Chapter 19

CLOSER [HIATUS]

“It’s not what it looks like!” Junhui exclaimed, completely flustered. “I was just changing my shirt because I had my change of clothes in here before I went to bed las-”

“Chill out.” Won Woo finally gave him a smile with a laugh.

“But you looked at me like I was doing something dirty!” Junhui frowned.

“Couldn’t you have changed in a different room?” Won Woo asked before his eyes panned down to Mingyu. “And why is his… shirt off?” There was pink dusting his cheeks at the mere sight. He hadn’t seen his crush shirtless before, how does one stay calm? I should ask Soo Min.

“I don’t know. He was like that when I got in here.” The older explained before quickly slipping his shirt on before anyone else would show up at the small entrance. “Maybe it got hot in here?”

“Hmm…” Won Woo suddenly felt worried, but then he thought maybe he was someone who liked to sleep with his shirt off? Maybe this was normal? Should I ask his friends? But would they about it? He decided against that. They didn’t have to know. But still… what was it? Won Woo hesitantly reached out to rest his hand on Mingyu’s forehead and his expression dropped. He felt a bit warm, like he had a fever.

“You think he’s sick?” Junhui noticed Won Woo’s expression.

“I hope not. Maybe he’s stressed?” Even though Junhui doesn’t know about what happened last night at the convenience store, Won Woo did and he felt like it was probably because of that.

“Maybe. I guess it wasn’t that bad since he didn’t strip down until he was . Can you imagine that?” Junhui chuckled before he saw Won Woo glare at him, but there was a hint of jealousy in it. “Not like I’m into that, don’t worry!” He raised his hands up in defence.

“Shut up.” Won Woo said and started to feel embarrassed.

“Do you think he’s a heavy sleeper?” The older asked and attempted to pick up Mingyu’s left hand. He didn’t stir from the sudden movement and Junhui was about to drop his hand when Won Woo ushered him not to do that.

“Just leave him alone!” He scolded in a whisper.

“Oh, I’m sure it’s because you wanted to do this, right?” Junhui teased before dropping Mingyu’s hand. Nothing happened. “I’m only checking so I can put his shirt back on. Your face is as red as a tomato, I’m just trying to help out!” He added after he grabbed the shirt that was tossed to the side at some point in the night.

“Why does he look dead? Is that normal?” Won Woo asked with clear worry laced in his tone while Junhui dressed the sleeping giant.

“I think so-AH!” Junhui suddenly shouted and it nearly gave Won Woo a heart attack and he leaned back out of reflex.

“What?! What?! What?!” He asked.

“I thought I saw a shadow.” Junhui said with a sigh and his hand clutched to his chest.

“It’s probably the others, what are you getting scared for?!”

“I don’t know. I’m out of here!” Junhui pouted before crawling out of the room now that Mingyu’s shirt was back on. Won Woo moved aside so he could get through but instead of crawling in, he stayed at the opening. He was too nervous to crawl in but he was too worried to leave Mingyu alone. Damn… He wanted to do more for him but his struggle to do things like that prevented him. If it were Soo Min, he would have already been by her side nursing her back to health, same for Jihoon, but this wasn’t his best friends he was dealing with, this was his crush. That made it that much worse, didn’t it?! What do I do?!

Junhui must’ve said something to the others, because no one came in to bother them for the next hour. Won Woo’s phone displayed that it was almost 11am and he soon realized… maybe they weren’t going fishing today after all. But that was fine, everyone’s health came first, there would always be a next time, possibly. The others had already been packing around the camp for departure, the last thing to be done would be the tent, but Mingyu hadn’t woken up yet. They thought about just waking him up so he could go sleep in the van, but they didn’t want to do that to him, so they waited.

Won Woo appreciated everyone’s patience and it felt weird now that he was happy about the things that happened to Mingyu. Before, he would get happy when others treated his best friends nicely, just like how he thanked Mingyu for caring about him and Soo Min and occasionally Jihoon and Jeonghan. And now it had changed… he was happy at how Mingyu’s and his own friends treated Mingyu. He smiled to himself when he realized that he’s indeed been happier since Mingyu came into the picture. There was no denying it now.

