After SM Entertainment announcing of some of their artists not going to be at the Japan leg of their tour, SM Entertainment themselves released more news of ACES's Makayla's car accident that happened on September 30th.

As said in the ous article, ACES will not participate in the Japan leg for the SM Town concert in Japan in order to have some time after the loss of member Makayla. And SM Entertainment has released even more information about Makayla's accident that happened on September 30th that took the life of Makayla, part of ACES, and the life of her friend. SM Entertainment has surprising released more information to the public about the accident, as well as ACES future;

"We have found out more information about ACES's Makayla's accident from the China police department. The car accident that took Makayla, as well as her friend's life was not caused by speeding, but by the engine in the car. The external combustion part of the engine overheated and that's what brought up the flames and made the car go out of control, and thus making the car crashing into the pole. 
We also have news for what may happen to ACES in the future. Many netizens have been asking what will happen with ACES, for now ACES will recuperate from the loss of Makayla by going through therapy for a while and cancel anything and just focus on that. As of adding a new member or not will not be decided now or any time soon."

For now it seems ACES will take a long hiatus to recuperate from the loss of Makayla. And it seems SM Entertainment has made this case closed after finding out the truth of what had caused the accident. And for fans in South Korea who couldn't fly to China, they made their place for Makayla to say their prayers, with plenty of flowers for the young girl who passed away at 16 years old. We wish ACES and the SM Entertainment artists as well to recover soon from the loss and we hope Makayla is resting better in the heavens, and to hopefully meet her sunbaes EunB and RiSe.
