I see…” Won Woo said, he was still staring at the dog. He was so nervous, and in a bad way, not like how he usually was when he was around Mingyu.

“I thought to walk by your place to say hi, but maybe that would have been a terrible idea, huh?”

“Most likely.” He couldn't imagine how that would have went down.

“If you don’t mind me asking… what kind of experience did you have in the past with dogs?” Mingyu asked, he looked cautious when his words came out. “I mean, you don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to…”

“Well, back when I was 10, I was outside getting ready to ride my bike when a big dog chased me around my neighborhood.” At that sentence alone Mingyu’s eyes widened. “I had done nothing, I was minding my own business when suddenly I heard it growling behind me. I’m not sure where it even came from, not maybe people owned a dog where I lived. When it charged at me I ran for it. I tripped at some point and…” Won Woo could see the look of horror on Mingyu’s face while he told his story. “It bit me on the leg.” He continued while pointing to his left leg. “When I screamed, Soo Min heard me and ran out of her house and saw what was going on. She was really brave and came over to help, though she got bit in the process, too. We both have scars,” he rolled up his pant leg a bit to show three small scars halfway up the calf of his leg, “she got bitten a little higher,” he pointed halfway up his thigh this time, “and I always joke saying the day Jeonghan knows about that scar is the day I hit him with a frying pan.”

Mingyu laughed at his overprotective comment which relieved Won Woo just a bit. He looked so upset, hearing the story.

“I always wondered why she didn’t wear skirts or shorts like most girls do.” Mingyu said with a tilt of his head.

“Even if she didn’t have that scar, she hates skirts and dresses. She’s really not much of a girly girl to begin with.” Won Woo cleared up. “Sometimes she’d call herself as one of the guys when we’re out with the others, since majority of the time she’s the only girl among us.”

“She doesn’t have any girlfriends to hang out with?”

“She does, but… most of their activities are too girly for her, so she ends up not going out with them. She’s not as close to them as she’s close to us”

“A true King at heart.” Mingyu joked.

“Exactly!” Won Woo laughed Mingyu’s favorite laugh, but it soon died down and a dejected expression replaced it. “She still hasn’t come out of her room since last night.”

“Ah, I’m sorry…”

“No need to be sorry, it was my fault.” He sighed. “It’s kind of hard, though… she’s rarely ever upset with me like this and I just don’t know what to do. I feel really bad and…”

“It’s okay.” Mingyu gently placed a hand on his shoulder. “It’ll be okay. You two are such great friends, it will blow over soon enough. I really doubt this is going to ruin a friendship, so cheer up!”

“Easier said than done.” He sighed before he stared at the ground. Silence soon filled the atmosphere between the two. Mingyu didn’t like it, so he spoke up to change it.

“Have you eaten yet?” He asked after checking the time, it was a little past noon right about now.

“Not yet…” Won Woo said softly, his eyes were still locked on Winnie.

“Let’s go eat, then.” Mingyu suggested with a bright smile. “My treat.”

“Ah, no, you don’t have to pay for mine.” Won Woo shook his head in reply.

“You’re my friend, it’s what friends do, right?”

“... right.”

“Then let’s go!”

“What about the dog?” Won Woo remained on the bench after Mingyu got up.

“Oh, I suppose I should take him home first!” He chuckled.

“You go do that.” Won Woo made a shooing motion causing the dog to bark excitedly. He coward away when the dog wagged its little tail while trying to walk up to him but Mingyu held him back by his leash.

“Sorry! I think Winnie likes you, too!” He laughed after picking the dog back up. “You know, once you open up a bit, you’re a very likable person…”

“Eh?” Won Woo was confused for a moment, not sure why he suddenly said it.

“Just thought you should know that.” Mingyu smiled that famous kind smile at him. “I’ll come back and meet you here?”

“Uh, sure.” Won Woo nodded.

“I’ll be back!” Mingyu chimed before he turned around and placed the puppy on the ground. “Let’s hurry home, Winnie!” The puppy barked before making a run down the sidewalk, Mingyu jogged after him with the extended leash.

Won Woo smiled while watching Mingyu interact with the animal, he found it sweet. Maybe… I do like him? He began to think to himself. He thought back on his first crush to compare the feelings and they were starting to match up. But how can two people like each other so quickly? He frowned to himself and he sat there by himself for a few minutes before something caught his attention.

