I was staring to the sky while keeping my head up in order to stop the blood running from my nose when Lu Han panting heavily because of running from the hall before sitting next to me. He handed me a plastic of ice cubes. “I got these…,” He breathed, “…from inside.” He said. I eyed him before reaching my hand to take the plastic which was so cold since the ice cubes started to melt. “…to stop the bleeding.” He said while gestured me to put the plastic on my nose. I did what he instructed. “Who is the guy from before?” He asked while resting his back on the back of the bench. I ignored his question. He scoffed while rolling his eyes to me, “Fine. Just don’t tell me.”
“How many times already you saved me?” I muttered after a quiet while silence, almost inaudible. “How can you always been around me when I am in trouble?” I turned my head to him when he arched one of his brows.
“Do you even remember how many times I have saved you?” He asked while opening his hand, showing his palm. He pulled in his thumb. “First, when you got drunk.” He pulled in the index finger. “…second, when you almost hit by the car.” Then he pulled in the middle finger. “…hmm.., third, when you got fever. Hit by the car and fever, let count those as the second.” He chuckled before pulling in the third finger, “…it is third then…, when you got tripped with the carpet, on my agency office.” He smirked, before pulling in the little finger, “fourth, on the club, when your finger got hurt,” he eyed my finger who got cut by the glass yesterday, that I hurriedly hid it behind my back. He pouted before saying again, “…and when those men on the club bothered you. Fifth, now…,” He giggled. “…five times in total. How do you plan to repay them?” He hummed.
I scrunched my nose while scoffing. “You should do that as charities.” I muttered. “God hates those who are stingy.” I added.
“Really?” He giggled. I nodded while glanced at him and surprised seeing the corner of his lips had a cut and bleed. “Why? Why? Why you look at me like that? Something on my face?” He asked, realizing my shock expression.
I abruptly put the plastic of ice cubes in the corner of his bleeding lips. “Yah. It’s bleeding.” I yelped. He jerked while gasping. I knew the coldness hurt his bleeding lips but I held it still there. His hand was in the middle of reaching the plastic when I shoved it. “Hss. Stay still.” I said. “I know the location better than you…,” I said, “…anyways.” I added awkwardly.
He then pulled his hand and let me look after his wound. “Yah. This is bad.” I mumbled. “This wound will be seen easily by people.” I gazed him who looked back at me before he avoided my eyes. I ignored his act, before muttering again, “…you are an idol after all. I am really sorry.”
“It’s okay.” He answered. “I don’t mind at all.” He added before whispering to me, “Want to go to s
