Here Comes the
I Fell in Love with My Best Friend
After parting with Luhan, I felt relieved. I knew for sure that Luhan did not bear any hard feelings or grudges toward me, and I was glad for that. He was simply too kind and forgiving. What did I ever do to deserve him? I didn’t deserve him.
I opened the door and inched inside. Right next to the shoe rack was a pair of brown lace-up ankle booties. They looked so foreign - they weren’t mine...so whose were they?
“Haha, Yifan! You’re too funny!” a high-pitched shriek echoed in the living room and Kris responded with a hearty chortle. Oh, that answered the question.
“Jan, you’re home?” Kris looked up from his book.
“Yeah.”
“Oh, you guys live together?” I felt Xinyi’s glare on me. Usually - well, I meant if it was someone other than Jiayi, I would had immediately cleared up the situation. But this time around, I simply smirked at Jiayi and sat on the loveseat across from where they were studying on the coffee table.
“Yeah,” Kris simply answered. “Jan, you got your cast off.”
No, , Sherlock. And like you even cared. “Yeah,” I half-heartedly answered and proceeded to turn on the TV. How were you guys going to study now, huh?
“I’ll get you some juice and some fruit,” Kris got up and disappeared into the kitchen.