“Won Woo?” A voice suddenly snapped him out of his thoughts. It was Mingyu!

“You’re awake?” He asked with that concerned look on his face and watched Mingyu sit up and rub the sleep out of his eyes. He looked around before his eyes locked on Won Woo sitting at the tent room entrance.

“What are you doing?” Mingyu asked instead since the answer to the older’s question was obvious. “Why are you sitting there like that?” He tilted his head with the most adorable look on his face, Won Woo could feel his heart flutter and his face warm up.

“Uh,” Won Woo averted his eyes away so he could answer without stuttering. “Jun and I noticed you had a fever earlier, so I stayed behind to watch over you.”

“Really?”

“Yeah, though I’m sorry I didn’t do much, I just only sat here the whole time, doing nothing.” Won Woo’s mood suddenly faltered and he was reminded of how useless he felt last night when the dog was chasing his best friend around. The least I could have done was put a cool rag on his forehead. He thought to himself.

“That’s okay, I’m happy that you stayed to watch over me. That counts.” Mingyu smiled. He knew what Won Woo was probably thinking and he didn’t want him to feel like that. “I actually feel great now. I think your presence was enough to heal me because you’re such a cool guy, Won Woo.”

There was a moment of silence between them before Won Woo’s straight face broke and he snickered. “That was lame.”

“I know.” Mingyu laughed along. “But I honestly feel like it helped in a way.”

“I doubt it.” Won Woo wasn’t trying to be negative, but he was only saying what was probably true. He doesn’t have any magical healing powers, Mingyu was probably just saying that to make him feel better, and it did… for a moment.

“Think what you will, but I believe it helped. Thank you, Won Woo.” Mingyu gave him a sincere smile and it was enough to make Won Woo freeze in his spot and stare. The younger didn’t say anything and let the older zone out as much as he wanted, because why ruin this moment?

And as if like an annoying habit, they were interrupted, but not by their friends, by the weather. There was a bright flash followed by the loudest thunder they’ve ever heard, it was so loud that it felt like it shook the ground. Mingyu’s friends shouted from being startled and naturally, Soo Min had screamed because she’s terrified of storms like these. “I hope that wasn’t fate trying to interrupt us.” Mingyu gave a cute pout, but Won Woo was too dazed to even catch that.

They both hurried outside to see the sun had disappeared behind the ominous clouds from earlier and its army. It seemed spooky the way the wind started to kick up. “Save yourselves!” Seungkwan blurted out while running back into the tent.

“What if the tent blows away, get back out here!” Hansol called after him.

adOWJLXFCP5oZ-WPpzuzMfAn6UcFF-ZvtSBQtpFbZKrIF7pPFQCioCP_RozAkg0gODSdbdNeleshI02kEl0w7Rt8xaBL4WYrt1Ymqdly2USWpQ3K6kYvMVwAXRcz1ZRHnGsSsm9u

Chaos, utter chaos.

Everyone was running around trying to catch items that were being blown away by the sudden wind and everyone had a bad feeling this wasn’t going to end well. They had to work fast, like incredibly fast. Won Woo recalled how Seungkwan had been so animated the day they arrived and spoke to them as if they were soldiers on a mission. It sure felt like it now that Soonyoung and Seungcheol were directing everyone on what to do and where to go.

Chan, Jihoon, Seungkwan and Soo Min were ordered to help with the minor stuff because they were smaller than the others and they didn’t want them getting hurt trying to handle the bigger stuff. Jeonghan, Hansol, Seokmin and Mingyu all tended to carrying the cooking equipment and dishes. Won Woo and Junhui took care of carrying the fold up chairs and a few other items. Seungcheol, Soonyoung and Seokmin focused on taking down the tent. Junhui, Jeonghan, Won Woo and Mingyu joined in afterwards to fold up the tent once the support was removed and packed away for future use. By then the rain had started to grow heavy.

