I sat myself on my bed lifelessly and looked up when Irene got out from the bathroom, she only wore bathrobe and I looked away when she tries to put on her clothes.

“who’s calling?” she asked me after she put on her clothes and sat on my lap.

“it’s my grandma..” I Hanged low my head.

“what happened? Why are you looking so troubled like this?” she lifted my head and cupped my cheeks.

“my sister got involved in a major car accidents.” She gave me a hug with her hand patting my back and another one caressing my hairs. “You need to come and see her then” her voice was calm but stern, it’s like a command not a suggestion.

“But.. you’re going to be sick and if I leave who’s gonna take care of you?” Irene is one of my priority right now. Look at her, her nose is getting red ad her body temper is rising. I can’t just leave her like this.. but Taeyeon is my sister and she’s in a critical state. What should I do?

“hey, don’t worry about me okay? I’m going to be fine, just go and see your sister yoojae.” She pulled out from our hug and gave me a reassuring smile.

“but.. joohyun-ah” It’s really hard for me to leave her like this,

“Kim Yoojae! It’s okay, Just leave me. I promised, I’ll be alright.” I sigh, indicating that I give up on winning this debate.  

“Fine, just eat the medicines properly and no skipping meals! Okay?” she nodded and move to the empty side beside me.

I don’t know but I sense a glint of guilty in her eyes when I said I love her. “Good night yoojae.” She tighten her grip around me and just like that we end the gloomy night.
