Oh my god...it's been such a long time since I last updated the story. I've been occupied by loads of homework and quizzes recently and I finally got rid of most of them this week so I finally have some time for my story.

Hopefully u guys didn't already forget my story. Don't abandon me~~

By the way I have no idea what I should put in the title... so it's a random title...

So here's today's update. Enjoy~

Woohyun was holding the letter in his hand. He glared at the words over and over again.

Woohyun, there’s the photo of the girl attached with this letter. Take a good look. You would definitely love her.

He felt his rage building up in his chest as the time he glared at the letter increased. That. Was. Insane. Without taking a look at the photo, he crushed the letter and the photo inside into a ball, crushing it as hard as he could, and threw the ball of paper across the room.

“Why are you doing this to me!” Woohyun growled to release his rage, though there was no one listening to him. He sank into his seat, recalling the phone call he received from his parents a month ago.

Woohyun was shocked when he saw the caller’s id. He never expected her to call him at this time, on this day. It was neither his birthday, nor Christmas or New Year. His subconsciousness told him that there would be something unexpected that he was going to receive from the call. His gut predicted that something wrong may come out from it as well. Trembling, Woohyun pressed the button without confidence and put the phone near his ear.

“Hello?” Woohyun answered.

“Hi, my son. It’s been a long time since I’ve called, right? How’s your day when your dad and I are not here?” A female voice could be heard. Although what the woman said was nice, Woohyun couldn’t feel any positive emotion from it. He knew that the words were just some kind of cliché to start the conversation.

“Fine. Just get to the point.” Woohyun answered nonchalantly. He knew that this woman, who was his mother, even she was his biological mother, as well as his father, would not care his well-being here.

“Well, if you insist.” The woman changed his tone suddenly to an intimidating one. “So, I’ve heard some rumors from the school, concerning your recent acquaintances. Do you meet someone new recently?”

“It’s my business. And may I ask what rumors were circulating at the school?” Woohyun was unconcerned about this whole stuff. It was just a rumor. What’s the big deal? Woohyun knew that her mother had been monitoring his life since she didn’t want Woohyun’s image as he claimed, or in fact rather the family’s image, to be polluted by any scandalous rumors.

“I didn’t want to mention that. It’s hideous and to some point revolting. I believe that the one who circulated this rumor had exaggerated a lot. But anyway, the rumor was about you and a guy you met called…um…I forgot his name. I remember that the name ended with Gyu. Oh wait, it’s Sunggyu I think. It’s a waste of time to recall this grimy name.”

Sunggyu. Woohyun shuddered as he heard the name. How did she know the name? So the rumor is about Sunggyu? He gritted his teeth and felt particularly irritated when he heard his mother calling Sunggyu a grimy name. He felt the need to defend for what he thought it was important. “Who I am befriending with, that’s none of your business.”

“No, don’t be silly, Woohyun. That’s totally my business, our family’s business.” His mother replied him coldly. “Because of him, you have been involved in a filthy rumor. I know you just got close to him not long ago, so your relationship should not be that close. Just leave him and don’t go near him. He’s not good for you.”

“I don’t care what you’re saying, but I think I have the choice to choose who I’m befriending with.” Woohyun defended.

“No. Unlike Hoya and Myungsoo, whom our family was familiar with and we trust, this Sunggyu guy cannot be trusted. Plus, his social status was too low to be comparable with us. His family barely made a living with their really low income. Also, there’s the scandal about you and him doing some indecent thing. Well, he’s a male and it’s totally unacceptable for a guy to do this to you. So drop him, Woohyun. For your own bright future. You’re going to be taking care of our hospital when you grow up, so you need to have a clean profile with your acquaintances matching your status.”

“What?! Did you do a background search on Sunggyu?” Woohyun found it outrageous. This time, his mother was too much.

“Of course honey. That’s all for your own good. So final order, drop this guy or we don’t know what we would do.” His mother gave out her final decision, as usual, without listening to Woohyun, before she changed her tone to a brighter one again. “So, Woohyun. You’ll be graduating soon right? After graduating from high school, you’ll be going to medical school. By that time, I think you need to have a person who could assist you emotionally and physically, if possible. That person should be able to take care of you for life as well. So, there’s someone in our mind that may suit this characteristic.”

“What are you talking about?” Woohyun was still furious about what his mother said about Sunggyu.

“You are going to be engaged with the daughter of the head of the Ministry of Health and Welfare.” His mother replied. “We have talked to his father, and we agreed on this engagement. We think you two can first be engaged after you’ve graduated from high school. And then get married after you’ve graduated from the medical school. Oh by the way, her daughter would be graduating from high school next year and entering medical school as well. How suited she was to you.”

“What?! I’m not going to be engaged to someone just because you want to link relationship with some head officials. You’re not going to be dominating on my life!” Woohyun cut the line immediately after he had shouted out the words in his mind. He was just frustrated that his parents were always pushing him to do what they wanted him to do.

“Aish!” Woohyun furiously threw the phone across the room, and lied on the bed, trying to forget the previous conversation.

---

“Hey, Hyemi-ah. How’s your –“ Woohyun was screening the living room while patting on Hyemi’s head. But he couldn’t see Sunggyu. “Where’s your oppa?”

“He’s out. He’s not coming back
