"No way." Hyukjae paled. 

Donghae his lips, a newfound nervousness consuming him. 

Before the duo, the Grandfathers beamed. Their hands held two boxes, matching in patterns, blue and pink. 

"That can't be -" 

"- what I'm thinking." Hae finished, blinking. "Can it?" 

"Matching couple pajamas! Happy wedding!" "Go, go! Try them on!" 

And thus, five minutes later, emerged a blushing Donghae followed by a fuming Hyukjae. Albeit being in rage 99% of the time for unvalid reasons, at that exact moment Lee Hyukjae, poor poor Lee Hyukjae, did have a reason. A quite obvious reason, may I add. 

"Burn it." 

The Grandfathers burst into laughter, then hysterics - knee slaps and snorting included. 

Whereas Donghae looked cute and cuddly in his perfect fit of blue pajama, Hyukjae's ran far too short in their bright pink glory. On the pocket, the name Hae was embroidered flamboyantly. 

"You look like a doll, Hae." Snickering, Grandfather added. "You too, Hyuk-ah." 

Hyukjae sulked the rest of the night. 

The household where Hyukjae had ran terror and chaos months prior, had become serene. Grandfather Lee couldn't fathom how a reckless boy had changed to such extent, to a man in mere months. 

"Let's get going, we'll be late." Hyuk's scolding could be heard - targetted to a particular man who constantly took too long to get ready - as he descended the flight of stairs. For the first time in years, he had dressed in the complete dress code. He had even removed his plethora of earrings. 

"You look clean, my boy." 

Hyuk cocked a brow at his grandfather in amusement. 

"I mean, you've cleaned up your act quite well young man. You look handsome." 

Avoiding the blush spreading across his cheeks, Hyukjae snorted. "I get it from my mom." 

"Punk, you're supposed to say you get it from me." 

Hyukjae didn't answer, for Donghae had finally emerged from the bathroom. Grabbing his car keys, pulling along a cranky Donghae, he was out the door the next minute. 

"They act like they've been married for years." Jungsoo commented, plating pancakes for the two men. 

"That's how you know they're destined." Grandpa Lee merely mused.

"Don't I look handsome?" 

In midst of the morning rush, Donghae had skipped his dose of coffee. The hour ungodly, his mind still half asleep, he answered without a care for filter. "You always do." 

Hyuk blinked.

One second, two seconds; it took three seconds for Donghae to realize his blunder. He gasped, dramatically covering his mouth. 

"You're always muttering your true feelings in your sleep yet you act like a macho man when you're awake." 

"Shut up." 

"There's no use pretending. Whether you say you like me or not, it doesn't change the fact that we're married. On top of that, it's only my name you're screaming in bed so -" 

"- STOP." Donghae screamed, blushing beet red. The car pulled to the curb as Hyuk snickered. Donghae unlocked his own door, grabbed his backpack and exited the car without a second look back. 

"Don't forget our date tonight! Eight p.m. sharp, Lee!" Hyuk yelled, earning the attention of passerbys around. 

Donghae cursed even more at the unwanted attention, picking up his pace and running off. 

"You've been gone two weeks and you come back a whole different person." Minho gawked. 

"Since when do you wear uniform." Hoya wondered. "I'm hurt." 

Hyuk chuckled, rolling his eyes. "I figured, why not spend the last three weeks of high school as a good student and make some people proud." 

Minho raised a brow knowingly. "And which people would that be?" 

Hyuk grinned, smitten. He shrugged. "Just some people."
