Author’s POV:

Amber was standing outside the car while her dad was putting their suitcases on the trunk. She was getting impatient, she was anxious to see the school and to see New York but also she was sad because Krystal told her she wasn’t going to say goodbye to her, even when she ask her to do it. It was just a little two day stay at New York with her Dad, it wasn’t even the real day when she would move out.

“There Jo, did you say goodbye to your brothers and your sister and mom?” Adam was trying to understand why Amber didn’t look excited

“Yeah, Fanny told me to be careful. Jong just hug me and then return to sleep while hugging Key like he was a teddy bear, he really acts like he was younger than me dad. Hae start crying so I just hug him and leave while Mom was cooking trying to distract herself. Why are they like this? It’s not like I’m moving out already” Amber mumble the last sentence annoyed

“You mean why Krystal is like that?” Adam reply with an innocent look

“I don’t want to talk about it dad, let’s go” Amber got in the car while sighing one last time

I guess it’s too hard for Krystal but at least she could try

Amber was in deep thinking when Adam try to make her feel easy about the subject.

“New York right?” Adam try to joke

Amber’s POV:

I turn to see my dad with a serious look, then I realized he was trying to joke with me, trying to make me enjoy the trip. I decide I will enjoy it.

“New York please” I reply with a huge smile

“That’s the spirit Jo, turn the stereo on” Dad put his shades

“Since when you’re so cool?” I ask him trying to teasing him

“Since before you knew what cool means” He answer me back while sticking his tongue out.

I turn the stereo and found myself smiling while “Rocketeer” by Far East Movement was playing. I turn to see my dad again and he just ruffle my hair.

Amber was moving her hand outside the window like an airplane, she enjoying this time with her dad. She was happy that she will actually see the school and that she will be able to spent some time at New York to know the city. Her mind shut down the part of her brain saying she should be sad and mad at Krystal been selfish.

“So, what do you want to eat Jo?” Adam turn the music down trying to catch Amber’s attention.

“Don’t know…pizza?” Amber ask back

“Hahaha, steak will be then” Adam laugh while turning the music up again.

At home, Krystal was eating ice cream with Sully while watching a movie. Sully give up trying to make Krystal realize she was been selfish at saying that she wouldn’t go to say goodbye to Amber, she didn’t get why Krystal seem fine about the whole subject.

“You got a little bit of ice cream there, amm you seem pretty okay with Amber moving out to New York after her graduation” Sully start a small talk

“I’m not, but crying and pleading wouldn’t be good. It’s her dream to major in music, I won’t make her drop her dream for me been selfish” Krystal state while turning her head at the TV again

So weird…she seems rather fine…even when she explain herself…something’s wrong

“Sweetie you should call Kibum’s parents and tell them that Kibum will stay for dinner, I’m pretty sure your brother knows the phone number” Linda state while cutting some fruit to me and Fanny

“Okay, I will call them after breakfast” Hae reply softly

Krystal’s POV:

Sully left after watching some movies, Jessica was on a double date with Fanny and my parents were having dinner with the neighbors. I was alone in the house, I feel something moving by my side, when I turn to see what it was I notice Kryber stretching.

I guess I’m not alone then

“Hey Kryber, want to see some things that your mom give to me?” I ask the little puppy

 He just move his tail while leading the way towards my room, I just follow him with a small smile. I sit on the bed and bring Kryber with me, while I open the box Amber gave me, something pop up in my head, I grab the camera that Amber give me and snap a shot of me and Kryber on the bed.

“This is for mom to see us” I smile at him

I grab the usb driver and put it on my lap, after a few seconds the folder appear with some videos. I turn to see Kryber that was already falling asleep. I poke his belly and he just yawn.

“Don’t you dare to sleep, I want you to see mom, come one” He just move closer to me and put his head on my arm while his eyes were fixed at the lap screen.

I put play to the video, where some of our pictures start to appear with “Tic Tok” from 2PM sound on the background. I smile while watching the whole video, when it ends I sigh feeling horrible for the way I act towards Amber.

Baby, I’m sorry for been so selfish, but if I would go to say goodbye to you I will totally make you feel sad because the most sure thing it was that I will be whining about you leaving. I want you to enjoy this trip with your dad.

I lie on my bed and hug Kryber. He just start sleeping again, I just chuckle at him and start feeling sleepy too.

“You’re a bad example for me Kryber” I mumble before I could doze off.

Amber’s POV:

We were already at the hotel when my phone rang. I smile when I notice it was Krystal. I read the message with a huge smile on my face, I guess my dad notice it.

“What up? Did you make out with Krys?” Dad was trying to turn the play station 3 on

“Yeah…Dad you mind that I take a bath?” I ask him while typing a reply to Krystal

“Nop, I want to play with this…”Dad’s voice start to fade while he turn the play station 3

After my bath I play some video games with dad. I was happy and really excited to be in New York City. After playing we went to bed but I found myself rolling in the bed without getting sleepy so I just stood up and went towards the big window.

All the lights, all the cars and all the people walking even when is close to midnight. I love New York
