Months passed in a blink of an eye. So many things have happened and all of us kind of grew up a little. Thinking back the year in high school, if I hadn’t know Jin Ah and B1A4, my life would really . But then again, there were so much tears and people who left. I shoved those disheartening thoughts to the back of my mind and grinned at my reflection in the tall mirror.

“Yah what are you thinking again? Kissing Jinyoung?” Jin Ah was suddenly behind me tickling and teasing me with a wide grin across her face. She looked as gorgeous as ever or even more beautiful. Sandeul must be so happy. I couldn’t help but give her a big bear hug. She gasped and patted my back.

“What’s wrong Ji Hye-ie?” I could feel her worried tone in her voice. I just shook my head and hugged her a little tighter. She giggled and pushed me away slowly.

“Yah you’re messing up your dress.” She tugged the edges of my white dress. It was different than the baby pink one I wore last year. This time, Ji Hyo gave me her wedding dress as a gift.

“I think you will look gorgeous in it!” I could still remember her excited face when she tried to force me into it.

My shoulders were bare and I couldn’t help but want to pull on a cardigan but Jin Ah insisted that I shouldn’t. The dress gave off a rather princess feel, it didn’t looked too much like a wedding dress with the lace and big ribbon around my waist.

“What’s the theme for this year?” I asked remembering the secret date with Jinyoung in the back garden. I could still remember how magical he looked like under the moonlight. Time really flies.

“I don’t know. It’s like a tradition to keep the theme a secret isn’t it?” She shrugged while applying her pink glossy lip gloss.

“Yah, what if your stepmom is there again?” She looked sudden startled.

“I don’t care anymore. I’m graduating in weeks and I’ll move out.” I ran my fingers through my long straight hair and rolled my eyes at the thought of finally escaping the clutches of that witch and her two horrible daughters. Jinyoung liked my hair, he refused to let me cut it and insisted that I kept it long. He only allowed me to trim it. Since when he is nanny of my hair?

“We’re ready!” Jin Ah rose from her seat with her freshly curled hair. With a bright smile she pulled me out of the house.

Jinyoung and the rest were already waiting by the entrance. Jinyoung in his white suit, he looked totally like a statue carved out of marvel. He dyed his hair a shade of copper brown and it looked slightly red under the lamps. He was almost stunned at the sight of me. Am I hideous? He looked as though he was going suppressing something in his throat. I was about to smile at him but he cupped my face as I took another step towards him. That sent a sudden electric feeling down my spine and I almost shivered.

“W..what?” I was stuttering already.

“You… are…” He was speaking between deep breaths.

“Ugly?” I frowned and found his hands tighter around my cheekbones.

“Perfect.” He smiled as brightly as the run and pecked the tip of my nose. I felt my cheeks flushed.

“EHEM. EHEM EHEM. People around okay EHEM.” That was Baro who was glaring left and right with a smirk, avoiding the sight of us deliberately.

“I came prepared, these people are too much!” Gongchan, suddenly wearing a pair of shades, pointed accusingly towards Sandeul and Jin Ah who was enjoying a little moment of their own and then at us. He was slight bearing his teeth.

I chuckled and my eyes flickered to Shinwoo, and I smiled while he did. He was still gentle and soft spoken in public. I was kind of relieved that we were in such an awkward situation anymore, of course after weeks of Min Hee’s death.

Shinwoo called me one night wanting to meet in the park near my house. I went with an uneasy heart but I was wrong.

“I know how you’re feeling right now. Look, Ji Hye as long as you’re happy I will be. I won’t ruin your relationship with Jinyoung anymore.”

I could still remember the look on his face. It wasn’t sorrow or pained. It was kind of a relieved expression – like a burden off his shoulders.

“Please don’t take it to heart of what I’ve done or said to you in my apartment. I was too impulsive. I’ve seen how Jinyoung looks at you and how you looked at him. I’ve already knew that I could never be the one. I’m sorry Ji Hye. Will you forgive me.”

I was taken aback and stumped for a few seconds. Then finally I stretched out a hand towards him.

“Friends?” I smiled. Then he took my hand in his.

“Shall we go beautiful?” Jinyoung’s voice sounded as melodious as always and I blinked a few times before pulling Shinwoo’s arm along too.

“Not performing tonight?” I asked while we headed towards the queue.

“Nah. We are too famous now.” Jinyoung chuckled a sound even more pleasant than the sound of chimes. That’s right. After their win in the Battle of the Bands, they rose to fame. Though they have yet to sign the contract.

“I heard you guys decided to add another term in the contract?”

“That’s right!” Baro turned around hearing my question.

“And that is?”

“TO HAVE GIRLFRIENDS!” That was Gongchan, sudden excited for a particular obvious reasons.

“Really?!” Jin Ah squeaked tugging at Sandeul’s arm. He nodded slightly and twirled a strand of curled hair in his own finger.

I stared at Jinyoung. I didn’t know how my expression was, but Jinyoung’s expression was smooth and shot me a quick wink.

Thank god. I whispered under my breathe hoping no one would hear me. But I think both Shinwoo and Jinyoung did because they chuckled at the same time.

“She will be mine if you take a second off her.” Shinwoo teased with a playful smirk.

“No. can’t you see she’s all over me?” Jinyoung rebutted with another proud smirk across his perfect cheeks.

“YAH!” and I elbowed the both of them as they flinched. I chuckled.

“IT’S LOVERS’ NIGHT!” They were giving out roses this time.

“Yahh unfair. I don’t even have a lover.” Gongchan pouted while taking the rose.

“How about me?” Baro jerked a thumb towards himself, only to have a disgusted expression from Gongchan.

“May you find love tonight and May your love last forever.” The guy said to all of us while we left for the ballroom.

“We will.” I replied looking at Jinyoung who moved forward with his trademark dazzling smile, leaning his forehead against mine he whispered softly.

“We will.”
