Leeteuk sit outside the emergency room together with the others. His father, his parents in law, Hara and Jongmin, Sandeul and Nayoung. He clasped his hands as he prayed for Taeyeon safety, and also their babies. His mother in law also look worry and nervous as they wait for Taeyeon and her soon grandchildren. Though his father may not show it, he know he also worry about Taeyeon conditions.

He had been waiting for Taeyeon for four hours, and the doctors inside still haven’t come out yet. Worry start to eat him as he recalled the last conversations they had before Taeyeon was pushed inside the emergency room.

Please, save our babies. I want you to save them.

He smile sadly. He don’t want to choose, more like he can’t choose. Taeyeon, and the babies, means the same to him. How can he choose one and sacrifice the others. He really can’t. They’re their lives. He can’t lose one of them.

He felt a pat on his shoulder. Sandeul was giving a smile to him, encouraging him. He knows his hyung really worry right now. The woman he loves, is fighting inside between life and death. He really wish that both the mother and the babies could come out safe and sound, together.

The tension in the waiting room had been eerily quiet. No one tried to make a sounds as they still waiting for the mother and babies come out well. They couldn’t help but to be remind on when Taeyeon pregnancy times. Though she’s a strong woman, her pregnancy had made her weak. She couldn’t stay out longer than 2 hours for she will have the pain shooting her back. Her legs can’t walk for longer and far. She couldn’t sleep well for every night after her 4 months pregnancy. She lose her weight for she throw up everything she has eat.

She would wake up in the midnight crying as she felt the pain in her body like someone was crushing her body and broke her ribs. And Leeteuk would wake up of that, trying to ease her pain, and calm her to sleep. Taeyeon had become weak after her pregnancy. She also cried easily.

The family doctor had said it’s because the pregnancy she’s having is the gristle pregnancy. Taeyeon had a weak pregnancy. Not to mention, she’s carrying a twin in it. Making her pain double, and the pregnancy more weak. There’s also a few times both Taeyeon and Leeteuk almost lose their babies, but Leeteuk was quick to overcome it.

Leeteuk had to stay awake for her every 24 hours. Despite he was dead tired after his meetings, Taeyeon still his first priority. He don’t mind staying all night just to rub her back so that she could fell asleep again. He don’t mind waking in the middle of the night when Taeyeon suddenly had a cram. He don’t mind having a piles of works waiting for him as he had to stay with Taeyeon after her long fever.

Her whole pregnancy do take most of their time. He can’t go out for too long as he know Taeyeon would felt the pain in her body in any second without warning. The doctors the family hired couldn’t do much except giving a vitamin for the mother and babies. Taeyeon pregnancy state couldn’t consume much medicine, and Taeyeon also refused to stay at hospital for a long time.

Leeteuk remember one night, where he just went home from his late night meeting, and thought Taeyeon had fallen asleep. But as he about to enter the bathroom, Taeyeon suddenly scream weakly, holding onto her big stomach while saying it hurts her. Leeteuk had no idea which exact part hurt, but he knows every part of her hurt.

He stay awake trying to ease her pain by massaging her body, though it’s hard for her to sleep as she kept crying. Leeteuk felt his heart was being slammed seeing his wife crying in pain. He couldn’t do much. Thus he stay awake for another 3 hours till Taeyeon asleep despite his body was dead tired.

And now is the time. They should be waiting this moment in glee, but instead, they are waiting the moment in worry, tense, and nervous. They don’t want to choose if they can. They want both mother and babies come out together safe and sound. But the doctor words before Taeyeon was push inside the emergency room keep ringing in their ears.

“Seeing how weak Mrs. Park pregnancy, we couldn’t perform the normal delivery to her. But Mrs. Park kept insist the normal one. The caesar may not do much change, but at least it’s reduce any possible risk. But we can’t help for something unexpected to happen. Her pregnancy was weak since the start. In case something happen between the mother and the babies, all of you should choose either the mother to survive, or the babies.”

Leeteuk sigh as he wiped his face. Four hours almost five, and he can’t choose. He don’t want to be in the position where he had to choose his wife, or his babies. He can’t just choose Taeyeon and let the innocent babies that even never had the chance to look at the world gone. But he couldn’t choose the babies when the love of his life would be the one that he had to sacrifice. They mean so much to him.