“Babe, stop.” He suddenly heard behind him, the voice sounded so familiar. “Babe! *soft giggle* Bab-Gosh! We’re in public! Knock it off!”

“No one can see us right now, you worry too much.” An unrecognizable voice replied.

Won Woo wasn’t sure if he should turn around or not, but curiosity got the best of him and he turned to see Seungkwan sitting in between the legs of another guy getting and he was getting cuddled from behind up against the tree. Diva Boo was looking at his phone with his free hand, the other hand occupied by what appeared to be his boyfriend’s. Even that Diva has a boyfriend? Won Woo chuckled to himself as he watched the two. He wasn’t surprised about Seungkwan being gay, he sort of got a vibe from him since the beginning. Gay radar or something.

“Gay radar, what the hell?” He muttered to himself and laughed at his own thought.

“Oh, is that you, Won Woo?” He stopped laughing and looked at them like he was just caught spying or something.

“You know him?” Seungkwan’s boyfriend quickly let go of his hand and they got up off the ground. He looked embarrassed by now and that amused Won Woo. Perhaps he found a fellow ‘easily embarrassed’ individual?

“Yeah! He’s the one I was telling you about, Mingyu’s new friend?”

“Oh, Won Woo, right?” The guy asked after looking at him. Won Woo nodded. “Nice to meet you, I’m Hansol but everyone calls me Vernon.”

“Nice to meet you.” Won Woo said back, at least he wasn’t as stiff as before when meeting people, he supposed he could add another point to his socialize more with other people scoreboard. Though, he already knew Seungkwan, so he figured that played a small factor in it.

“What are you doing here, hyung?” Seungkwan asked before looking around. “Are you here by yourself?”

“Mingyu was here a few minutes ago.” He replied after looking back at the path mentioned person left on.

“Really?! How did we not notice?!” He frowned, despite he lived with the guy, he still liked to greet him out of school and out of the apartment. “Yah, you distracted me too much!” He turned and nudged his boyfriend with a pout which made Hansol laugh.

“I thought that’s what I’m supposed to do on our date? You’re supposed to focus on me.” He said pulling him close by the waist. Seungkwan scoffed after rolling his eyes.

“You call this a date? Sitting in the park while snacking on my neck in public?”

“I wasn’t snacking!” Hansol blushed and let go of his boyfriend.

“Sure felt like it, you vampire.” Seungkwan snickered, he was embarrassing him even more.

“Oh my god! I’m just gonna go, okay?” Hansol backed away. “Was nice meeting you, Won Woo. Whatever he says about me is false!” He added before he turned to run away.

“Isn’t he just cute?” Seungkwan laughed while they watched Hansol turn around the corner, he still looked flustered. “Gosh, I love that boy.”

Won Woo watched Seungkwan stare off in the direction Hansol left and it made him smile again. He looked so in love despite how he teased the guy just now. It made him wonder how long the two were together? It was kind of different seeing a different couple in action besides the SooHan couple.

“Hyung?” Won Woo snapped out of his thought and looked down at Seungkwan. “If Mingyu left, why are you still here?”

“Ah… well, actually, he left to drop his mother’s dog off back home. We were going to go have lunch-”

“Really?! Waaaah, first date, huh?”

“No!” Won Woo shook his head and tried his best to hide the blush that tried to show itself. “We’re just eating lunch together as friends, that’s all.”

“I’m just messing with you, hyung!” Seungkwan laughed. “Sorry, I won’t do it again!”

“I-It’s okay…”

“Oh, before I go, how’s Soo Min?” He asked with a bright smile. “Too bad she wasn’t with you, I wanted to see if she ships me and Hansol.”

“I’m pretty sure she’ll ship you both.” Won Woo chuckled quietly, but there was that hint of dejection and Seungkwan caught onto it.

“Is everything okay?” He frowned.

“Not really, but it’ll be okay. It just needs time…”

“Oh no, did something bad happen?” Now the Diva looked worried.

“It’s hard to explain, but we’ll be okay.” Won Woo assured him with a small smile.

