Nobody's POV

I think I can have some real fun with this nurse. Maybe hospital life won't be so boring anymore, thought Jessica.

"Anyway it's time for you to head back up to your room now. Would you like me to take you back to your room or would you like me to get a hospital orderly to take you back there?" asked Sooyoung.

Jessica pointed at Sooyoung to take her back up.

"Oh you'd like me to take you back up?" Sooyoung asked.

Jessica nodded her head.

"Okay then." Sooyoung smiled.

Sooyoung was so happy that her patient wanted her to take her back to her room. Maybe she doesn't hate me after all, thought Sooyoung.

She pushed her wheelchair back into the hospital. She then went into the lift and headed to the second floor. They exited the lift and headed to Jessica's room.

All the rooms at the rehabilitation hospital were private. So every patient had their own room. Each room having it's own bathroom in it as well.

"Okay so your file says you're in room 62." Sooyoung said as she pushed her towards her room.

She held the door open while Jessica wheeled herself into her room.

"Wow, your room has one of the best views, you get to see the gardens. Don't you think the view is beautiful out your window?" asked Sooyoung.

Jessica pushed her wheelchair towards the window and had a look at the view. She then looked at Sooyoung and nodded her head in agreement with her.

"Maybe I could come and have my lunch break with you sometimes. We could sit at this table and look at the view while we're eating. I mean if you wanted me to of course." Sooyoung said.

Jessica nodded her head at her.

"So I can come and visit you for lunch sometime?" asked Sooyoung.

Jessica nodded her head again at Sooyoung to agree with what she was saying.

I'm amazed that she doesn't mind me coming to have lunch with her. I mean the view is lovely but I actually only asked her because I want to try to get to know her better.

"I should really catch up with some of my other patient's now. If you need me for anything just press that button." Sooyoung said as she pointed to the button.

She waved goodbye to Jessica and just as she was about to open the door to leave, Sooyoung's pager went off. She checked it immediately in case a patient needed her urgently. But when she looked at the pager it said that it was room '62' that pressed the button.

She walked back towards Jessica.

"You wanted me." said Sooyoung.

When Sooyoung looked at Jessica's face she was smiling cheekily.

"So you're going to be a cheeky one hey. You think that was just as funny as throwing tennis balls at me. right?" asked Sooyoung.

Jessica nodded her head and smiled at Sooyoung.

Sooyoung couldn't help but smile too.

"Well I really need to go. I'll come see you later." said Sooyoung.

Sooyoung kept herself busy with her other patient's. But when the lunch time meals were getting delivered to the patient's, Sooyoung's pager went off. It was for room 62.

So she made her way to Jessica's room again. She knocked then walked in.

"Hi there, you wanted me for something?" asked Sooyoung.

Jessica was sitting in her wheelchair at the table. She pointed to her lunch then back at Sooyoung.

"Oh you want me to try some of your lunch?" she asked.

Jessica shook her head and pointed to the seat then the lunch.

"Do you want me to sit in here and have lunch with you today?"

Jessica nodded her head then smiled.

I like this nurse she seems like she wants to spend time with me and well I really would like to know a bit more about her even if she does talk a lot, thought Jessica.

"Okay I'll just go get my lunch and bring it back here." Sooyoung smiled.

I really didn't think she'd want to have lunch with me today. This is great, I feel like I'm getting at least somewhere with her even if it's not far, Sooyoung thought to herself.

Once she grabbed her lunch she headed back to room 62. She joined Jessica at the table and began eating her lunch.

"You'll be happy to know that I don't talk much while I'm eating because I'm to busy stuffing my face." Sooyoung smiled.

Jessica smiled at her.

When Sooyoung finished eating. She started talking again.

"Be prepared for another story tomorrow because I can't believe you didn't laugh at my story today." Sooyoung smiled.

Jessica smiled back.

"Thank you for letting me eat my lunch here so I could look at this beautiful view and spend some more time with you." said Sooyoung.

Sooyoung packed up her rubbish then stood up.

"I need to get back to work now. Would you like me to come and see you before I finish work this afternoon?"

Jessica nodded her head.

"Okay then I'll make sure I see you before I finish work."

Sooyoung spent the rest of the day with her other patient's. When she had ten minutes left before she finished work. She asked one of her other patient's if she could have one of the bright yellow sunflower's that were sitting in a vase. The patient was happy for her to take one.

She then went to visit her new patient before she finished work for the day. She knocked on the door then walked in to find Jessica lying on her bed watching TV.

"Hi, I'm just about to finish work for the day. So I came to see you one more time before I leave. Because you're my new patient I thought you might like this." she then handed Jessica the bright yellow sunflower.

Jessica accepted the flower but within seconds of holding it she began to tear up.

"I'm sorry, if you don't like it I can just take it away." said Sooyoung with concern.

A beautiful sunflower, my Mum's favourite flower. I wish she was still here with me. I miss you so much Mummy, Jessica thought to herself.

Sooyoung watched the tears roll down Jessica's face.

"Here, I'll take it away for you." Sooyoung said while holding her hand out to her.

But Jessica shook her head. She wanted the sunflower to stay even though it brought back some painful memories for her, it also felt like she had a piece of her mother with her right in the room.

"So you want to keep the sunflower then?" asked Sooyoung.

Jessica nodded her head.

Sooyoung then grabbed some tissues for her and began to wipe her tears.

This nurse is so nice. I like the way she wipes away my tears so softly. I can tell she's worried about me. It feels good to have someone that seems to care about me again, she thought to herself.

"How about I go and find a vase for you. So we can put the sunflower in it." said Sooyoung.

Jessica nodded.

Sooyoung walked off and found a vase for her . She filled it up with water then placed the flower inside.

