“Andw---“The boy was cut as Jessica woke up from her slumber and spoke.

“K-Kwon… Yul?!”  Jessica unexpectedly spoke with widen eyes.

Yul then turned his head and muttered, “Jessica, finally, you woke up!” with a smile plastered on his face.

“W-why are you here?” She questioned.

“I knew you were sick, so I immediately went here. And your maid just let me know that your heart condition is very bad,” Yul sincerely said.

“…” Jessica wasn’t able to say anything.

“By the way, here. I have flowers for you,” Yul smiled.

                “Ah, thanks,” Jessica thanked.

“Long time no see,” and he heaved a sigh. “So, how are you?”

“I thought you already know?” She asked.

“Yeah… take care, okay?” He muttered with a smile plastered on his face.

                “Of course,” Jessica winked, smiling.

“What about… you and your husband?” He started a topic.

“…” Jessica’s happy expression quickly turned to a sad one.

                “Why?” Yul became curious.

                “I don’t think we’re okay… he even had a mistress,” Jessica sighed.

“Mwoh?! How can he do that to you?” He asked, shocked.

Jessica faked a smile and said, “Whatever. At least, you’re here,” and she held Yul’s hand tight.

“…” Yul just smiled back and didn’t say any word.

They then glared to each other sweetly without saying anything, with Jessica continuing to hold Yul’s hand…

                *silence*

“Ma’am, I’ll just go outside first,” the maid broke the ice.

Jessica giggled and said, “Ah, I’m sorry,” as she somehow realized that she was quite embarrassed by what she did, so she immediately got her hand off from Yul’s.

Yul smiled and said, “Haha. It’s alright,”

                “Thanks,” Jessica awkwardly smiled back.

                *awkward silence comes*

The doctor then unexpectedly knocked and said as he entered, “Umm, excuse me,” and he smiled.

Jessica turned her head to see who that person was and as she realized that it was the doctor, she said, “Ah, come in,” and she smiled.

“So, how are you? Are you feeling well now? I’ve knew that you already woke up that’s why I immediately went here to check you,” the doctor muttered.

“Ah, yes. I’m kinda feeling better,” Jessica grinned.

“That’s good then,” he responded. He then turned her head and saw Yul. He pointed Yul using his lips which meant a ‘who is he?’ question.

Jessica realized and spoke, “By the way, this is my friend, Kwon Yul,”

“Annyeong haseyo!” Yul stood up and bowed with a smile plastered on his face.

“Ah, I see. Annyeong haseyo!” The doctor bowed, too, for respect.

“Okay, so, let’s check you up then,” the doctor went forward.

                “Sure!” The sick girl exclaimed.

“Hmm, it seems that you’re happier now,” the doctor smiled.

“Hmm, maybe?” And they both laughed which made the tan boy chuckle a bit.

“Okay, so your health is better now. Just continue your mood right now and DON’T be stressed,” and the doctor smiled.

                “Aye-aye!” Jessica muttered.

“Well, okay, I’m going,” he smiled.

“Okay. Thank you, doctor-ssi,” Jessica bowed a little.

“No problem,” he winked and left.

                “Annyeong!” Jessica waved her hand.

“Annyeong!” Yul waved his hand, too.

“Annyeong!” And the doctor finally left.

                “So…” Yul muttered.

                “So..?” Jessica shrugged.

                Then unexpectedly…

                *hungry stomach sounds*

                “Oh, mianhe,” Jessica chuckled.

                *chuckles*

                They chuckled together.

“So, guess you’re hungry?” Yul asked.

                “Probably,” Jessica chuckled again.

“Is it okay if… I’ll be the one to feed you anyway?” Yul questioned.

“Aigoo. Haha! How did you know that I can’t eat alone?” Jessica raised an eye brow.

Yul then pointed his mind and they chuckled. “I’m bright since school days,” he joked.

                “Jinja? I don’t believe,” Jessica merong-ed.

“Really!!! Ask Taeng if you want,” Yul muttered which made Jessica’s expression lonely again.

“Taeyeon…” and she heaved a sigh.

“Shh… don’t be sad,” and he ruffled her head. “Let’s just eat,”

“Okay,” Jessica faked a smile. “At least you’re here,” she whispered.

“Hmm..?” Yul asked which made Jessica be nervous because he maybe heard it. “What do you want to eat?” He asked again.

“Omo! Glad he didn’t hear,” she whispered.

                “Huh?” He asked.

“Ah, I said, I want soup,” Jessica pretended.

“Okay,” and he prepared soup for Jessica.

“I’m sorry, I need to go,” Yul sincerely apologized.

“Ah, really?” The sick girl pouted.

“Don’t worry, I’ll be back. Just an important thing,” Yul ruffled her hair again.

“Okay then!” Jessica exclaimed and smiled.

“Annyeong!” Yul waved and went near the door.

And when he was about to leave, “Yul!” Jessica exclaimed.

                “Ne?” Yul turned his head.

                “Thank you,” Jessica smiled.

“No problem and thank you, too,” he smiled back.

                “Okay,” Jessica continued to smile.

                “Annyeong!” He waved.

“Annyeong, too!” And he finally left.

>> Outside the room <<

Yul then blushed and said in his mind, “I think I’m still in love with you, Jessica. But you’re already married… married to a bad husband… should I? Should I still continue this love for you and confess my feelings?” and he heaved a sigh.