A year of marriage with her had been nothing but full of blessed. He really felt how it’s like to be a husband. He could felt how it’s like to be a father every time he heard his babies kick in her stomach, despite her that could only lean weakly on the bed. A year of marriage, they still hadn’t fulfilled all the list Taeyeon want. After their honeymoon at Jeju, slowly they start to fulfilled her wish, even though with the piles of works waiting for him after their return. At least, he was glad, Taeyeon won’t be worry about her works anymore as she decided to stop working and devoted herself as a good wife and daughter in law. She had decided to start her own business after she realize her passion from her world tour. Baking. She start to build her own bakery shop, trying to find any ideas for her bakery shop. But the shop had to stay postpone for Taeyeon weak conditions.

You need to stay strong. You can’t give up. I know you’re strong. He keep saying the same thing over and over his mind. Like a prayer. Like a spells.

Three doctors that handle Taeyeon labor went out after their almost five hours inside. They pulled out the mask and the tired face of them was obvious. Leeteuk stand up and wait for the doctors to tell them the condition of his wife and his babies. The wide and also soundproof of the emergency room make it hard to catch any baby sounds.

One of the doctors, look at Leeteuk and smile. “Congratulations. It’s baby boy and baby girl. The baby boy was early two minutes than the baby girl. Both of them are healthy.” All people sigh in relieved knowing the babies were born healthy.

“My wife?”

One of the doctors replied. “Mrs. Park was weak since the first time she enter the room. The almost five hours laboring had make her exhausted. We’re sorry to say that Mrs. Park, had went for a coma. We couldn’t make sure when she’ll wake up. But her conditions had been better, nothing to worry about that.”

The doctors excused themself and soon after, the double metal door was being open. The nurses were pushing Taeyeon cart. Behind them were two baby box where his twin sleep silently there. The moment the nurses push Taeyeon gurney pass him, he stop them. He went to Taeyeon and hold her hands. She looks pale. Her hands also went cold. And she’s asleep. She’s asleep for the time they couldn’t tell. But knowing both mother and babies make it out survived, he felt relieved. At least Taeyeon conditions had been better.

He nodded his head to the nurses and they push Taeyeon gurney, disappearing from the place, heading to the VVIP room the Park had prepared for her and also the babies. Right, the babies. He turned around and saw the whole family had been crowding the still sleeping babies. The boy was wrapped in the blue blanket, and the girl was wrapped in the pink blanket. He went to them and gaze at their sleeping face. They look identical. Just in one glance he know who the twin resemble. It’s him. But both the twin had their mother nose. The pointed nose.

He smile. God had answer his prayer. He thanks God for every prayer he had. For saving the woman of his life, and their newborn babies. Now, they only need to waited for the mother to wake up and carry the twin in her arms.

He hold her hand that was free from the IV drip as he patiently waited for her to wake up. It’s been 12 hours and she still in her sleep. He doesn’t want to say she’s in coma, he want it to know she only asleep. She will wake up soon for she had twin waiting for her. The cries make him turn his head. His mother in law was there with him, waiting for Taeyeon and also to look after the twin that was put in the same room as their mother.

She carry the boy to her arms, but she couldn’t carry the girl that also cry in her baby bed. Leeteuk went over and carry the baby girl. He tried to calm his baby girl, yet the baby still crying in his arms. No different with the baby boy also.

“Seems like they need breastfeeds.” he look at his mother in law and back to his twin. He had no idea how to get them breastfeed when the mother still in long sleep.

Mrs. Goo seems to understand his confused state. She patted the baby boy gently trying to calm him. They both had been crying in the same time, and they won’t stop crying. She then walk to the sleeping Taeyeon with the baby boy in her arms. Leeteuk look at her in confused.

“Can you help eomma?” he walked over to his mother in law and stood beside Taeyeon bed with the still crying baby girl in his arms.

After setting the bed position to make Taeyeon sitting, Mrs. Goo slowly unbutton Taeyeon hospital shirt with her one hand, with the help of Leeteuk unbuttoning her shirt. Mrs. Goo open her shirt, revealing the naked chest Taeyeon and lay the baby boy under her breast. The baby boy then took his mom nipple and start sucking on it. His cry had died down.

Leeteuk was amazed as he never thought of that. Mrs. Goo holding the baby boy while he had his meal. The baby girl still crying in his arms, asking for her turn soon. He tried to calm her baby girl a bit, but it only went more louder.