"Where would you like me to put it?" asked Sooyoung.

Jessica pointed to the table which they had lunch at earlier. So Sooyoung placed the vase on the table.

"Will you be okay if I leave now. I can stay longer if you like." asked Sooyoung.

Jessica motioned at her to come to her, so Sooyoung walked over next to her. Jessica then reached out and grabbed Sooyoung's hands. She bowed her head down to say thank you to Sooyoung. She then let go of Sooyoung's hands and began to wave at her.

Sooyoung waved back at her. I guess she's saying I can go now, thought Sooyoung.

"Bye, I'll see you tomorrow morning." Sooyoung said with a smile.

As Sooyoung drove home from work she couldn't help but think of her new patient. I wonder why she cried when i gave her the sunflower, thought Sooyoung. She even went to the shop on the way home because she wanted to buy something that she thought her new patient could use.

When she arrived home, Tiffany hadn't got back from her work yet. So Sooyoung hopped straight into the shower and got herself ready for going out to the movies. Every Tuesday night Sooyoung, Tiffany, Yoona and Seohyun would go to the movies.

She turned the TV on and sat on the sofa while waiting for Tiffany.  Her best friend owned and ran a river cruise boat company. Her family had plenty of money and they helped set up Tiffany's business which she had nearly paid back to her family already.

Sooyoung first met Tiffany in high school. They became friend's from the very first day of high school and have been the best of friend's ever since.

Tiffany finally walked through the door.

"I'm so sorry I got held up at work. I'll have a really quick shower." said Tiffany.

Once Tiffany was ready the two of them headed off to the movies.

Yoona and Seohyun were already waiting when they arrived. The two of them shared a house together. 

They bought their tickets and headed into the cinema. When they sat down Sooyoung was placed in between Tiffany and Yoona.

"I've got a bone to pick with you." said Tiffany.

"Why, what did I do?" asked Sooyoung.

"You were suppose to call me at lunchtime about your meeting with the Nursing Director."

"I'm so sorry Fany."

They watched the movie and Sooyoung spoke to them all about her new patient after the movie had finished.

"You already got her to smile and have lunch with you. That's amazing Soo." said Seohyun.

"I told her I'd speak to the hospital about bringing her to the movies with us. Would you all be annoyed if I brought her along next time. I mean if the hospital let's her come and If she even wants to come." said Sooyoung.

All the girls said they had no problem with her coming along to their next movie night.

They said their goodbye's and headed home.

The next morning.

As soon as Sooyoung got to work she asked the hospital orderly to bring her new patient down to the garden area again. While she was waiting she caught up with some of her other patient's.

She then headed outside. She could see her new patient sitting in her wheelchair waiting in the sun again.

Sooyoung walked up to her.

"Good morning." she said as she offered her hand to her again.

This time Jessica shook her  hand and smiled at her. Wow, now that's a step in the right direction, thought Sooyoung.

"Look I got some things for you." Sooyoung smiled.

She then pulled a bright pink umbrella out of her backpack.

"See I thought you could put the umbrella up so you can still sit in the sun without getting to hot. I hope you don't mind the colour pink. It's just the umbrella is my best friend's and she's kind of crazy about the colour pink." said Sooyoung as she opened up the umbrella and handed it to Jessica.

Jessica smiled at her and then held the umbrella.

"I also bought this for you." she said as she pulled out a soft black and white kitten plush toy.

"I thought it was a better idea to give you this to throw at me if I talk to much because that tennis ball really hurt when you threw it at me." Sooyoung smiled and handed the kitten toy to her.

Jessica instantly put the umbrella down and cuddled the cute kitten toy.

This toy is so cute and  I don't really want to throw the tennis ball at my nurse if it hurts her, Jessica thought.

"So anyway I really want to tell you about this movie I saw last night. It was called 'The Happy Husband' it was kind of a romantic comedy I guess. I thought it was a bit boring but it still had some okay parts in it. It was suppose to be really funny but it wasn't really. And compared to how funny I am then it definitely wasn't funny. So........." 

Jessica then threw the kitten toy at Sooyoung. But it didn't hit Sooyoung instead it landed directly in front of Jessica on the ground.

Sooyoung burst out laughing.

"That throw was terrible. I guess I don't need to worry about you ever being able to hit me when you have that kitten because you can't throw it very well."

So I guess she has forgotten that I can actually move closer to her with my wheelchair, thought Jessica. She then took off in her wheelchair and picked up the kitten toy off the ground and headed towards Sooyoung who was standing up.

"What are you doing? You're not allowed to chase me in the chair to throw the kitten at me. That's not fair." Sooyoung smiled as she tried to move out of the way of Jessica who was trying to get close enough to throw the kitten toy at her.

Jessica still kept chasing her in the wheelchair.

"Hey that's cheating you know and you're chasing after me to get close enough to throw that toy, so that just proves that your throws are terrible." Sooyoung laughed.

Jessica then threw the kitten as hard as she could at Sooyoung. It hit Sooyoung in the head. Jessica started to laugh.

"You're so mean to me. I bought that ever so cute kitten for you because I thought you would think it was so cute that you wouldn't want to throw it at me but no, I was wrong because you love throwing things at me." Sooyoung said with a smile.

Jessica smiled at her.

It was so worth her throwing that at me just to hear her laugh, Sooyoung thought.

"And just so you know, I think your laugh is so cute. I'm going to try even harder to make you laugh now just so I can hear that cute laugh of yours again." smiled Sooyoung.

Really so she thinks my laugh is cute. I didn't ever want to be caught laughing in front of any of my nurse's but with this Sooyoung it's impossible not to laugh. She's so much fun. I mean, I was even looking forward to today just so I could see her again.................
