Finally Jessi's past revealed for you all........

This is a cemetery. Why would Jessi give me the address for a cemetery. She must of given me the wrong address, thought Sooyoung.

Just as Sooyoung was thinking about leaving, she saw Jessica approaching her car. She got out to greet her.

Without saying a word Jessica wrapped her arms tightly around Sooyoung not wanting to let go.

"Jessi, why are we meeting at a cemetery?" asked Sooyoung.

But when Jessica pulled out of the hug, Sooyoung saw the distressed look on her face. Soo could tell Jessi had been crying for a long time because her eyes were red and swollen.

Sooyoung then pulled Jessica back in for a hug and rubbed her back gently.

"It's okay, I'm here for you Jessi."

Jessica burst out crying so Sooyoung held her tighter. After five minutes Jessica managed to stop herself crying. She grabbed Sooyoung's hand and walked her over to a bench seat at the cemetery entrance.

They sat down close to each other before Jessica reached into her backpack and grabbed a large envelope out.

"I want to show you a photo of my family." Jessica said as she pulled out a large photo from the envelope and then handed it to Sooyoung.

"That's my Mum, Dad and my sister Krystal." 

Sooyoung remembered Seungyeon mentioning how Jessi had called out Krystal's name in her nightmares. Soo just thought it was another ex girlfriend of Jessica's she never thought about her being Jessi's sister.

Sooyoung took a good look at the photo. "You have a beautiful family and you look so much like your Mum."

She looked at Jessica but her chin was quivering trying to stop herself from crying again.

"Jessi please just tell me what we're doing here. It's killing me to see you so upset like this." Sooyoung said as she grabbed hold of Jessica's hand and it.

Jessica wiped a tear from her face. "I knew you'd want to know about my family. So I wanted you to come here because.......(sob)......... this is where my..........(sob)......... family is."

Oh my god no, my poor Jessi, thought Sooyoung. She then pulled Jessica's head into her chest and wrapped her arms around her.

After a while Jessica pulled out of Sooyoung's embrace and grabbed hold of Soo's hand tightly.

"So I want to tell you about the night my life changed forever." Jessica said in a stronger voice trying to be more composed so that she could let Sooyoung know what happened.

Sooyoung just looked at her with caring eyes trying not to breakdown crying herself.

"So my family, Minyoung and I had been out celebrating at my cousin's 21st birthday party and when we all left I was going to go home with my family because I had to start work early the next day."

"But when I was saying goodbye to Minyoung, she talked me in to spending the night at her house. I went back to let my family know that I would be staying at Minyoung's house for the night and...... I ..... (sob)...... I said goodbye ....... (sob)... to them and ........."

"I got into the car........ with Minyoung. We pulled up behind my family at a set of traffic lights on..... the way ......(sob)....home."

"I still remember when we were..........stopped for the red ...... (sob) ...... light..... Krystal turned her head around......(sob)..... and waved to us from the back seat."

"And then the light turned green.........(sob)...... and my life......(sob)......... changed for ever.......(sob)...... in an instant."

"Dad drove off because the light was green then...... BANG!......" Jessica brokedown and burried her head in her hands.

Sooyoung rested her head gently on top of Jessica's head. Soo had her own stream of tears flowing now as well.

With her head still buried in her hands she continued to tell Sooyoung what happened.

"Some drunk driver drove his car through a red light and crashed....... into my family's car....... I screamed louder then I've ever screamed before....but."

"Their car just rolled......(sob)... and rolled and rolled........ (sob)........ I ran as fast as I could to them........ (sob)...... it was too late........."

"......(sob)..... they were already........(sob).......gone... just like that.......(sob)... one second I had a happy family.....(sob).... the next second they were all........dead........(sob)..."

"It should of been me too......(sob)... I should of been in the car with them......(sob)...... we all should of died together...........(sob)........why did I have to live.........(sob).....Why.......I wanted to die with them that night too.....(sob)... Why did I have to live......."

Sooyoung then pulled Jessica's hands away from her face.

"It breaks my heart to hear what happened to your family but.......... I'm glad you weren't in the car with them. If you were in that car ..... I would never of met you." Sooyoung said.