“We'll head out now. Drive safe~!” Seungcheol said to Soonyoung and the others before heading to his car with his own group where they last parked it.

When they got there, they noticed someone was in the car next to his. They didn’t really pay much attention to it, but Jihoon couldn’t help but notice the familiar face sitting in the passenger seat browsing his phone. Ren? He thought before Soo Min snapped him out of his thoughts. In that split second, the other looked up and locked eyes with Jihoon and stared.

“What’s wrong?” Seungcheol’s voice snapped him out of it again.

“Nothing.” Jihoon muttered before quickly getting into the back seat. He avoided looking out the window and tried to focus on his phone until they left the parking lot. Was that really him?

“Jihoon?” Soo Min asked a short while later after they were on the road back to the city. “Is something wrong?” She added quietly. Seungcheol and Junhui were having a conversation in the front and didn’t notice them talking quietly behind them.

“I’m fine.” He assured her.

“You seem a little shaken up?”

“Don’t worry about it.” Jihoon said without sparing her a glance. He seemed pretty bothered now and she figured she shouldn’t pester him about it. Sometimes she tries to talk to her friends but the moment they seem annoyed, she stops, too afraid to go any further in case she really ticks them off. She didn’t like being asked about stuff she didn’t want to talk about it either, she knew how it felt. “Did you finish your Choco Pies?” He asked and caught her attention again.

“Oh… uh,” she thought about it. “I think I gave Mingyu’s friends three boxes, and I ate one box… so, I don't think so.” She shook her head. There was ten when she started, so if she did the math right, there would be six boxes left.

“Can I have one?”

“... what’s the magic word?” She suddenly grinned and that’s when Seungcheol and Junhui’s conversation died down in the front and they noticed them.

“Nevermind.” He pouted and returned to his phone. Soo Min only laughed while scooting up to access the trunk by pulling down her seat. “Don’t even try, you’ll hurt yourself-”

“Got one!” She shouted and stuck her arm out to hand it to him. That was quick!

“Thanks.” He accepted the treat and proceeded to open it. When he took a bite, he noticed she hadn’t come out and wasn’t moving. “You’re stuck, aren’t you?” He sighed.

“Kinda.” He could hear her give a sheepish laugh and he chuckled before continuing to eat the Choco Pie.

“Aren’t you going to help her?” Seungcheol asked with a worried laugh while looking at him through the rearview mirror.

“When I’m done eating.” Jihoon simply said and they could hear Soo Min whine about it. She’d be fine riding with her Choco Pies for a bit.

...

“Is everything packed?” Soonyoung asked around once they returned to the van. They had parted from Seungcheol, Junhui, Jihoon and Soo Min since they had come to the camping site separately. It was agreed they’d all head home with the group they came with.

“That should be everything!” Seungkwan said before he looked into the van and noticed Won Woo and Mingyu weren’t present. “Where did they go?” The small group of friends looked at each other before looking to Chan and Jeonghan sitting in the seats that were before the last row.

They shook their heads, implying they didn’t know where the two went off to. They were too busy watching the van while everything was being put away. Mingyu’s friends decided they’d go back to where their camp was set up. They hoped Won Woo hadn’t gotten lost again, but luckily they saw footprints in the mud trailing into the woods this time on a different path.

Jeonghan and Chan were left to watch the van while the others left to search for the missing two. “I hope they find them quick.” Chan said with such a worried expression, it made Jeonghan frown.

“Don’t worry, I’m sure they will. If they don’t come back within an hour, we’ll go out and look for them too. Okay?”

“Okay.” Chan nodded and continued to look out the window after shutting the door to keep the rain out. It was getting cold.

Jeonghan was worried once again about Won Woo catching a cold and decided he’d pull out his spare jacket for him to wear when he returns. He told Chan to do the same and they patiently waited. After a few minutes, Chan called out to Jeonghan. “Yes?” He answered.

