I Fell in Love with My Best Friend
I had to tell someone. I had to tell someone. I had to tell someone!
I think Luhan was my best friend!
Oh my gosh!
But I couldn’t tell Kris. Why? Well, we haven’t been on the best terms lately - he would hang out with Tao, Xinyi, and their friends while I hung out with Luhan and Lay. We didn’t talk at all in school. The only times we would actually talk would be when he woke me up in the morning and on our walks to school. After school, one would expect us to talk more since we lived together, but we barely said a word to each other! Anyway, we grew apart from each other so much these past few weeks it was almost unbelievable. But I had to believe it. And that fact depressed me. What happened to our late-night talks? What happened to our random strolls around the city? What happened to our movie nights? What happened to our game nights? What happened to him? What happened to me? He caught me looking each time, and quickly looked away after meeting eyes with me. That never happened when I talked with Lay or Tao or anyone else, but with Luhan, it happened every single time.
And so, I decided to call my other best friend from the States - Joanna.
“Hello? Who’s this?”
“Jojo! I’ve missed you!”
“Wh-Jan? Janice? Janice Ouyang?!”
“Yes! It’