"Don't say that!!" Jessica said as she got up and started to walk through the cemetery.

"Why, why can't I say that." Sooyoung called out.

"There shouldn't be anything positive come from my family's death. So don't say that!!"

Sooyoung raced after her then stood in front of her.

"I love you and I'm so happy you weren't it that car." said Sooyoung.

"Stop it!! Stop saying that!" Jessica yelled then she pushed Sooyoung out of her way and continued walking.

Sooyoung just stood there for a while before taking off after Jessi again. But just before she reached her, Jessica collapsed to her knees and looked towards some gravestones.

Sooyoung looked at them and read the names engraved and realized that the three consecutive gravestones were Jessica's family. 

Sooyoung then knelt down next to Jessica.

"Mummy, Daddy, Krystal this is Sooyoung." Jessica said still with tears.

"She's my girlfriend. Guess what Mum...... Sooyoung's favourite flower is the same as yours."

"Hi." said Sooyoung. She really didn't know what else to say.

"The empty plot next to Krystal is for me." Jessica stood up and moved closer to the gravestones.

"I should be with you already. I'm so sorry I got to live. I want to be with you, I really wish I was dead right now and burried next to you."

"NO!!!!." Sooyoung yelled out at her.

Jessica spun her head around and stared at her angrily.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm yelling at you because you're making me so angry right now. It's fine for you to wish you were still with your family but how about you wish that they were still alive with you right now instead of wishing you were dead with them, huh Jessi. Why don't you try that." Sooyoung said angrily.

"What is wrong with you. Do you have no respect for my family that has passed on."

"Yes I do have respect for them. Hello again Jessi's Mum, Dad, Krystal. I'm just thinking if Jessica could hear you all speak right now. I think you'd be wanting to tell her that she still has a life to live."

"And that she was given a chance that unfortunately you all weren't and instead of wishing her life away and telling you that she wants to be dead. I bet you would love for her to accept the fact that she's still alive and that she should start living her life to the fullest."

"As her family I'm guessing you would want her to find happiness again and for her to start moving forward with all three of you as her inspiration rather than her living a life full of regret that she didn't die with you."

"ENOUGH!!!." Jessica yelled.

"No, you need to realize how lucky you are to be alive, stop wishing yourself dead!!!" Sooyoung yelled.

"Stop telling me what I should be feeling. You have no idea how I'm feeling." said Jessica.

"You're right I have no idea what you went through that horrible night or just how much it still hurts you to this day but I do know that you wishing you were dead breaks my heart. Because when you say that, it's an insult to your family that have already passed on."

"And what I also hear you saying is that you wish you didn't have the opportunity to meet me and that you wished we didn't have a chance to fall in love and that you would be happy for me to leave right now because I'm still alive and you would rather be dead." Sooyoung said as she walked off.

Sooyoung wasn't trying to be selfish. She actually had said that to try and get Jessica to realize how lucky she was to still be alive and that she shouldn't spend the rest of her life wishing she was dead.

"I know, I know...... she's right isn't she." Jessica said talking to the gravestones.

"She means so much to me and I don't want to lose her. She really wants me to be happy again but what she doesn't realize is from the very first day I met her, my heart started to open again."

"But coming to see you all for the first time in a very long time, I thought it would be disrespectful if you saw I was actually feeling happy again. But I am feeling happy again, and that girl walking away from me right now is the reason I found love again."

"Something I never thought I wanted to find again because of losing all of you. Yet somehow she found a way through my brick wall. I finally feel alive again and I hope you all do understand when I say that I don't really want to be dead anymore."

"She makes my life worth living again and I know she's right with what she said before because I'm sure you would all prefer me to make somthing of my life instead of wishing my life away, right?"

"And right now I really need to apologize to my beautiful girlfriend and get her to come back and spend some more time with you. I'll be back." 

Jessica stood up and looked for Sooyoung. She had nearly reached the carpark. Jessica ran after her as fast as she could but she didn't want Sooyoung to get into her car and leave. So she yelled very loudly.

"Sooyoung, please come back. I don't want you to leave."

Sooyoung stopped and turned around.

"I love you. Please come back and spend some more time with my family. Please Soo." Jessica pleaded.