“I really hope so!” He reached over to give a supportive pat on his shoulder. “Won Woo, fighting! I’ll see you around, then! Have fun with Mingyu, okay?”

“I will, thanks… get home safely.” Won Woo said before the younger turned back to him quickly.

“Oh, I’m not going home yet. I’m gonna track down that boyfriend of mine and show him what a real vampire is like!” Seungkwan grinned. “He thinks he can get away with biting my neck in public, think again. Later!”

Won Woo just stood there and felt so much secondhand embarrassment right now while Seungkwan left down the sidewalk, in the same direction his boyfriend went. In some ways, the two reminded him of Soo Min and Jeonghan… and then began the guilty feelings again.

“You better not be sulking.” He heard Mingyu’s voice say behind him and it almost startled him. “No frowning, please. Let’s just smile and enjoy the beautiful weather!” He added and pointed up at the sky where a few dark clouds had made an appearance.

“You call that beautiful weather? It looks like it’s going to rain!” Won Woo couldn’t help but laugh at the face Mingyu made when he realized he messed up. But actually, did Mingyu really mess up or did he do that on purpose?

“Shoo, go away! You’re not supposed to be in the sky right now!” Mingyu called up to the clouds. It made Won Woo laugh even more… and now he was staring at him again! “You look so… I don’t know.” Mingyu mumbled, a huge smile on his face. He had just noticed the way Won Woo looks at him now compared to before and…

“I look so, what?” Won Woo asked, he was curious about what he was going to say.

“You look happy when you’re with me.” Mingyu said calmly. The look on his face was so genuine, it made Won Woo’s heart flutter a bit. To see him look so joyful at him made him feel joyful too.

“Maybe because… I am.” Won Woo gave a small smile.

“That’s good. That makes me happy.” Mingyu said with a bright smile, now it was Won Woo who was staring at him again. “Let’s go~!” He added and snapped him out of it by giving him a small push forward to start walking.

“Do you think they really like each other?” Soo Min asked while she spun around in the swivel chair next to Jihoon. Without glancing at her from his computer screen, he reached out to stop her chair with one arm and proceeded to push her away, she went sliding over to the wall with a small collision.

“Don’t do that near my equipment.” He warned. She only giggled sheepishly from her seat.

“I asked you a question!” She whined before spinning in the chair by the wall now.

“No, I don’t think they like each other like that. They just put a show on for you.” He answered while he clicked away at his screen. They were talking about the JiHan ship.

Soo Min managed to leave her room after she heard Won Woo leave the apartment earlier. She had done a lot of thinking since last night and found herself alone, so she decided to come visit her other close friend Jihoon at his studio. He majors in music and wants to become a producer after he graduates.

“How can we be so sure… they must be good actors then. They’re fooling me…” she sighed when her spinning seat slowed down to a stop. She got quiet and soon got lost in thoughts about it again.

Jihoon finally glanced her way to see the dejected expression on her face and inwardly sighed before he pushed himself away from his desk. He swiveled over to her by the wall. “Why don’t you talk to them about it?” He said and lightly kicked her leg.

“I don’t want to.” She pouted and kicked him back.

“You’re such a kid,” he kicked her again, “ignoring it isn’t going to do anything.”

“You’re forgetting that you’re not the one in this complicated situation!” She kicked him back again. “It’s easy for you to say!”

“I gave you advice, you take it or leave it. Don’t come to my studio to sulk about it and get mad at me when I try to help.” He turned and gave himself a push off the wall to head back to his desk. She watched him slide past his desk and laughed when she saw him desperately reach out to stop himself, it was so cute! Trying to be all cool failed him terribly.

She jumped out of her chair and sprinted over to catch him from hitting the other wall before pushing him back to his desk. “Sorry, I wasn’t trying to get mad at you…”

“It’s fine.” He assured her before he turned in his seat to look up at her. “I really do suggest you talk to the two about it, seriously. They’re going to tell you it was all for you in the end anyway, you shouldn’t even be upset about it to begin with.” Why was this even a problem, anyway?

“Tch, again…” she crossed her arms with a roll of her eyes, “I have a right to be upset! If there was even a chance that they did like each other, and if Jeonghan liked Jisoo more, he could leave me for him!” There was a flicker of emotions that flashed across her face. “When you love someone so much like this and think about the possibilities of that someone leaving you for someone else… it hurts.” Oh right, that could be a problem.

