Nobody's POV

Really so she thinks my laugh is cute. I didn't ever want to be caught laughing in front of my nurse's but with this Sooyoung it's impossible not to laugh. She's so much fun. I mean, I was even looking forward to today just so I could see her again, thought Jessica.

Sooyoung then picked up the black and white toy kitten from the ground.

Jessica held her hands out so that Sooyoung would give the toy kitten back to her.

"Sorry but you can't have this little kitty back yet because I need it for my story I'm about to tell you. Are you excited to hear my new story?" asked Sooyoung.

Jessica shook her head then smiled at her cheekily.

"You've already thrown a toy at me today and now you're not even excited about me telling you my new story. It was a really important story too but it's okay I'll just sit over here and pat this cute toy kitten seeing as you don't want to hear it." Sooyoung said as she sat down on the grass and patted the toy kitten.

Does she have any idea just how cute she looks right now, thought Jessica.

Jessica moved her wheelchair right next to where Sooyoung was sitting.

Sooyoung looked up at her and Jessica smiled back.

"Did you come over here so I could tell you my story?" asked Sooyoung.

Jessica nodded her head while smiling.

"Yes, thank you." said Sooyoung as she stood up to begin her story.

"Once upon a time there was a really funny nurse called ......... let's say, Sooyoung. She was out on her morning walk when she came across a little black and white kitten lying in the grass crying." she made crying noises for the kitten.

"So the really funny nurse gently picked up the kitten, then asked. Why are you crying you cute little kitten?"

"I've lost my Mum and I don't know where to find her, said the little kitten. So the really funny nurse told the little kitten a funny joke which stopped the kitten crying."

"Then the really funny nurse asked the kitten what his Mum's name was because once the nurse found out his Mum's name, she would be able to find his Mum."

"I don't know my Mum's name because she's never told me before, the kitten said."

Sooyoung then turned to Jessica.

"Would you please tell me your name? So I can return the kitten to his Mum."

Jessica shook her head.

"Okay enough of my story then, It's just on your file your name is listed as P598 and well I really enjoyed having lunch with you yesterday and I would really like to get to know you better but I can't possibly call you P598." said Sooyoung.

Jessica looked at her.

"Would you please tell me your name?" Sooyoung asked nicely.

Jessica shook her head again.

"Okay then, I don't want to pressure you. But I refuse to call you P598 so my Nursing Director told me I could choose my own name for you. Since you don't want to tell me your name I've come up with three choices for you. You can pick which name you prefer of the three." Sooyoung said.

Jessica listened carefully.

"So the first name I thought of was, Tennis ball thrower."

Hahaha what sort of name is that, Jessica thought.

"The second one is, Kitten thrower."

Jessica giggled.

"And the last one is, Ice cream. I thought ice cream was a good name because you melt in the sun, just like an ice cream." Sooyoung smiled.

She had purposely picked out three silly names hoping that her patient would not want to be called any of them and then would tell Sooyoung her real name.

I know which one I want her to call me. All the name's are weird but I just think she's so funny to even come up with those names. I wonder if she'll actually call me by this name, Jessica thought.

"Okay so the choice is yours. I can call you Tennis ball thrower, Kitten thrower or Ice cream. Which one would you like me to call you? asked Sooyoung.

Jessica held up three fingers.

"Three. Um ........ oh so you're picking the third choice which was Ice cream. Is that the name you want me to call you, Ice cream?" asked Sooyoung.

Jessica nodded her head to agree and then smiled at Sooyoung.

She seriously wants me to call her Ice cream. Well if that's what she wants then that's what she'll get, thought Sooyoung.

"Okay Ice cream it is then. I've got a meeting with the Nursing Director before lunch, so are you definitely sure that's the name you want me to put on your file?" she asked again.

Jessica nodded again.

"Well little cute kitten look's like I found your Mum for you and just so you know your Mum's name is ice cream." Sooyoung said while talking to the toy kitten. She then handed the kitten back to Jessica.

Jessica couldn't help but smile at Sooyoung. I really wish my nurse Sooyoung could spend all day with me. I know she has lots of other patient's but she makes me feel special and well nobody's made me feel special like she has for a long time, Jessica thought.

"By the way do you think you'd like to go to the movies with me and my friends on Tuesday night?" asked Sooyoung.

Jessica nodded her head excitedly.

"So you do, great. I have to actually ask my Nursing Director if she'll let you come but I'll try my hardest to get her to say yes." Sooyoung smiled.

I hope I'm allowed to go. I think I would really like to spend some more time with nurse Sooyoung, she thought to herself.

"If you feel like watching movies while you're here I could bring in some of my movies from home for you to watch." said Sooyoung.

Jessica smiled at her then nodded her head.

"Okay Ice cream, I'll bring some movies in for you to watch. What kind of movies do you like?" asked Sooyoung.