Mrs. Goo kept her smile as she noticed Leeteuk look surprised with his sudden baby girl loud cry. She gaze at her daughter and the baby boy. She really wish Taeyeon would wake up soon. But her daughter need a rest. She had been fighting for a long hours.

She took the baby boy and let him sleep in the baby bed. He had went to sleep after fill his stomach. Then she took the baby girl in his arms and did the same thing as she did to the baby boy before. The baby girl cried had die down slowly.

Leeteuk smile warmly. It’s okay. He know Taeyeon was tired after fighting all the pain. A little rest won’t hurt, right?  

“Have you decided what to name them?” Mrs. Goo break the silence as she eyed the baby girl had her breast milk.

“I’m waiting for Taeyeon to wake up.”

Mrs. Goo look at him and smile.

Leeteuk want to name their twin together after Taeyeon wake up. He had no idea their twin would be boy and girl. He thought it would be twin boy, or twin girl. They never did the USG to know their babies gender. Taeyeon can’t walk for a long distance, and only a walk from the elevator to the doctor rooms had tired her. Therefore they decided to make their babies gender a surprise for them. All her pregnancy had been spent at the mansion. Though it’s boring, it’s still safer. There’s a nurse that would tend her needs when Leeteuk went to company. She doesn’t have to worry for the hot weather that she’s sure won’t be able to hold on. And it’s also ease her pain a bit if she didn’t went out.

Mrs. Goo then carry the baby girl back to the baby bed, while Leeteuk button her shirt and settle her back in the sleeping position. He kiss her head and smile warmly before heading to his babies. They had went asleep after filling their starving stomach.

He touch both the baby softly, afraid of waking them up.

Eomma only need some sleeps. But she will wake up soon. Be a good boy and girl while eomma is asleep, okay? Both the twin move a bit in their sleep as if agree with their dad words.

Mrs. Goo smiled seeing the loving look Leeteuk gave to the twin. Taeyeon really choose the right person. She didn’t regret giving her daughter to him. The man that would love her daughter no matter what.

Leeteuk patted his daughter as he let her sleep in Taeyeon arms. The baby girl cried suddenly, and he had no idea what the baby girl want this time. He thought of giving her a breast milk, but she refused. Mrs. Goo had went back to the mansion after a night staying here, and will come back again later at lunch.

He had patted her trying to stop her crying, swaying left and right like how he saw his mother in law did to calm them crying. But none of it works. He doesn’t know how, but a thought suddenly crossed his minds. Maybe a father instinct. He lay her beside her mom. Spreading Taeyeon arms to make it look like she also hug her daughter. And it did the magic. The baby girl cried had die down, and went to sleep after she felt her mom warm hands in her.

He couldn’t help but smile seeing the scene before him. It will be more complete again if Taeyeon wake up now. The third day, and Taeyeon still hasn’t awake yet. He patted his daughter gently, but his eyes darted to the now awake baby boy. He eyed the baby girl and after assured she won’t wake up and her positions is safe, he went to the baby boy.

He wonder if he should did the same like how he did with the baby girl. But no one is here other than him, and he couldn’t risk if he was careless in taking care of them and end up one of them get hurt. He just carry the baby boy in his arms, while patting him.

The baby boy smile seeing his father. And Leeteuk couldn’t help but smile. The baby boy raised his small hands, and Leeteuk touch it. The baby boy catch his pointed finger and hold it while smiling. Ah, he felt his heart warm just by seeing his boy smiling to him while holding his finger.

Then his eyes caught something. Taeyeon fingers start moving, although in a slow motion. He waited in heart drumming. Slowly, those eyes had open after her three days asleep. She blinked slowly and look around her. All white. But she could smell a baby powder in the room.

“Taeyeon..” Leeteuk called out softly, averting her gaze to him.

She smile to him weakly, and her eyes darted to the baby boy in his arms. She widened her eyes and about to reach him, but she felt something under her arms. She look at her right. Another baby was sleeping in her arms. Her tears of happiness just burst out.

“Hey, hey. Why are you crying?” Leeteuk panicked a bit as he saw her crying suddenly.

She shook her head weakly. Still hasn’t regain her energy back after her long sleep.

“They..” she whispered to him, unable to continued.

“Yes.. it’s our twin. It’s boy and girl.” he mumbled in her hair as he kiss her.