“Is there anything going on between Mingyu-hyung and Won Woo-hyung?”

“I’m not sure.” Jeonghan shook his head. “Have you noticed anything?”

“Kind of… Won Woo-hyung seems much happier these days. It’s really different.” Chan explained innocently, never taking his eyes off the window. “I notice he seems a lot happier when he’s near Mingyu-hyung.”

“I’ve noticed it a couple of times, too.”

“So, maybe the do like each other?” He finally looked to Jeonghan with that precious look of curiosity. “I mean… it was the same with you and noona, right? It took awhile?”

“Unfortunately, yes. But to be honest, sometimes the wait is worth it.” Jeonghan gave him a sweet smile. “Don’t ever think about the time, it just makes it that much longer of a wait.”

“Right.” Chan nodded with a smile of his own before Jeonghan tilted his head and hummed.

“Is there something you want to tell me, Chan?” He asked with a suspicious look.

“Oh? U-Uh…” Chan panicked for a second before he looked back out the window. “No! I was just curious!” He said with a nervous laugh. Jeonghan didn’t buy that, but at the same time he wasn’t ready to hear what Chan wanted to say, just like a true parent. He didn’t want his baby to grow up too fast! He didn’t want to think of Chan liking girls yet!

“I’m sorry.” Won Woo blurted out while he shivered next to Mingyu who was standing next to him in the woods under a similar tree that he took shelter under last time he got lost.

“It’s fine!” Mingyu assured him.

What had happened earlier was Won Woo noticed he lost his friendship bracelet Soo Min had given him when they were 8 years old. He thought to wear it on this trip since Soo Min wasn't originally going with him. It'd at least bring him some sort of comfort having that special bracelet with him while she wasn't around. Since it had been so long ago, the worn out chain must’ve broke at some point during the trip and he didn't notice. He hadn’t realized it till the last minute they were packing up, and when he backtracked, he had had a feeling he lost it when he got lost with Jeonghan yesterday. Because he clearly remembered he had it on before he went into the woods. He wasn’t sure why it took him this long to find out, it was probably long gone now and sunken into the mud from the storm.

Despite the heavy rain and the fact they were about to leave to go back home, something just overcame Won Woo and he dashed into the woods hoping he could remember the spot where he and Jeonghan had taken shelter. The tree he and Mingyu were under currently resembled the tree he stood under yesterday but there was no sign of his bracelet. He never thought he’d be the type to worry about such things, he lost his rings sometimes at school or when he and his friends went out to eat. He always bought new ones so it was no big deal, but he couldn’t buy another friendship bracelet, it was a one of a kind, it wasn’t as simple as that.

So, maybe he wasn’t crazy for running into the woods like a mad man trying to find something he lost that was dear and precious to him. And it seemed like Mingyu understood when Won Woo told him why he ran off. “We’ll head back when the rain lightens up.” He said before he noticed Won Woo shiver again. His jacket was drenched and wasn’t proper for the rain, but Mingyu’s was at least. “Here, take my jacket.” He offered, but Won Woo rejected it.

“N-No. You had a f-fever earlier, you should stay warm.” Won Woo said with chattering teeth.

“But you’re going to get a fever if you don’t take it.” Mingyu protested and tried to place it around his shoulders. Won Woo didn’t have much energy to reject him a second time and allowed Mingyu to wrap him in his jacket. But he was surprised that he also hugged him. “If you don’t find your bracelet, it’s okay. Don’t think your attempt to find it was for nothing, you still have Soo Min who can make you another one, even though it doesn’t hold much history, the idea is that it’s still from her, right?”

“Right.” Won Woo managed to say in reply. He wanted to return his hug, but he was too occupied with holding his jacket tight around himself to keep warm. Instead, he rested his head against Mingyu’s shoulder. It seemed to be enough since Mingyu’s hold tightened.

“I’m trying to keep you warm, by the way.” Mingyu pointed out with a nervous laugh.

