“Girls night out this Saturday. Is everyone free?" Saem announced out of the blue. Erin, who just came out from the therapy room, flashed an appproving grin. "How about you, Haekyung-ah?" Saem asked me.

I put down the pen and looked at her once again. "I'll pass. I'm not free this Saturday."

"What on earth are you saying?" Erin asked me. I didn't notice her already on my side until she spoke. "You're busy because...?"

"I have a schedule for that day. For that night, I mean." I told them. Three pairs of eyes looked at me suspiciously. I wanted to laugh but I forced myself not to. I don't want them to know. No. Not yet. I just don't want to be teased that's all.

"What's this Saturday?" Kyungri finally spoke. "It isn't HaeSeok's birthday right?" I shook my head.

"Then what is it? Come on, tell us." Saem looked at me with her big doe eyes.

"Do you have a date, mm?" Erin nudged me with her elbow and I couldn't help but laugh when I saw her winking at me. "Just tell us already. Stop with the suspense please."

I laughed. "Okay, fine. Yes, I got asked for a dinner by someone." I finally said and the room filled with squeals and giggles.

"Really? Who is it?" Saem asked excitedly.

"Don't tell me it's that Choi jerk once again," Kyungri pressed her lips together, looking annoyed.

"Hell, no." I scoffed. "I'm not going out with that again. This someone is um, another guy. And nope. You guys don't know him. And he's harmless. Really. I swear guys, he's far better, so much better than that Choi jerk."

"How do you know?"

"HaeSeok knows him. He calls him 'uncle'." I told them. "I don't know if it's regularly but he visits the day-care center. I've met him many times and he's pretty harmless to me. He even saved me when Mr Choi harassed me at the parking lot."

"Oh." It was Kyungri and a sign of relief was written on her face. She's really so protective of me I wanted to cry. "Then I think you'll be in good hands this Saturday."

I couldn't stop the laugh from slipping in my throat. "Yes, I am. Thanks for the worry, Kyungri-ah."

"Well, just call us if everything goes wrong okay?" Erin smiled.

I smiled back. "Thanks."

"Just bring HaeSeok in my apartment." Kyungri said. "Nana will stay with me this weekend. She could take care of HaeSeok for a while." Nana was Kyungri's fifty-five year old nanny. Her nanny would sometimes visit her in her apartment. They were attached to each other ever since Kyungri was little.

"I will. Thanks again." I told her.

Erin placed her chin on her palm as she looked at me. "I'm so curious what's he look like. Could you take a picture of him for us?" She said and I laughed.

"I'll try." I said as I sipped on my soy milk.

"Or maybe we should sneak in during their date?" Saem suggested and I choked.

"No, please don't do that or I'll be awkward." I told them, hoping Saem was just joking and the others won't agree with her idea. "You don't want me to be awkward with a guy, don't you?"

Kyungri looked at Saem, giving her a look that said it's-a-stupid-idea. I could sigh thankfully for that.
