Tension.
Bus No.07Upon reaching her home sweet home, Soomi went straight to her room. She felt so dumbfounded ever since the incident happened earlier on at the beach. It was even awfully quiet on the bus ride home. Lay and herself could feel the awkward atmosphere among the two of them but without doubt, like the human beings we are, we try to make it 'not' awkward. Soomi sat on her bed in her pyjamas after cleaning up and kept thinking to herself about Lay and the moment they had earlier. How was it so pleasant for a moment and absolutely devastating the moment after? How does the universe really work in our heads? How was it possible to be happy at one point and so depressing the next? With a ringing of her phone, Soomi's attention went straight to pick up her phone that was charging beside her on the end table; beside her bed. It was the group talking in their group chat. The group chat has gotten much bigger now that both groups from both schools are in one now. Everyone was already excited about their bus ride to Soomi's house after school the next day that they kept planning and talking about who sits next to who. In Soomi's mind, she thought about if it was a good idea if she sat on her seat beside Lay, where she would always be seated at. Yet, it still came back to him. It still came back to the thoughts of Lay. In such a short time, can she simply think so much of a person already? Soomi smiled to herself. She decided to just let herself decide tomorrow with everyone there but a part of her wanted to be seated there beside him; where she'd be comfortable. As the group continued talking, Soomi sat her phone down and decided that she was ready for bed. She didn't want to let herself think anymore until she phone rang again but this time it was a different sound. It was a ringtone that signalled it to be a private message on her phone. Soomi hesitated to reply after seeing the message but it was a little to late to not reply as it can be seen that she had read the message.
Text Message:
Lay : Are you asleep?
Soomi : I don't think I am. Or is this me replying in my sleep?
Lay : Hahaha why aren't you asleep? Are you alright?
Soomi : Why aren't you asleep yourself? Yes, I'm good.
Lay : I can't seem to sleep. Been thinking a lot, that's all. Oh and I want to take you somewhere. A secret place.
Soomi : Where?
Lay : It's a secret. I'd have to blind fold you to take you there.
Soomi : Just don't kidnap me for all I know. Haha
Lay : Promise I won't. Now try to get some sleep.
Soomi : Let's go the day after tomorrow after school? Goodnight Yixing.
Lay : Goodnight Soomi. I hope you had fun today. Sweet dreams :)
Seeing the last message from Lay, Soomi frowned. Was she suppose to have a good time despite having that last moment on the beach with him that made everything complicated for her? Was she suppose to be okay or was she suppose to pretend that it never happened? Soomi shook her head as if shaking her head would take away all those thoughts from her mind. Placing her phone once more on the end table beside her bed, she tucked herself in and switched off the night lights; hoping she'd get some good night sleep for a moment before she faces more encounters when she wakes up tomorrow morning.

The next day after school, Soomi and the boys head straight to the bus stop. All the boys were really excited about spending time at Soomi's house; not to mention dinner as Sehun claims that her dad's the best cook. Soomi on the other hand was really nervous about the bus ride. She wasn't sure if sitting at her usual would be a good idea. Everyone would be shocked she thought as they do know that Lay and herself has been riding the same bus for quite sometime now but they never knew how close they've grown over time as well. Close enough for them to think of them to be more than friends but then she thought about how one of the boys from the other school would probably be seated beside Lay already. So she didn't need to worry about it anymore.
As the bus arrived at their specific stop, Soomi didn't dare to even look at the bus. She just picked up her bag and followed the boys from the back with Sehun infront of her. Walking up the bus, the group was already making so much noise when they meet each other before settling down. Soomi finally lifted her head up and found everyone comfortable in their seats until her attention was caught by Lay who was already looking at her with a slight smile on his face and it caught her even more by surprise when she saw the seat beside him was empty. "Ya, Soomi! Lay said you always seat beside him so we thought you'd be comfortable sitting there", Suho said thoughtfully with Luhan beside him since he was already the one being wise leader type among all of them. Soomi looked rather confused at first until she realised that the seat was empty and it was meant to be empty until she takes the seat to herself. Luhan however had his head low; not liking what was happening at all. Soomi smiled slightly and took her seat. "Hey", Lay said softly so that only Soomi can hear before putting his earphones on his right ear; pretending to listen to music but he wasn't at all. He just wanted to look occupied and casual. To pretty much act and play it cool with Soomi and the rest of the group around. Soomie smiled and began meddling with her phone as she unlocked it. Was she really suppose to pretend that nothing happened the day before when they were at the beach? On the other hand, Lay and Soomi began talking and laughing as Lay shared stories of his day to Soomi and from the back, Luhan was watching them with a very sharp eye. Eagle eyes. He felt the strong jealosy churning in his stomach, ready to burst. It was bursting through him and he couldn't stand just sitting there and simply do nothing about it. Immediately, Luhan stood up as the bus set off and made his way to Soomi who was in the front. "Lay, can you switch places with me? I want to sit beside Soomi", he said which caught everyone's attention in the bus by surprised to hear Luhan who was speaking quite loud. Lay and Soomi looked up at Luhan from laughing and their expressions changed immediately as they heard what Luhan uttered loudly and publically. Lay was awkward for a moment, but without hesitations he stood up giving up his seat but Soomi somehow didn't want Lay to give up his seat. She didn't want him to move at all. She wanted him where he was and where he's always been. There. Not taking a moment of hesitant, Soomi grabbed Lay by his wrist before he could squeeze himself out and looked up at him straight; forgetting that Luhan and the rest was around. Luhan, Lay and the rest of the boys looked at Soomi with a weird look. Attention was all on hers. Soomi looked down to her hand that was holding on to Lay and
