Lu Han

She looked at me in a daze when I walked toward her. But, she suddenly gestured me to stop walking. I stood still, watching her. She closed the door and turned around when the carpet tangled her feet and she almost fell if I didn’t catch her on my arms. I grabbed her back with my left palm and held her waist with my right hand. Both of us stoned, eyes locked into each other.

“Ehrrm…, Lu Han sshi…,” she caressed my arm slowly, “someone is watching,” she gazed the corner of the ceiling. I looked up, to see that corner spot, where there was this camera to record everything that happened in this room. I cleared my throat as I helped her to stand on her feet, while rubbing the back of my neck, and gestured her to sit on the couch.

“I am sorry.” I said, softly.

“That’s my fault…,” She cut, “I am sorry, Lu Han sshi.”

Huh? She called me what…. Do I really ever meet this girl? She… she… has… changed! Be mature, Lu Han, I said to myself. It was in the office where you both work, there was no way you would call her by the name. Remember, stay away from her, don’t cause any harm to her. But, still I slightly felt disappointed.

I nodded. “So, you are the author?” I asked, pretending to not know her at all.

“Actually I am his friend.” She answered. “He gave me this. He wants you to read it.” She handed me a bundle of papers. “He says it will help you a lot in understanding better about the character.”

I took that bundle while eyeing her who seemed didn’t even bother at all seeing me again, this close, in this empty room. She looked like someone else –someone cold, someone who never once asked me to feed her porridge. Working life is crazy… “I will read it.” I said. “Then, is there any other thing the author wants me to know?”

“Actually nope.” She answered. “He already likes you, as your appearance is close to the main character in his webtoon. And, he just wants me to ask you several questions that I should pass them to him in order to let you know what you should learn more for the first shooting.”

“Well then what he wants to know?” I asked, putting the bundle on the table while crossing my legs and leaning my back on the couch –trying to act as comfortable as I could. Hell yeah, I am Lu Han and I don’t waver in front of this girl. This girl was nothing. I couldn’t lose to her.

She stayed still, watching my moves, before she took her phone, and cleared , and looked up at me. I gasped when those eyes caught mine. Lu Han don’t get lost. I warned myself.