He then put the baby boy in her arms and carry the girl in his. He shift the bed so Taeyeon could sit straight now. She eyed the baby boy which is smiling at her now. Feeling happy seeing his mother for the first time, wide awake. He move in her hold for too much happy.

Leeteuk sit at the bed, holding the girl. He can tell how Taeyeon is amazed seeing her twin that she carry anywhere for 9 months now look fragile and cute before her.

“We haven’t named them.” he told her.

She then shift her gaze to the baby girl beside her on his arms. They really assemble their father.

“I thought of Leo for him. What do you think?”

Leeteuk pondered for a while and nodded his head. “Park Leo. Not bad.”

He look at his daughter that was sleeping soundly in his arms.

“And her..” Taeyeon trailed off. Her mind was thinking of the name for her.

“Park Lea.” she turned her head to Leeteuk. “Park Lea. what do you think?”

A soft smile escaped her lips. She nodded her head. “Leo and Lea. they sync each other.” she caressed Leo cheeks and he laugh.

“Annyeong, Leo-ya.. Did you wait for eomma long?” Leo only smile as Taeyeon ask him that also infected to her. She smile. She turn her gaze and found him looking at her intently. She close her eyes as Leeteuk leaned in and kiss her head.

“Thank you.” he mumbled to her softly. “For giving me a family.”

Taeyeon smile. She rested her head on his shoulder as she played with Leo in her arms. She would once in awhile look at her daughter in his arms. Her daughter still enjoying her sleep in the built arms of her father. She sigh inwardly. She felt complete. She has a loving husband, and a cute twin. She really is blessed.

Taeyeon laugh as the boys play with Lea in her arms. The next day after she has awake, the news has spread. Her family had came to visit her and the twin. Jaein and the boys. Sandeul and Nayoung, the newly engaged Jooeun and Donghae, and the still bickering Minah and Jookyung. Hara had been playing with Leo in her arms as she play peek a boo with him and he laugh with it. That sister of her had started to accept her in the family, although she still rarely show her affection to Taeyeon.

Luckily the room was a VVIP and soundproof. so matter how much people in it, it still large enough to fit another 20 people, and the noise won’t bother other people. She eyed the people that came. The boys had been crowding over Lea, saying who will she marry later when she grow up amongst the boys.

“No, no, no. Lea can’t be someone gross like you. I would fit her better.” Chan blinked his eyes sweetly to Lea, and she laugh happily.

Taeyeon couldn’t help but laugh as the boys still in the debating of Lea future husband. Though it’s noisy and crowded, the twin didn’t felt like crying for meeting strangers. The twin laugh and smile when the boys or others play with them.

“Mommy, can I touch her?” Jaein look at her from beside her. She had been sitting at the bed, staring at Lea. it’s her first time seeing a newborn baby. They look small and fragile.

“Sure, Jaeinnie.”

Jaein then held out her hand and touch Lea cheeks. It soft, and chubby considering her still a few days old. Lea smile as Jaein poke her softly. And the boys coo like a fanboy seeing Lea laugh. Some of them even record it.

“Noona, can I marry her in the future?” Dowoon got a head smack in the back by his other friends after his questions. Taeyeon could only laugh at his questions.

“Who said you can marry her? You dumbass.” Dowoon pouted as he rub his head.

“Honju.”

“Ops. Sorry, noona.” Honju smiled apologetically as he realize the words he just said in front of Jaein and the newborn Lea. And he end up rubbing his head for getting the same head smack from the boys.

Eunwoo crossed his arms as he only sit at the chair beside the bed watching his friends. But once a while would get up only to slap Dowoon or Honju head. He felt someone watching her. Turn out his noona, a meaningful smile. Eh? He raised his brows.

“If I got to choose..” the boys and Jaein listen to her as she trailed off. “..I would like Eunwoo for my son in law.” they balk as Taeyeon only kept her laugh seeing their expressions. She turn to Jaein which took out her thumbs to her.

“This snow white?” they pointed to Eunwoo which rolled his eyes.

“Ouch! Yah!” he glare as he got a smack from his friends.

“Aish, noona.” he whined as he smelled something fishy from his noona.

She laugh seeing the flustered look in him. “Amongst the boys, you’re the calmer one. I want a son in law like you though.” now Eunwoo got a glares from his friends.
