Fall For You

The Family

"You are nervous."

Chanri stared at Sehun and nodded. She was more than nervous now.

"You have met them, Chanri. They are very delighted to see you again." Sehun held her hand while the other was on the steer.

"Do they know that I'm your...err...girlfriend now?" Chanri pursed her lips.

"Of course!" He chuckled shortly. "My mom can't stop asking about you after the party. She likes you more than me."

Chanri smiled. This was her first time ever being introduced to someone's family as a girlfriend. "Can I ask you something?" Sehun nodded. "Does your mom know about you and...Sera?"

Sehun frowned. "She knew after we broke up for a few months." He told. "I never properly introduced her as my girlfriend but my brother did. It just seemed weird."

Chanri nodded a few times as a sign of understanding. So I am the first girl being introduced as his girlfriend.

Sehun squeezed her hand. "They like you. My father, mother and even my brother like you, they have considered you as one of our family."

We're a couple for less than five days and they have considered me as a family.

Sehun parked the car beside the other cars. He wrapped his hand around her shoulder and led her to the front door.

"Chanri!" A call for Sehun's mom could be heard as soon as they took the first step into the extravagant house. Sehun's mom welcomed her with a warm hug and kiss on both cheeks. "It's so nice to see you again, dear. Come in, come in."

Sehun followed the two ladies from the back. Chanri sat down on the dining room. The delicious of dishes were served on the table. Sehun sat next to her while his brother sat across him and the mother on his side. Mr. Oh joined in a few seconds later.

Chanri politely bowed at him and smiled. She kept her gaze low, looking at the empty plate.

"Shall we eat?" The father spoke.

Chanri let the others took the food first. Sehun helped her taking the food and his brother and mother chuckled mockingly at him.

"Does Sehun treat you nicely and gently, Chanri?" His mother asked.

Chanri nodded and swallowed her food inside . "Yes." She stated.

"Don't be afraid to tell me if he hurts you or treats you badly, ok?"

Sehun rolled his eyes while Chanri giggled.

"It's such a nice view seeing Sehun happy and cheerful all the time." His mom commented. "Before you came, he was the most bad-tempered person in here."

"I heard that a lot." Chanri said.

Their conversation continued on talking about Sehun's childhood and habits while he was still a kid. Chanri felt knowing him more. Sihwan and the father would sometimes make some comments on the story.

"So now I'm the victim of the day." Sehun pouted a little.

"I wonder if she would still stay with you after knowing your disgusting habit while you were in primary school." Sehun's brother smirked.

Sehun glared at him as if saying 'don't tell it'.

"What habit?" Chanri looked at Sehun with her innocent eyes.

"Nothing, it's nothing. It was a long time ago. No need to be discussed any further. Can we have the dessert now?" Sehun tried to change the topic.

"Tell me." Chanri insisted.

Shiwan laughed joyfully. He crossed his hands and leaned back.

"Nothing! Look, the ice cream is here."

Chanri turned to Shiwan with demanding look. "What habit?"

Shiwan looked at Sehun before his eyes gazed back at Chanri. She ignored the maid who put the dessert in front of her. "Sehun would always pee on his pants whenever he felt nervous and anxious. Fortunately, it stopped when he entered the junior high school or else..."

Chanri laughed. Sehun covered his shy face with his hand.

"Do you still now?"

Sehun raised a brow at her. His family was laughing at Sehun whose face was red. "God, no!" He spoke. "It was a long time ago."

Chanri shrugged and stuck her tongue out. "Just asking."

•••

"This is when Sehun got into school for the first time. He looked excited and happy, didn't he?"

Chanri looked at the picture with a big smile. It showed Sehun, as a kid, wearing a uniform with his big smile.

"I'm glad he found you, Chanri." His mother closed the album and put it aside. They watched the three gentlemen who were enjoying the fresh air outside while talking about something. "He was back to the smiling kid ever since he met you. He seems more alive now. Before he met you, he was like a lost lamb on the world, only following the direction without knowing the latter."

