Love is the best cure
Slipped my mindA month later, doctors kept giving Zelo medication, but he still had trouble breathing. Daehyun's punch provoked more damage than everyone thought: Apparently the punch was very close to his vocal chords, but it struck Zelo's lungs, making them contract a little. Also his voice was strange. Doctors were doing everything they could, but nothing worked.
An hour later, Youngjae rushed to the hospital, asking the doctors a million questions in a panicked voice. "Calm down, Mr. Yoo, we're doing everything we can, the young man is still struggling with his breath, so..." "It's been a month! Can I please see him!?" Youngjae totally panicked. The doctor sighed: "Alright, Mr. Yoo. He's in the room on your left"
Youngjae thanked the doctor and rushed there. He instantly hugged Zelo, not too tightly, but he radiated enough warmth to make the maknae feel comfortable. Miraculously, his pale skin regained its natural color.
The nurse in the hospital was surprised: "Wow, his skin was almost blue, sometimes ghostly white, now his color is back, precisely, he's even a little too red..." she said, noticing Zelo's blush.
"Good job, Mr. Yoo! We did everything, and he hasn't done any progress yet" Youngjae didn't let go of Zelo, who weakly hugged him back. His lungs started to breathe a bit better, inhaling Youngjae's warmth, instead of the hospital room's nauseous chemical odour.
Thirty minutes later, still in that position, Zelo's breathing was almost back to normal. Even his voice was almost as normal. The doctor and nurses were amazed: "Mr. Yoo, you're a life-saver! You did something we couldn't do in months!" The doctor shook his hand and complimented him.
"I didn't do anything, I just showed him my affection to him, because, love and affection, with some medication, are the best cures anyone could ever have".
The doctor almost cried at his words, and said, turning to Zelo: "Talking about medications, I would want to keep you in here one more day, to see if your breathing is totally back to normal. Not in those rooms where there's chemical odour. And you, Mr. Yoo, take care of yourself, for you saved a person's life."