“Don’t start crying now.” Jihoon frowned. “I didn’t know, I’m sorry. I spoke without knowing anything, I’m sorry.”

“No, don’t be sorry… I’m just overreacting.” She turned away from him and wiped at her eyes quickly.

“God, things were so much better when we were all single.” Jihoon sighed, his comment made her chuckle… he had a point. They wouldn’t have any of this drama right now if they were still single. ‘They’ being only Soo Min.

“That’s so cute the way you say we, when I’m the only one in a relationship between you, Won Woo and I.”

“When Jeonghan decided to date you, he decided to date us too because we’re your right and left hand.” He said with the most cutest pout. “And as your left hand, I don’t like how this situation is going, if things don’t clear up, I’m gonna have to do something about it.”

“Easy there, lefty!” She laughed at his attempt to cheer her up. “Thanks for having my back, or should I say hand?” She held up her left hand to emphasize.

“No problem.” He smiled before getting up and took a hold of her left hand into his. “Now, get out of my studio, I’m working.”

“Yah!” She pouted when he led her to the exit.

“Go talk to Won Woo.” He smiled after successfully pushing her out. “I better not hear you’re still ignoring him after tonight.” He said in a warning tone, yet there was a smile on his face when he waved and bid her a farewell, then he shut the door.

She supposed she should listen to him, because he was right… JiHan was probably just a show for her all this time and she just overreacted. But she wasn’t sure why it felt real at times. Like she had this feeling that they really did like each other, why else would Jeonghan be that comfortable doing skinship with Jisoo? Why doesn’t Jisoo protest that much either? She was thinking about it way too much again. I’m going crazy!

She turned around and made her way out of Jihoon’s parent’s house after a few minutes, but she didn’t exactly go home. Won Woo probably wasn’t there. She hoped he met up with one of the others, or even better, Mingyu.

...

“Is there anywhere you want to eat at?” Mingyu asked Won Woo after they made it to a crosswalk in the city.

“Um… I don’t know.” Won Woo answered honestly after he shrugged. “I don’t really eat out that often.”

“That’s okay.” Mingyu assured him with that kind smile. “In time we can change that, okay?”

“O-Okay.” Won Woo managed to answer without stuttering too much. His heart had fluttered again when Mingyu looked at him with such understanding. He really liked how he was becoming more and more comfortable around Mingyu.

“For now, how about we go eat at the food court in the mall? We could go to the arcade after and play some games, you know, have a little fun after a long week of school.” Mingyu’s expression started out cheerful until it changed into one of stress and fatigue. It made Won Woo chuckle.

“Sure, that sounds good.”

“Great!” Mingyu looked happy at his friend’s answer, maybe a little too happy and Won Woo found it adorable. When the crosswalk signal finally signaled them to cross, they were off.

About ten minutes into their walk, Won Woo decided to add more points to his socialize more with other people scoreboard and asked Mingyu about his classes. It would be good to talk about something relatable, right? They were both attending college after all, that was a good topic to start a good conversation!

“Horrible!” Mingyu blurted out and that shocked Won Woo. He had expected a more calmer answer like ‘it’s going fine and you?’

“What happened?” Won Woo frowned.

“There was a sudden pop quiz that I wasn’t prepared for and I’m pretty sure I tanked it. I couldn’t finish my homework on time and I zoned out during the lectures. There’s a test next class period and I don’t have any notes to study off of, I’m so screwed!” It was different to see Mingyu so stressed out like this. While it would probably sadden other people, Won Woo found it cute. He must be a sadist.

“Relax.” Won Woo managed to say with a hint of laughter before resting a hand on his back. “What class is it for?”

[Let’s just go off of something I know a little of lol]

“Math.”

“You’re screwed.” Won Woo said with a straight face and Mingyu looked at him with such a hurt look. He had thought Won Woo was asking to see if he could help him with his situation! “I’m kidding! Maybe I can help you, it just depends on what kind of Math?”

“Technical Math.”

“You’re screwed.” AGAIN. Mingyu looked so dejected.

“I’ll check to see if I still have my notes from last semester, chill out.” Won Woo laughed.

