Lay woke up the morning somehow feeling a little more energetic than he usually would. He even went down to join his family for breakfast which they were really surprised off. He was somehow feeling enlightened from the day before. Like he found energy or like a found something new that he's excited about but he didn't even notice it. Lay went back up to his room after helping his mum clear out the table, he noticed how he had enough time to get dressed and head out since the group decided to have a small picnic that day since the day before, they started craving for food but none of them brought any; giving them an idea that they should have a picnic. Lay's mom even packed some food for him while he got himself dressed. Lay's mother smiled as Lay came back down with a smile on his face. He thanked her for the food and even kissed her on the cheek before leaving. Lay headed straight for the bus station, he waited for approximately 10 minutes until the bus arrived. He didn't wear one of his hoodie like he usually would; especially when he takes the bus. He wore a grey shirt under his black coat with his bag pack on his back. If a person that knows Lay well, they would say that he's glowing on that particular day. As he got into the bus, the turned to make his way to his seat and noticed Soomi sitting there at her usual seat while playing with her phone; not realizing his presence just yet.

Lay titled his head and smiled to himself, he suddenly felt weird with the fact they both continued to sit where they always do even after finding out each other's identity. It was weird how it wasn't weird. He was pretty much contradicting himself at that moment until Soomi looked up and saw him which snapped him out of his mind. Lay smiled and immediately made his way to his seat with Soomi turning her body to the side while he slide himself through. Soomi looked down to the paper bag that Lay placed by his leg and smiled, "What did you bring?", she asked turning to Lay. Lay looked down at the paper bag, "Umm, some small snacks that the boys like. Did you bring anything?", he asked back and received a nod from Soomi. "My dad packed some kimbab for us all", she said almost smiling. The two went quiet after that, it's like they don't know what else to say to each other until Soomi started bickering around to break the awkward silence between them. Soomi was best at it. "Lay...", she said which got Lay to turn his head towards her questioning her since she called after him. Soomi showed a thinking face, "What kind of name is that?", she asked joking almost sounding like she was insulting him. Lay chuckled, "That's not my real name. It's a name easier for people to call me", he shared a little secret which got Soomi interested. Soomi turned her head to him in a questioning manner, "Then what's your real name?", she asked like a small child which made Lay smile seeing it. Lay cleared his throat, a little nervous. "Zhang Yixing", he said but it only made Soomi show him an even more confused expression.

Soomi narrowed her eyebrows, "You're Chinese?", she asked in a whisper manner a little surprised with the name she heard. Lay laughed looking out of the window and then back to Soomi who was still looking at him, "And you're Korean?", he asked sarcastically back. Soomi sat up straight hearing the response, "Ahh, you look Korean. I didn't know", she said backing up her embarrassment. Lay smiled, "A lot of people can't tell either. Especially when they call me Lay instead", he shared his brief of his own experience. Soomi nodded as she understood they whole situation for Lay but she was a little bit still shock that she found out he's Chinese. "Wanna bet how many times Chanyeol and Baekhyun will fight today?", Lay asked due to their the small bet they had the day before which got Soomi to smile thinking about it since Lay won without second guessings. Soomi nodded, "Make your guest first then", she said with a mischievous look on her face. Lay smiled seeing her expression and then turned his head forward with his eye closed, "They'll probably fight 7 times today", he said opening his eyes and turning back to Soomi for her answer. Soomi's expression went lost, "Why must you close your eyes like that? Are you pyshic?", she said tilting her head with wide eyes questioning which made Lay smiled. He suddenly thought her actions were a little cute. Soomi then faced forward and closed her, "Does it really help? Hmm...", she started thinking quietly but Lay just laughed watching her being silly. "Ah! 6!", she said turning towards Lay with her fingers snapping as if she shouted 'BINGO!'. Lay laughed even more watching her before he nodded with a smile, "Deal", he said offering a handshake that Soomi greeted warmly without any hesitations.

When they arrived, Lay and Soomi was already bickering around with each other; pushing each other lightly by the shoulder and was even laughing hard with each other's statements or jokes as they made their way to the gazebo where everyone was already at setting up the picnic. "You should smile more", Soomi said; making Lay's laughter fade away into a very aware expression appearing on his face. Soomi smiled, "It's really nice when you smile. It's like I'm looking at the sun... Your smile gives a very refreshing feeling, like a healing smile", she said looking at Lay who was watching his own feet walk on the ground but her statement suddenly made him smile. He looked up and turned his head so that he could see Soomi. "Arrasso, I'll smile a lot more. Okay?", he said smiling offering Soomi a pinky swear that was returned immediately. Soomi nodded, "Deal", she said while Sehun was watching them quietly from the gazebo as they came nearer. Sehun suddenly felt worried, as if something wasn't right. Or like he has a bad feeling about something and he couldn't figure it out at the same time. It was all the feelings jumbled up together; mixed feelings. He shook his head and turned towards Luhan's direction; Luhan who suddenly stood up from straightening out the cloth placed on the ground with a confused look on his face. "Is it me or I hear Soomi's voice?", he asked around before turnign to Sehun who was already next to him. Sehun coughed fakely, "I don't hear her voice but she should be here soon right? Maybe it's your consious hyung...", he said distracting Luhan who had his back towards Soomi and Lay who arrived at the gazebo right on cue. Soomi quickly told Lay that she's going to help Kyungsoo as she waved goodye and ran off while Lay went up the gazebo to Luhan and Sehun.