Chanri saw Sehun watching at her and then looking back at his brother.

"Do you know what Sehun telling me about you for the first time?" Sehun's mother took a sip of her tea. Chanri shook her head. "I will not forget the first time he told me about you. He was like a teenage boy who was so in love with one girl. Sehun told me that he just fell in love and he said you are cute and different. Basically, he told me everything. He said you don't know him as the CEO which made him wanted to know you more." She giggled at herself. "Did you ever reject his confession?"

Chanri bit her lips. "Umm, yes. Once."

"Oh dear." The lady seemed amused. Chanri furrowed her brows. "He got drunk the day you rejected him and thankfully, Mr. Shin called me. I was not in here at that time so I called his friends for help. We were all worried about him. He could be out of control in his lowest state."

"I don't know that." Chanri murmured.

"And forgive my son for treating you badly after the rejection." She added.

Chanri still remembered how ignorant Sehun was back then. She didn't like it at all. "It's fine."

"No, it's not. His friends and I scolded him when Sehun told me that he ignored you and let you got home in heavy rain." The mother frowned but then her expression relaxed after hearing the men laughter. "He was so worried about you when you fell sick – I could imagine how he looked like. He kept blaming himself for making you sick. It was his fault after all for treating a nice and beautiful lady like that."

"Ladies."

Both of them glanced up. Sehun was walking towards them and took a seat beside Chanri.

"What are you two talking about? It seems very interesting and absorbing, judging by your look."

"We're talking about you, young man." Sehun's mom rolled her eyes.

"What about me?" He frowned.

"You treated her so badly."

"Mom." Sehun sounded pleading. "I have told you that it will be my last time treating her like that. I swear I'd never do that again."

"Don't swear to me. Swear to your girlfriend." His mom stood up and left them.

Sehun then turned to her. "I promise I will not making you sick or sad or cry, Chanri." He smiled.

Chanri smiled back.

"Don't make a promise that you can't keep, little brother. It hurts more than being cheated on."

Sehun scoffed. "Get lost. This is between Chanri and me."

Shiwan laughed and left them alone. Sehun took her hands and held them tightly.

"What were you three talking about?" Chanri curiously asked.

"The perfect date to marry you." He answered with poker face.

Chanri raised a brow. "Seriously, Sehun?"

Sehun smiled playfully. "We were just talking about cars, sports, business and more business."

Men's talk.

"But seriously, my father asked me when will I marry you." He added.

"And what did you answer?" This is getting nowhere.

"I told him as soon as possible. I'm even ready to get married now. Are you ready?" Sehun smirked and winked.

"No!" Chanri half shouted. "I'm just 21 and I'm too young to be a mother. We're definitely not getting married now or tomorrow or the day after tomorrow."

"Two days after tomorrow then." He joked.

"No."

"How about next week?"

"No."

Sehun frowned. "When then?"

"When I'm ready." Chanri replied.

"For you, I'll wait patiently." Sehun said and stole a quick kiss on her cheek, making Chanri blushed. "Do you know that you just rejected my proposal? I'm hurt and sad now." Sehun acted as if his heart ached.

Chanri rolled her eyes. "It's not the proposal that I've been dreaming of anyway."

Sehun raised a brow. "What kind of proposal do you want then?" He moved his hand over her shoulder and pulled her closer.

Chanri shrugged.

"Sehun! Chanri!"

Chanri and Sehun turned to the voice of the mother. Chanri stood up. "Let's go. Your mom's calling us."

Sehun frowned. "Can't we stay like before a little longer?"

"No."

"It's not even ten minutes since we are alone like this."

Chanri sighed and pulled his hand but Sehun still on his position. "Come on, Mr. CEO!" Chanri said. Sehun finally stood up and they went  back to the kitchen. Sehun smiled as he saw his fingers intertwined with Chanri's.

"You are nervous."

Chanri stared at Sehun and nodded. She was more than nervous now.

"You have met them, Chanri. They are very delighted to see you again." Sehun held her hand while the other was on the steer.