“You’re so mean!” Mingyu pouted, but he couldn’t hide the smile behind that pout. “But thanks.”

“No problem.” Won Woo gave him a cute smile this time. “It’s the least I can do if you’re paying for my food, right?”

“Right. I should take you out to eat more often so I can get an A in that class.”

“Sounds like a plan.” Won Woo actually agreed and once again, Mingyu looked really happy. He could guess it was because he was trying to be more social with him. Pretty soon his scoreboard will be full in no time!

...

It was about an hour later since Soo Min left Jihoon’s place and she was aimlessly walking around the streets. She didn’t really have a destination in mind, she still didn’t want to go home just yet. When she came up around a corner, she quickly jumped back to hide when she saw two familiar faces sitting at one of the tables at the outdoor patio of the corner cafe.

It was Jeonghan and Jisoo.

Too soon! Too soon! I can’t run into them now! She frantically thought to herself before she turned to head the other way when their conversation grabbed her attention.

“I wonder if she’s still locked up in her room…” Jeonghan’s voice had a hint of worry as he set his drink down on the table. He was obviously talking about Soo Min.

“What happened last night?” Jisoo asked next in a curious tone.

Soo Min peeked around the corner and shamelessly began to spy on them.

“Won Woo said something that made her really think about the JiHan ship. She looked pretty upset before she went to her room.”

“What about our ship?”

“What if it’s real?” Jeonghan looked at him with a calm expression.

“Really?” Jisoo bit back a small laugh because he knew this wasn’t no laughing matter. “It’s not real, though.”

“I know it’s not, it never was… but I suppose she believes in us a little too much. Maybe she’s worried I’d leave her for you or something which would never happen, I’m a loyal Queen in reality. She has nothing to worry about.” He explained and did a small hair flip with his long free locks, it made Jisoo laugh this time.

“Well, in the end… it’s sweet, don’t you think?”

“What’s sweet?”

“Being upset shouldn’t be a good thing, but it shows how much she really loves you, right? To worry about something like this… I find it sweet. There are so many couples who stop trying once they’re together. They just think because they’re in the relationship now, they don’t have to worry about their lover ever leaving them. It’s like winning a balloon and thinking it won’t ever deflate…”

“So poetic…” Jeonghan said with an amused grin.

“You get what I’m saying, right?” Jisoo pouted.

“I get it, and you’re right. It’s perfectly normal for her to worry about our status… I know our status is going to be okay, but I’m worried about her status with Won Woo now…”

“She ignoring him?”

“Maybe… I haven’t been over there yet or contacted them… I thought to just give them their space.”

“Hopefully things will resolve soon enough.” Jisoo said before he noticed a face peeking from behind the wall in the corner of his eyes.

Without drawing attention to himself, he glanced over to catch Soo Min spying on them. Jeonghan had looked down at his phone just then and was too distracted to notice their silent interactions going on right now.

“Shhh! I wasn’t here!” Soo Min mouthed to him, she hoped he wouldn’t say anything. She motioned she was going to leave and Jisoo only smiled.

“You heard all of that, right?” He motioned between him and Jeonghan, referring to their talk just a moment ago. She nodded with small smile and gave him a thank you. “No more JiHan, then?” He saw her conflicted expression and held back a laugh.

“So does this mean we don’t get to have our little dates anymore?” Jisoo spoke up after catching Jeonghan’s attention.

“What?” Jeonghan chuckled before following his friend’s gaze to Soo Min who ducked behind the wall. He could see her shoulder in plain view and he smiled. He found his girlfriend’s attempt at hiding so adorable. “All dates must be arranged through my almighty King.” He looked back to Jisoo who let his laughter out this time.

“I guess I’m never going to see you again!” Jisoo feigned sadness.

“Babe, come over here.” Jeonghan called over to Soo Min who tried to peek at them again. She let out a defeated sigh and came out of her hiding spot and headed towards their table. Jeonghan pulled her over and motioned her to sit in his lap and she did as she was told. He wrapped his arms around her and looked up at her pouting face from getting caught.

“You heard all of that, so… feel better now?” Jisoo asked, obviously referring to her worried thoughts about the JiHan ship. She quietly nodded with a slight embarrassed look with her eyes fixated on Jeonghan’s drink on the table.

