New Beginning?
Bus No.07A few days passed and Soomi was finally given the permission to go back home after running some tests. Her father was extremely happy to have her back home and same goes to Sehun. Soomi on the other hand didn't know how to feel. After being informed that she doesn't remember what has happened for the past 11 months plus was scary enough. It was like she's been asleep for almost a year. It was something that scared her but at the same time, she was okay with it. It was more of her being confused and trying to adapt to it.
"So how does it feel?", Sehun asked watching Soomi walk around her room that seemed to have changed to her. Decorations were different and the furnitures in her room seemed to have moved as well. Well, even your room can change in a year you know. Nothing stays completely the same does it. A year changes a lot of things. Soomi looked at Sehun and smiled as if something was weird. "It feels the same but at the same time different. You know what I mean?", she asked and Sehun chuckled as he nodded his head.
Sehun moved closer to Soomi, "I understand but you can take as much time to get used to it all alright?", he said before hugging Soomi out of the blue. Soomi hugged him back but her eyes were confused. Sehun hugged her ever so tightly. This was the only way he could express how happy he way is to see that Soomi is still around. "I'm just happy that you're back. What would I do without you?", he asked and Soomi laughed. "Aish, you'll know exactly what to do but I'm glad to be back Sehun-ah", she said as Sehun let her go with a smiled plastered to his face.
"But Sehun-ah, would you do me a favour?", Soomi asked and Sehun nodded immediately. Soomi somehow looked nervous, "I want to meet those I don't remember", she said and Sehun's eyes widened with shocked. "Really?", he asked and Soomi nodded with a small smile appearing on her face. Sehun smiled then, he was glad to know that Soomi wasn't afraid when it comes to meeting those she forgot once again. Instead, she was facing her fears. "Alright. Let's meet them in an hour. They are all waiting for you actually", Sehun let out his little secret and it made Soomi laugh.
"That's the laugh I missed so much", Sehun said tucking Soomi's hair behind her right ear. Soomi smiled, "You were really scared weren't you?", she asked but this time she waa serious. She noticed how Sehun's actions had changed. He kept telling her how happy he is, how glad he is and how relieved he is. Sehun's smile disappeared as he sat on Soomi's bed and soon enough Soomi sat beside him; facing the wide open window. "There was so much that we planned to do and just like that, it was going to be taken away from you. What was I going to do when you're suppose to be there to do it with me? I wouldn't be able to do it all anymore because it'll remind me of the pain but when you were asleep, I promised you still to do it because I wanted to accomplish our dreams for you", Sehun began to say but there was already tears in Soomi's eyes.
"So many hearts were broken knowing you might not make it. So much tears were shed. So much temper were thrown. So many people sent their prayers but you were a miracle Soomi. You answered everyone's prayer by waking up at the last minute", he continued speaking; even his own eyes were teary thinking abou tthe struggle they all went through. Sehun sniffed and continued speaking, "I had so much to say and we were all in a position where you were never going to hear it Soomi." Soomi sniffed as she wiped her tears away, a smile appeared on his face.
"And what was it that I was never going to hear?", she asked with a grin on her face and Sehun froze in place. Was he to tell her the truth? He never lied to her before too. Sehun scratched his head, "Ahh, you don't need to know it anymore", he said but Soomi frowned. "Ya... don't you want me to know how much you value our friendship? You always tell me everything", she said but she didn't know she was actually digging information that might just ruin the both of them. Sehun's smile disappeared, "Well... the thing that you weren't going to hear was... goodbye... I didn't get to say goodbye", Sehun said stalling as he tried to come up with another excuse but Soomi was much faster than he was.
"Ya... Really?", she said and Sehun gave up. Soomi was always a step ahead of him. Always. Sehun let out a sigh, "Goodbye was one thing for sure but the other was...", Sehun stopped and looked at Soomi. She was rather clueless and it was his decision whether to tell his best friend that he is in love with her or to stay this way for much longer. A part of him wants to tell her but a part of him doesn't want to as well. He was confused. He was lost at that very moment. He was afraid; afraid he might lose her either way.
"The other part was that...", Sehun look at Soomi once more. He loves her and he
