My breath grew heavy and my throat started to close up as tears welled up in my eyes. "But, how are we going to get inside now?" I asked. He was tense, too, and I could tell.

"I don't know. I'm really sorry I even brought you into this situation. I'm an idiot, and I should've just brought you home," he apologized. I hugged him, which caught him off guard, but he relaxed and hugged me back.

"I want to go home, Lu Han," I whimpered. He rubbed my back with one hand to try to calm me down.

"It's okay. I can call Chanyeol to cover for you, and then I could pretend nothing happened," he said.

"But then I'd have to pretend I was out there alone because you can forget your career if they see us together, and then you wouldn't be able to go inside...." I trailed off in a shaking voice. He shook his head and held a finger under my chin to lift it up. His smile sparkled on his face, like it was brighter than the stars in the sky.

"I'll be fine, Nicole. If I have to sleep under the stars tonight, I'm up for it," he told me. I shook my head.

"No. I'm staying with you, Lu Han," I persisted. He shook his head and pulled out his phone, dialing a number.

"Hello? Yeah, Tao and Yixing are inside, and I sorta brought Nicole over here, and you know they'll get me kicked out if I go inside with her...." he explained.

"No! Lu Han! I want to stay with you!" I said angrily. He covered up the bottom of the phone and turned to me.

"You know I can't let you do that. Look, Chanyeol loves you. He's crazy about you, and he's an idiot about it because he put Baek in the hospital. But you know he loves you more than anything, and if you stay with me, we'll both get in trouble. Please," he told me. I bit my lip and nodded, so he smiled and continued his call.

"So can you get here soon? Thanks, Chanyeol," he said, pausing between sentences. He put his phone down and sighed as he looked up at the sky. "Yep, I wouldn't mind sleeping out here. It's pretty," he remarked.

I soon went inside, pretending I had been out there alone the whole time. "Nicole!" Chanyeol greeted me excitedly. I fake-smiled and hugged him. I didn't know why I didn't love him as much anymore, but I was surely not going to tell him. After all, I was just mad at him for hurting Baekhyun.
