In Your EyesShe walked alone. Her feet dragging her to the pit of hell, some may call a 'school'. The hallways were something she had feared; every single day of walking through the crowded paths, different combinations of horrible nicknames from days before were thrown at her. It was as if they treated her like a robot. No emotions. And that's what she gave them. The girl had grown accustomed to the school life which consisted of being bullied, learning, bullied and going home.
No, it wasn't physical. She would have retaliated if it was, then more rumours would have erupted and rumours from before would be considered to be true... when they weren't. What rumours are ever true?
In actual fact she was so confused about why she had been bullied. It was their last year of high school and she had endured it for three years. Was it because of the way she had changed drastically on the second year- she came in wearing all black and her previous soft brunette hair was overpowered by the black dye. No one recognised her. But once they found out that it was her behind the black frames of her non-graded glasses, that was when rumours began. Girls in the toilets would be re-applying their already caked up faces catching up on gossip; she was inside a cubicle when her ears perked up at the mention of her name.
"I heard her boyfriend dumped her during the summer, that's why she's gone all depressed and stuff."
It was true, she had a boyfriend on the first year. It was true that they did break up, but it was a mutual decision because he was moving to Australia with his grandparents. It was also true that she had "gone all depressed and stuff", that summer was truly a bad one for her and had ended with her being alone.
She would classify each student into five different categories: the jerks, their fangirls, the crowd follower, the quiet ones (whom would console her with a soft pat on the shoulder once in a while) and her. Obviously, she would