“That’s fine. I don’t m-mind.” Won Woo chuckled, his chattering teeth were coming to a stop because of Mingyu’s kind offer. This moment seemed special for him and he was enjoying it. It only brought up his thoughts from earlier, when he thought he was jealous about Jeonghan and Soo Min’s relationship. Jealous of their love.

“What are you thinking about?” Mingyu suddenly asked. He was curious about that smile Won Woo had on his face and he selfishly wanted to know what it was from. As if the situation didn’t make it obvious.

“Nothing.” Won Woo said softly. He was close enough to Mingyu for him to hear it despite how loud the rain was. “I’ve just been thinking a lot on this trip…”

“That was a very contradicting answer.” Mingyu chuckled.

“Sorry.” Won Woo blushed when he heard his crush’s laugh so close like this. He could feel his chest vibrate from the sound, it was a new experience. “Well, it’s embarrassing to say…”

“What is?”

“... it’s hard for me to talk about things.”

“I know. I understand.” Mingyu assured him with a small pat on his back. “You can talk to me whenever you want to, don’t worry.”

Won Woo could feel those warm fuzzy feelings on the inside and he smiled into Mingyu’s shoulder. The younger definitely felt that and it sent a spark throughout his body, he was definitely happy right now. He was glad that Won Woo allowed him to be this close. This didn’t have to be a romantic thing, sometimes a friend just needs a hug or some comforting.

Won Woo mumbled and Mingyu barely caught it. “I think I’ve realized on this trip that I’m jealous of the love everyone has around me. Jihoon the love from his fparents and friends. Soo Min has the love from her parents, Jeonghan and her friends. Your friends have the love of each other and you. Everyone has some sort of love… and even though I have the love from my friends, I don’t have the love from my parents nor from someone I love.” He sounded tired while he was saying it, like he was in some sort of trance and wasn’t really aware about what he was saying, like he didn’t know he was saying all of this out loud. Mingyu started to wonder if he meant to keep all of that in his head? “I’ve been wondering what that kind of love feels like?” He could at least say he knew what love from a sibling was like, because he had Soo Min and Jihoon who were like siblings to him, but he didn’t really know what love from his parents or from a lover was like. “If I could just experience it once before my time on Earth is over, I’d be happy.”

“You’re only 20, right?” Mingyu blurted out. “You still have a long life ahead of you, why are you saying stuff like that?!”

“What’s wrong?” Won Woo didn’t know why Mingyu sounded upset suddenly.

“I don’t want you thinking you’re going to die alone… because you’re not. I don’t want you thinking you’re never going to experience that love… because you will.”

“And you know, because?” Won Woo managed to pull back a bit to look up at him.

“Because…” Mingyu was looking into Won Woo’s eyes intensely now. It was making Won Woo super nervous now, he felt like maybe this was the day Mingyu confesses to him or something… he knew the giant likes him, he's said so himself a short while ago. So it was only a matter of time before Mingyu would properly confess to him, right? “I… I lov-” before he could finish his sentence there was a flash of lightning and the second Mingyu’s voice left his lips, the thunder drowned him out. Won Woo didn’t hear what he said because of that.

“Ahhhh~!” They heard someone shout in the distance. “We’re going to die!” Seungkwan wailed.

“Don’t be so dramatic!” Seokmin laughed before there was another flash of lightning.

“The earth is shaking, it’s opening up a portal to hell!” Soonyoung’s voice managed to echo through the rain.

“Why are you two being so extra?! You really think something like that is going to happen?!” Hansol’s annoyed voice sounded hilarious and both Mingyu and Won Woo parted from each other since they sounded close. It was better that they weren’t caught being that close or they’d never hear the end of it. Mingyu wasn’t sure if he should be happy to see his friends or not. He was a bit thankful to the weather, but at the same time… Another time.

“There you are! We were so worried!” Seungkwan blurted out when they finally spotted Mingyu and Won Woo. They rushed over to check on them, they didn’t bother commenting on how close the two had been standing next to each other, it seemed so harmless and there was a good reason. There was no reason to tease them about something like that. Hansol asked if they were okay and led them back once they got an answer. By then, Soo Min’s group had already left a long time ago. So much for following each other, but that was fine.

