Luhan took me to the infirmary, and the nurse called for an ambulance to send me to the hospital because my ankle was so swollen that it looked like an elephant’s leg.
Torn ligaments and huge case, here I come.
After Luhan fetched our bags and coats, we boarded the ambulance. In ten minutes, we arrived at Beijing Hospital.
In short, I luckily only tore one ligament, so I only had to wear a cement cast for two weeks and a brace for two additional months. I guess I was lucky, but I certainly would have been much luckier if that didn’t shove me in the first place.
Luhan accompanied me on the taxi ride home and helped me into the apartment.
“Here,” he handed me my painkillers when we were in front of the door. I let go of one of my crutches and secured it with arm to take my prescription. Sensing my difficulty, he offered to help me into the apartment, “Are you sure you don’t need any help?”
“I’m sure, Luhan. I’ll be fine. I’m not handicapped, yet, am I?” I joked, but I didn’t sense any sign of a smile or laugh coming from Luhan.