Jessica couldn't help but let out a giggle when Sooyoung called her ice cream.

"I thought your laugh was cute but I think maybe your giggle is even more cuter." Sooyoung smiled.

Jessica smiled sweetly back at Sooyoung.

"So maybe I should just bring in a few different movies in for you and then you can pick out which one's you'd like to watch." said Sooyoung.

Jessica smiled as she nodded her head.

"Okay then I'll bring some movies in for you tomorrow, okay Ice cream?"

Jessica burst out laughing with hearing Sooyoung calling her ice cream once again.

"Hey you keep laughing and giggling when I call you ice cream but you're the one that chose that name." Sooyoung said.

Jessica giggled again.

"Well I think ice cream is the perfect name for you if it makes you giggle and laugh so much because honestly you just look so cute when you do." Sooyoung smiled.

She has no idea that I think she's just so cute and funny as well, thought Jessica.

"So ice cream you need to head up to your room now. Is it okay if I take you back to your room?" asked Sooyoung.

She smiled and nodded her head. She was more than happy to have her cute and funny nurse take her back to her room.

Sooyoung kept chatting away to Jessica while she took her back to her room.

Once they headed inside the room. Sooyoung walked over to the vase with the sunflower in it.

"I'll just put some fresh water into this vase for you." she smiled.

I wonder if I press my button at lunch time again whether nurse Sooyoung would come and have lunch with me again.

Sooyoung walked back in with the fresh water in the vase.

"I really need to get going and see some of my other patient's. I hope the Nursing Director lets you come to the movies with us. If you like I can come and have lunch with you again later and let you know what the Nursing Director said." asked Sooyoung.

Jessica nodded her head instantly. She really wanted to have lunch with Sooyoung again. She was now really looking forward to seeing her nurse again at lunch time.

Sooyoung spent the rest of the morning catching up with her other patient's. Just before lunch she headed off to her meeting with Miss Lim the Nursing Director.

Miss Lim was already waiting for her.

"Please come in Sooyoung." she said.

Sooyoung walked in and sat down at the desk.

"Sooyoung I was watching you earlier today with your new patient outside. She's seems happy around you. I just know I made the right choice with you." said Miss Lim.

"I'm really enjoying spending time with her also." said Sooyoung.

"So you wanted to have a talk with me?" she asked.

"Yes I wanted to let you know that she wouldn't tell me her real name but she wants to be called ice cream so I put that name on the file." said Sooyoung.

"Did you just say she wants to be called ice cream?"

"Yes Miss, we can now call her ice cream." Sooyoung said.

Miss Lim let out a big laugh.

"Firstly how did you possibly come up with that name and secondly how did you get her to agree to it." 

"Well a few reasons but she seems happy to be called ice cream. Well I think she thinks it's funny but she still seems happy with it." said Sooyoung.

"Well as long as she's happy I guess that's fine." she smiled.

"I also wanted to ask you if you would let her have approval to come to the movies with me and my friends on Tuesday night."

"I'm not so sure about that Sooyoung. We always need to have a good reason to allow our patient's out like that." said Miss Lim.

"I think it could encourage her to communicate with us because my friends and I are probably a similar age to her. We'd also have something in common with her because we'd be seeing the same movie together and well Yoona and Seohyun would be there also so that means three of us would be nurse's so she'd always be with at least one of us." Sooyoung said.   

"Very good Sooyoung, you've come up with some great reasons there so I guess if I go and see um............. ice cream with you now and she agrees that she wants to go, well I'll approve her visit to the movies with you." said Miss Lim.

Sooyoung felt a big smile take over her face immediately.

The two of them made their way to room 62 to visit Jessica. Sooyoung knocked on her door then they entered the room.

"Hi .....ice cream this is our Nursing Director, Miss Lim." Sooyoung introduced her.

Jessica looked at her.

"Your nurse Sooyoung has told me that you wanted to go to the movies with her and her friends on Tuesday night. I just need to make sure that you actually do want to go before I can approve it. So would you like to go to the movies with them?" asked Miss Lim.

Jessica smiled then nodded her head.

"Great, I'll head back to my office and get the paper work done to approve the movie visit for you." Miss Lim said before leaving the room.

Wow, I'm actually allowed to go to the movies. I know she hasn't been my nurse for long but Sooyoung must really care about me to organize for me to go to the movies with her and her friends. I can't wait to go with her, thought Jessica.

"So are you happy? Because I know I'm really happy that Miss Lim has approved for you to go to the movies with me." Sooyoung smiled happily.

Jessica felt a big smile come across her face as she nodded her head at Sooyoung.

Just then the lunch tray was wheeled in for Jessica.

"Yes, it's lunch time. Do you still want me to have lunch with you today ice cream?" asked Sooyoung.

Jessica couldn't help but giggle hearing Sooyoung call her ice cream again ....................
