Chapter 21

The drive was silent until Leo pulled up to a decent looking restaurant. “What are we doing here?” "Eat first before heading back.” Leo explained, not exactly looking at N. Everything was hella awkward. “No it’s fin--” At that moment N’s stomach decided to deny N. Loudly. Embarrassed he looked up at Leo was now looking bemusedly at him. “Let’s go.” 
After getting seated and placing their orders, the tension returned with full force. N was now feeling a bit guilty too. Sure he was in a mess but Leo wasn’t to be blamed for his rather…..tense relation with his father. He decided that he also owed an apology to the man in front of him. He cleared his throat and started.
“Uhhh…Taekwoon?” Leo looked at N in question “Umm…I…I’m sorry too. I went too far and made a mess….I shouldn’t have…” N couldn’t directly meet Leo’s eyes so he opted to look at his glass of water instead “That you did.” Leo’s comment made N glare at him with a pouty expression to which he tried very hard to not smile. “I’m apologizing!” “It’s okay…what’s done is done.” Leo couldn’t help himself from teasing N. N just made a stank face before asking again “So uhh…is it taken care of? I mean, the stock selling and all...” “Yes, thankfully I managed it without letting your father know. Although I’m sure he knows it by now.”  “......That’s a relief! So I guess we’re even then.” N’s tone went back to being cheery to which Leo raised an eyebrow “I mean, we both were wrong and we both also apologized plus---” N was cut off as the waitress brought their food and a moment later, all N remembered was his empty stomach and the delicious looking steak in front of him, conversation forgotten. Leo also didn’t seem to mind the silence again and concentrated on his own food. 
“This is good!” N exclaimed after chewing a bite, Leo just nodded not bothering to speak. For the next ten minutes, there was only the sound of cutlery clanking on their plates before N noticed a little bit of sauce from pasta on the corner of Leo’s lip. For a moment N kept staring at Leo’s lips and swallowed, even though he had just drunk some water, his mouth felt dry. It hadn’t even been an hour since Leo had…they had kissed…again. N ran his tongue over his lips and it was almost as if he could still feel the softness of Leo’s lips on his own. He wasn’t gonna lie to himself; he would it again in a heartbeat if given a chance. “Hakyeon!” N recognized his name and snapped out of his ‘Leo-lips’ trance to see Leo staring at him weirdly. Quickly, to cover up N acted which itself wasn’t such a good idea. “You have some…there” N didn’t know where he was pointing himself which confused Leo. “What?” “Aish! Come here…” N leaned up from his seat a bit towards Leo, eyes on his lips. Not a good idea…this is a really bad idea…But N’s heart was beating to