“Have you talked to Won Woo yet?” Jeonghan asked before reaching over to grab his drink and held it up to her to share his beverage. She shook her head no before she took a sip. Her expression lit up at the taste of the strawberry smoothie and she took another sip. “You should talk to him soon, okay?”

She silently nodded and took several more sips of his smoothie but her Queen caught on and reached up to take it back. She turned away from him and hopped off his lap and ran back to her hiding spot from before. “Yah!” He complained with a small laugh.

“I don’t think you’re getting your smoothie back.” Jisoo chuckled.

“I thought you were supposed to be sweet! Not be sour and steal my smoothie!”

“Don’t worry, your highness, I’ll buy you another one!” The Queen’s Mistress assured.

“That’s fine, we’ll just share yours.” Jeonghan said in a teasing tone. That got Soo Min running back to the table but instead of returning her boyfriend’s smoothie she stole Jisoo’s, too!

“We got a runaway smoothie stealer!” They joked and she literally ran away this time. The two sat there for a moment before heading inside to reorder their smoothies knowing she wasn’t coming back now. “Did she really have to steal my smoothie, too?” Jisoo sighed when they went up to the counter.

As for Soo Min...

“I talked to them! I talked to them!” She cheered when she entered Jihoon’s studio for the second time today.

“Damn it, Soo Min… I was recording!” Her friend complained as he stopped his guitar playing and faced her with a small glare.

“Isn’t this more important?!” She joke before shrinking back a little when his glare didn’t let up. He stopped his recording before he sat his guitar down on its stand and faced her again.

“What, did you buy drinks and come here to celebrate?” He asked and pointed to the two smoothies in her hand.

“Oh, these?! I stole them, here.” She handed over Jisoo’s.

“From who?!” He took a step back, he was suddenly worried.

“From JiHan!”

“You’re still calling them that?” He relaxed his shoulders and accepted the smoothie. At least he knew where it came from.

“Yeah, everything's fine now… the JiHan ship still sails, but I’m still the captain.”

“Of course you are, you always were.” He chuckled before taking a sip. “Yuck, what is this?” His face scrunched up at the minty taste. “Mint Chocolate?”

“Oh, you want to trade?” She grinned at the flavor, she loved it! “Jeonghan had Strawberry.”

“It’s almost empty!” He frowned when she started to sip on Jisoo’s smoothie.

“Sorry!” She gave a sheepish giggle.

“I swear…” he narrowed his eyes at her when she continued to consume the Mint Chocolate smoothie. “I bet Jisoo ordered that so his breath would be minty fresh, should he and the Queen share an intimate kiss.” He burst into laughter when she nearly choked on the smoothie.

“You jerk!” She complained before looking down at the mess on her shirt now.

“You deserved it, trying to trade off a near empty smoothie to me.” He said while he up the last bit of said drink.

“I hope you get hiccups from all that air you’re u-” Before she could finish her sentence, Jihoon hiccuped and his irritated reaction had her bent over laughing, it was like he just got offended by the smoothie cup.

Have you ever come across songs you used to listen to before Kpop and miraculously know all the lyrics still and just start passionately lip sync to it at 3am in the morning?!

Yay! The Mistress is happy LOL

Not much Meanie in this chapter, sorry!

Basically the main characters are Won Woo and Soo Min along with Mingyu of course XD

I don’t mean to shed too much light on Soo Min, so sorry in advance haha

I’ll try to keep her parts at a minimum but she’s important for Won Woo’s character here so…

I mean I won’t focus too much on her alone

but more like her supporting character in Won Woo’s life…

uh… *not making sense?*

Sorta have to deal with it lol…
*That’s Won Woo telling Mingyu that he has to accept him AND Soo Min, LOL JK*

Won Woo: You gotta accept my Wingman too, bro… we’re two peas in a pod, we can’t be separated…

Mingyu: I’ll make it work… *plans to lock Soo Min in the closet or something*

(Random Hansol in the back XD like, where’s my Diva Boo?)

As far as the continuation I think it would be ok since you will be updating a few months from now. Right now it would seem a little weird, but I don't think it will be bad later. Go with your heart though.