“Are you okay?” Mingyu asked once they were dried off and sitting safely in the back of the van. Jeonghan had made sure to give Won Woo the extra jackets to keep him warm and Seokmin did the same for Mingyu. It was adorable to see the two sitting in the back all bundled up, they were all seriously hoping they wouldn’t catch a cold after this.

Won Woo looked at Mingyu before giving a small smile. “I’m okay, thanks to you.” He said softly. His hand moved towards him but he didn’t know what he was doing last second and retracted it with an embarrassed chuckle. Maybe he was going to pat him on the shoulder or something but decided it’d be awkward of him to do it and chickened out. He could hear Mingyu hold in a laugh at his sudden behavior and heard the word cute leave his lips in a soft tone. It made him think of what Mingyu was going to say back then. Was he going to say he… loves me?

“Thanks for bringing me along!” Junhui said with a bright smile after getting his luggage from the trunk of Seungcheol’s car. They were currently at his shared apartment dropping him off. “Be sure to invite me again next time!”

“Of course.” Seungcheol gave him a smile and waved. Soo Min and Jihoon did the same from the backseat window before Junhui turned and headed inside. It seemed like Jisoo and Minghao weren’t home at the moment, so they left to drop Jihoon off next.

“I guess the others got delayed on the way back.” Soo Min muttered when they were pulling up to Jihoon’s place. It looked like his parents were home and she decided she should go in and say hi. Seungcheol thought the same. Before they made it to the door, she texted Won Woo and asked if they were almost home.

Won Woo: In about an hour. They invited Jeonghan, Chan and I to dinner. Do you want to come with?

“My goodness, I thought you were just seriously occupied with your music in your studio that whole time!” Jihoon’s mother exclaimed with a shocked expression. “We had no idea you left the house!”

“Sorry.” Jihoon apologized with a sheepish smile. This happened a lot, Jihoon would get so into his music that sometimes he wouldn’t see his parents for a day or two, because he’d come out while they were out or sleeping, a lot of off timing situations. While his parents cared for him a lot, they knew not to bother him while he’s working on his music. He’s an adult now and can do things on his own, but every now and again, they’ll call or text to check up on him.

“Where did you go?” His father asked.

“We went camping with the others.” Seungcheol answered. “We left Friday evening.”

“Two days!” Jihoon's mother looked impressed. She believed maybe her son was a ninja? “Anywho, have you three eaten yet? Dinner is about ready to serve.”

Jihoon looked up to his friends for an answer. “Sure!” They both nodded with big smiles on their faces. Whatever was cooking smelt delicious!

Soo Min: That's okay, go ahead and eat with them, I'll eat with Jihoon :D Have fun!

Won Woo: You say that like something is going to happen...

Soo Min: Maybe, you never know! ^_^

Won Woo: Whatever, see you later :)

She couldn't stop smiling at her phone and Jihoon had to snap her out of it. “What are you smiling about?”

“Look… Won Woo is definitely happier these days.” She explained after showing him the text with the smile emoticon. Won Woo rarely ever used it before.

“That's good.” Jihoon had a small smile on his lips. “I'm glad.”

“Me too. It's your turn next!” She said with a grin and he instantly pouted at her.

He could hear Seungcheol chuckle next to him and he felt that strange feeling again. He could only describe it as an uncomfortable warm tingling feeling in his stomach. Like he swallowed a bowl of earthworms and they were squirming around in his stomach. It didn't hurt and he figured it wasn't a big deal, but man has it been annoying! It keeps happening. He thought before his mother returned to the table with a tray of their food.

He could think about this later. It was time to eat!

...

“Just meet us at the restaurant at 6pm!” Soonyoung called out to the three who piled out of the van to be dropped off. It was Won Woo, Jeonghan and Chan.

They had agreed to give time for everyone to go home and wash up before having dinner together. Especially since most of them had gotten stuck in the rain before they officially left the camping grounds.

