Prompt: parents!au where the kids disturb daddy and papa's alone time ~

Kyungsoo wonders when their Saturday nights turned into this. This being him and Jongin finally catching precious minutes alone, tired bodies mysteriously finding energy to rediscover each other. Jongin has Kyungsoo writhing underneath him, mouth latched on to the side of his neck. Kyungsoo is having difficulty breathing, but it feels so good he thinks he doesn't mind how his lungs compress and his head spins.

Jongin crawls further down his body, dangerously low, lips about to reach exactly where Kyungsoo wants them to most, when -

'DADDY!'

Jongin groans. He throws the covers off of them and is about to roll off the bed and into some pants to see what Soojung is yelling about when Kyungsoo wraps his legs around the younger's waist and hooks his feet together at the small of his back. A tug sends Jongin flat on top of him, and Kyungsoo smiles and leans in for a kiss. 'She'll be fine, baby, don't worry,' he murmurs, before kissing Jongin full on the mouth.

Jongin almost forgets about his four year old when a series of mild knocks comes to their bedroom door. Kyungsoo tries his best to regain focus of Jongin's attention, but to no avail. The third high-pitched wail of 'DAAAADDY!!!!' has Jongin swiftly untangling himself from Kyungsoo's grasp, rolling out of bed, deftly putting on the closest pair of pants he can find.

Sometimes Kyungsoo thinks he has a love/hate relationship with how devoted a father Jongin is.

He tugs on his own pants and shirt just in time for Jongin to pull the door open. 'What's wrong, princess?' he asks gently, kneeling on the floor so Soojung can wrap her arms around her father's neck. 'Had a bad dream?' he asks, and Soojung nods.

Kyungsoo sighs. He's not going to get any action tonight, he thinks. 'Do you want to sleep with Daddy and Papa?' he asks, somewhat begrudgingly. It's been weeks since he's had Jongin touch him, but the tearful look in Soojung's eyes lets him know what he's doing is right. She nods again, and Jongin carries her to the bed, tucks her in between them. She falls asleep fairly quickly, and Jongin does too, arm around her small waist as he cuddles her to him.

The look of peace on both their faces has Kyungsoo smiling to himself, leaning in to kiss both their foreheads.

Some things are just more important, he supposes.
