Hanul’s POV

Leaving home was bittersweet.

“I’ll see you for the wedding, okay?”, I said, exchanging hugs with my father.

“Of course, I have to walk you down the aisle, right? Make sure it’s short, I don’t like exercise!”, my father told me.

I smiled and then hugged my mother. She hugged me tightly and whispered to me, “You’re happy, right?” I nodded. She my hair and said, “I knew you were brave. I wasn’t wrong to believe in you after all.”  

“Thank you”, I said sincerely. I squeezed her tightly and then let her go.

“Nickhun-sshi, take good care of my daughter”, my father said.

Jaebum hyung waved his hand in front of my dad’s face. “Yo, dad, I’m still Hanul’s older brother.”

“Jaebum”, my father said, placing a hand on his shoulder, “You just take care of yourself.”

Taecyeon’s POV

I sighed as I unloaded the last of the luggage.

Stupid Junsu and Wooyoung had run off without putting their suitcases and bags inside our dorm. Something about a train… being late… something or the other.

I stretched out on the front porch, too tired to move.

“What’s up, Taec?”, Junho asked, sitting down next to me.

“I’m just relaxing now that our performances are over.”

“Yeah, I think Heartbeat was a hell of a success, though.”

I nodded, “Yeah, luckily, I think we have a good shot at the next Awards Ceremony.”

Junho didn’t respond.

“Junho?” I sat up. Did I say something wrong?

“Taec… that’s… I’m not…”, Junho pointed.

I have terrible eyesight, but I looked anyway.

Five figures were in the car driving up to our dorm…

Five…

We waited, in silence as the car drove up.

Then,Wooyoung, Junsu, Nickhun, Hanul, and Jaebum got out of the car.

“WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!”

“LEADER JAYYYYYY!”

“JAY HYUNG!”

“JAYJAYJAYJAY!”

“Did someone say- JAYYYYY!”, Chansung joined us.

“JAY, WE MISSED YOUR PERKY !”, Junho cried, and slapped it.

“JAEBUM HYUNGGGGGGGGGG!”, I leaned in and hugged his arm. 

“KHUNNIE!”, Chansung said before smothering Khun against his chest.

“What took you guys so damn long?”, Junho asked.

Hanul exchanged a look with Nickhun before both of them lifted their hands up, showing two matching rings on the fourth finger.

Nichkhun and I held each other gazes’ for a moment before both of us broke into a grin.

“What? You actually caught her?”, Junho yelped.

“Am I a fish?”, Hanul said, laughing.

“How big was the bait?”, Wooyoung asked cheekily, wagging his eyebrows.

Hanul promptly kicked him in the balls.

“Love you too, Wooyoung oppa.”

Hanul’s POV

I knew I should go back to my dorm soon… but I felt so comfortable here… with all the 2pm members. Just as I had a family back home, I had also had another family here, in this home.

I was drifting off to sleep on the couch when suddenly I felt my phone ring.

I clumsily reached around before realizing it was in my pocket.

“Hwello?” , I mumbled sluggishly.

“Hanul? I heard you were back.”

“YG President?” I sat up instantly.

“Yes, its’s me. Can we talk in person?”, he asked.

“Sure, I’m at 2pm’s dorm right now”, I replied.

“Okay, sounds good.”

He hung up.

Wait, what had I just agreed to?

“Someone coming over?”, Khun asked me.

“The… the YG President”, I answered, dazed.

“Go brush your hair or something while I tell the others”, Khun said, getting up.

I nodded and went to clean myself up.

The doorbell rang about five minutes later.

We gathered at the door. I opened the door to see the YG President.

“Hanul.”

“President”, I bowed.

“There’s someone I wanted to introduce you to.”

He stepped aside to reveal the JYP President.

“Prez!”, the 2pm members cried.

“For you, as well”, the YG President said to me.

“What? I was traded?”, I said, flabbergasted. Why?

“He’ll… He’ll be debuting you.”

 “I’m… I’m debuting?” , I managed to stutter.

The YG President nodded.

It took a moment for it to hit me.

And then it did.

Like a brick wall.

“I’m… I’m…”, I turned to the others, at a loss for words.

Jaebum hyung said it for me.

“HOLY , YOU’RE DEBUTING!”

I was surrounded by the 2pm members, hugging tightly, cheering, yelling.

I pulled in both Presidents into our celebration, although both of them were slightly reluctant.

But they finally laughed and allowed themselves to be pulled in.