Sooyoung started running back towards Jessica. When she got closer Jessi opened her arms out and Sooyoung joined her for a long hug.

"I am happy to be alive because I have you. I didn't mean to hurt you with my words before. I just thought it would be wrong to show my family just how happy I am now when their lives are over but you're right, of course my family would want me to be happy. Thanks for helping me see things more clearly." said Jessica.

"Would you come back with me to see my family?" Jessica asked.

"Yes, can I tell them the story about how everyone at the hospital calls you Ice cream and how I came up with the name?" asked Sooyoung.

Jessica smiled. "Yes I'm sure they would think it's funny."

They spent the next hour together talking to Jessica's family. Sooyoung knew that this was good progress for Jessica to be laughing and showing her happiness in front of her family's gravestones.

The two of them said their farewells to the gravestones then walked hand in hand towards Sooyoung's car. 

"Soo there's somewhere else I wanted to take you as well."

Sooyoung then drove them to Jessica's family house. When they arrived Soo couldn't help but me amazed by their luxurious mansion. Jessica gave Soo a complete tour of the house.

Jessica shed some tears along the way when she talked about some of the great times she had shared with her family there. 

"So this is where I stayed last night. Before that the last time I was here was on the day I got hospitalized over a year ago."

"That day I told our house maid that I was going to be away for a long time. So I gave her two years worth of wages but I had no idea that I was going to end up in hospital that day. I was just planning to disappear some place where nobody knew me for a long time."

"But instead I ended up collapsing on the street because I hadn't been able to get barely any sleep since the car accident and my body obviously couldn't take it any longer."

"Once I realized that the Doctor's had no idea who I was well I shut myself down even more. I mean it felt like I had nothing left to live for so that's why I didn't talk to anyone and because they had me in a wheelchair for the first two weeks after it happened I just refused to walk after that."

"I knew that I would be looked after in the hospital and I thought if they didn't know who I was then they would keep me there forever. I didn't even have to think, I just did nothing."

"So you saw it as a chance to escape from the real world?" Sooyoung asked.

"Yes, I didn't want to feel anymore and in hospital I wasn't attached to anyone so it was easy for me to detach from everyone and everything and not have to feel anymore."

"But when I got moved to your hospital, well that all changed didn't it because I met this incredibly beautiful nurse that let me throw things at her." Jessica smiled.

Sooyoung smiled at her.

"So how come none of your friends came looking for you?" 

"Because I told them I would be going away for a long time. So they would of had no idea I was in hospital."

"What about Minyoung, How come you broke up with her?" Sooyoung asked.

"Because I blamed her for me not dying that night with my family. If she hadn't of begged me to come back to her place I would of been in the car with them."

"Jessi, her asking you to go to her place saved your life. You should be thanking her."

"Back then and before I met you. I really did want to die that night with them. So I guess that decision did save my life but I didn't want to acknowledge that back then."

"So you broke up with her for that. She must of been devastated."

"Yes she took it hard but I was also angry at her because she never got out of the car after the accident she just sat there. Sure my family was already dead but she could of at least got out to see if they needed help."

"But she was probably in shock. Everyone reacts differently to shock and she obviously felt like she couldn't move. So you were both really happy together before the accident?"

"Yes we were happy but that was in the past and I guess sometimes things happen for a reason and clearly it wasn't meant to be for Minyoung and I."

When Sooyoung was in the kitchen she noticed some phone numbers being held by magnets on the fridge. She saw Minyoung's number and and added it to her contact list on her phone while Jessi was in the toilet.

Jessica decided they should start driving home so they could get back to the hospital before it got dark.

Sooyoung was so happy that Jessica had completely opened up her life to her but  she also felt so devastated that Jessi had lost her family and that's why she had been having her horrible nightmares.

She couldn't help but feel bad for Minyoung. Jessica broke up with her for reasons that seemed so right for Jessi back then but Soo couldn't help but wonder if the two of them saw each other again would they want to get back together.

Sooyoung kept thinking about that saying : If you love someone set them free, if they come back they're yours, if they don't they were never yours in the first place. I need to think about what's best for Jessi not what's best for me. Should I set her free, thought Sooyoung..............