"Oh, Lay hyung you've arrived?", Luhan said when he turned around to see Lay who brought all the food with him; including the one that Soomi brought. Lay nodded with a slight smile appearing on his face which was giving a very different vibe then he usually would, "Nae, just a while ago. Is there anything I can help with?", he asked. From what Sehun and Luhan was seeing, Lay was very different that day. He was happier than his usual self; he was enlightened. Luhan smiled seeing Lay the way he is though, "I'm going to find Soomi. I think I hear her and Kyungsoo talking", he said which got Lay's expression to sunk a little as Luhan left and Sehun who immediately ran over to Kai and Kris to help them out with the drinks that they brought. Lay looked over to his left and found Luhan already with Soomi and he even had his arm around her. Turning away, he remembered that he needed to smile more; words from Soomi just the way he recalls it. Smiling slightly, he placed the food he was carrying and found Xiumin and Chen struggling with some wood that they found to start a campire. They were planning to stay there until quite late before heading home. A one day trip, in other words. On the other hand, Luhan greeted Soomi as he placed his arms around her which was a little shocking for Soomi with his actions. "When did you arrive? You should have came to see me first", he said smiling happily at Soomi. Soomi smiled, "Oh Luhan? Oh, just a while ago. is there anything I can help you with?", she asked which made Luhan's expression changed for awhile. What Soomi just said reminded him of exactly what Lay had said when Luhan greeted him earlier. Luhan quickly smiled, "Oh, wanna take a walk around the park?", he asked. Soomi gave Luhan a little unaware look but then turned to Kyungsoo; as if she was lost but at the same time finding a reason to stay but Luhan beat her to it. "Kyungsoo-ah, can I borrow Soomi for awhile? I promise to send her right back to you", he asked receiving a tease from Kyungsoo in return. "Aish, don't make me a three here. Go ahead", he said ending his sentence with a simple wink towards Luhan who already took Soomi's arm and clung it around his.

Soomi wasn't able to do anything, she was trying to adjust herself to everything. Everything was going too fast for her at the moment. She even had a worried and startled look on her face the whole time because Luhan was practically grabbing everyone's attentions. "Ya, Luhan hyung is taking a step further. Are you seeing this?", Tao said to Suho, Chanyeol and Baekhyun who were playing around with the frizbee already. Everyone turned towards the victims and was a little curious. "I bet there's something bad going to happen... It's either today or tomorrow", Tao continued speaking before receiving a whack from Baekhyun, "Don't simply speak. You're not god to say that", Suho said furiously but then Tao immediately backed up himself, "But I really think so hyung", he said scratching his head as he continued to watch Luhan and Soomi who was getting further and further as they walked. Lay on the other hand suddenly glanced over and found himself looking at Luhan and Soomi with their backs facing him. He smiled to himself, "Hyung's lucky to have Soomi", he said to Sehun. Sehun walked over to Lay and watched with him, he had that bad feeling again until it was forgotten when Lay spoke once more. "He's lucky just the way I was when I was with Jisoo. We walked around the park just like that when we had a picnic with the group", he said. Sehun immediately had a sympathetic look on his face. It was a sad thing to hear when Lay reminiscened about his lovely past. Sehun then suddenly thought of Soomi, realizing that Soomi was the only one who knew nothing about Lay's past since they seemed to coincidentally talk about Lay when she's somehow not around. He then grew worried once more, and it was bugging him a lot.

*Flashback*

"Oppa, this is really nice", Jisoo said smiling as she looked around. Lay smiled brightly, "Really? We should come more often then", he said grabbing Jisoo's hand naturally and intertwined their fingers together. Jisoo smiled looking at their hands which was collided together, and let out a heavy sigh as a sad look appeared on her face for a little while until Lay spoke and she quickly covered it up. "I love to walking with you", he said letting out his feelings which made Jisoo smile with a little sadness hanging around in her eyes. She quick nodded her head, "Nado", she said covering her voice which was cracking a little; causing her to quickl clear too. Lay looked up at the sky, "Do you think in a few years time... we'll be doing this right now?", he asked questioning the future but Jisoo walked beside him w