“Okay, we'll be there.” Jeonghan said before waving. Won Woo and Chan did the same before they turned and headed up to the WooMin duo's shared apartment.

“Just so you know, Soo Min's not here.” Won Woo said after punching in the passcode.

“Awww…” Jeonghan pouted and Chan chuckled at his hyungs behavior. “Did she stay with Jihoon?”

“Yeah, I told her Mingyu invited us to dinner. I asked if she wanted to come along but she said she would eat with Jihoon.”

“She can eat with us next time!” Chan said positively in hopes Jeonghan would cheer up.

“That's true, thanks.” He smiled and gave his baby a few pats on the head, to which the baby pouted.

“Do either of you two need to shower?” Won Woo asked after they were inside.

“Me.” Chan raised his hand.

“Do you want to take it separate or together?” Because they were both guys and Chan was like his little brother!

“Separate.” He said nervously. It seemed like Won Woo and Jeonghan weren't expecting that answer.

“Alright, go ahead.” Won Woo gestured for him to go first.

“Thanks, hyung!” Chan said before running to the bathroom.

“Oh my god, he grew up. He doesn't want to show with us anymore.” Jeonghan sounded so hurt!

“I forgot my clothes.” Chan came running back into the room and opened his suitcase to pull out a change of clothes before he ran back to the bathroom. The door shut and the heard him lock it.

“Yeah, he definitely grew up.” Won Woo chuckled when he saw Jeonghan fall onto the couch face first and wailed like he lost something precious. His baby.

“All I have is Soo Min to shower with now!”

“Don't say that in front of me, ert.” Won Woo scoffed before taking his luggage to his room to unpack. He needed something to do other than listening to Jeonghan’s melodrama.

While he was unpacking, he remembered losing his bracelet and sighed. I wish I could've found it. Despite Mingyu was right, it was still hard to let go of that bracelet.

“Are you okay?” He heard Jeonghan at his doorway. He only looked up at him for a few seconds before letting his head drop again. It was clear that he didn't seem okay. “What's wrong?” The older asked in hopes he'd get an answer. He didn't get anything in reply. He refrained from letting out a sigh before leaving back to the living room.

Why doesn't he ever talk to me? He thought bitterly. During one of the pit stops on the way home, he and Mingyu had another talk while Won Woo was occupied with the bathroom and picking out snacks with Mingyu's friends. He heard about what happened at the convenience store and he heard about Won Woo being more open with him lately.

It was a little frustrating since Jeonghan has been around longer than Mingyu has, he wondered why they were treated so differently? What did I do? What’s the real reason why he hate me?

“Hyung?” He heard Chan ask. “Were you going to wash up too?”

“No, I'm fine. I have dry shampoo in my bag.” He assured the younger before they heard Won Woo come out of his room with his change of clothes in his hand. He mentioned he was going to take his shower now and the other two nodded in reply.

“Are you okay?” Chan was worried. “You seem bothered. Did something happen while I was in the bathroom?”

“No, it's nothing. Don't worry about it.” Jeonghan assured him once more with a forced smile. The last thing he wanted to do was vent to little Chan. “I'll help you with your hair.” He smiled while gesturing for him to come CLOSER.

A lot of authors tend to cringe and get embarrassed over their past works... Then there's me, laughing my off as if I didn't write this myself lol

Chapter 146: Welcome back back

Ohhhhhhh all the tea is dropping one by one. Soo Min if your pregnant, it’s going to be great news and protective Wonwoon + Jihoon 😎😎 Jeonghan might be toasted lol Ren is going to be that “BIG DEAL”

The parents need to stop acting up and forgive one another. Be happy for the sake of your kids and rekindle with all the kids plus Rina.

Chapter 142: 😢 Our deepest sympathy to the Jeons of course.
As far as the continuation I think it would be ok since you will be updating a few months from now. Right now it would seem a little weird, but I don't think it will be bad later. Go with your heart though.
