Sad news for fans of FRESH UP, the Japanese unit of Korean girl group FRESH. FRESH UP will disband according to Big Hit Entertainment.

Big Hit Entertainment released today that FRESH UP will disband but not FRESH, the group who promotes in Korea. The company left this message;

"We [Big Hit Entertainment] bring news that FRESH UP, the Japanese unit will disband as of today. But FRESH, the Korean unit will still be running as a group and will also promote in Japan when they can. This descision was made after some long talks with the members. But we hope you support everyone as they contiune their path as K-Pop idols."

Big Hit Entertainment did not clarify if the FRESH UP members will join FRESH or they'll be dropped out of the group. We will wait for more updates on this situation.
