At 8 p.m. sharp the guests poured in the Kim family “palace.” Most of them were excited to meet the girl marrying the future boss.

“I heard she was raised in America.”

“I heard she was richer than L himself.”

“Do you suppose she’s pretty?”

Not everyone was pleased with L marrying though, many of the girls who worshiped him mourned.

“I CANNOT BELIEVE HE NEVER TOLD ME HE WAS GETTING MARRIED!”

“I bet she forced my prince to marry her.”

“Is she richer than me?”

“There’s no possible way she’s prettier than me right? Right?”

The bottom line was that everyone expected a goddess like, rich girl to be the lucky (HA!) wife of Wooliment Corporation’s heir.

Your POV

The both of you stopped in front of huge doors.

“Try not to embarrass me k?" 

You gritted your teeth, “No problem…hubby.”

He stared at you, “It’s gonna be a long dinner.”

L used his free hand to grab the handles of the door, and then he pulled.

*He'd better pay me extra for this…*

You took in one last deep breath before the oak doors swung opened.

“Everyone, I would first like to thank you for attending this dinner on such short notice. I would also like to introduce my future granddaughter, ~~~~~~.” Grandpa announced.

You felt everyone’s eyes on you.

“Bow!” L hissed.

You bowed, and went up shakily.

The room erupted with noise as everyone conversed.

L unhooked his arm from you.“Good luck!”

“You’re leaving me alone??” You hissed.

He turned his head, and winked, “Good luck wifey!”

“YAH!”

*Oh crap, I’m all alone now…hey that food looks really good~*

Sadly, before you even got to touch the food, someone called you from behind.

“HI!”

You turned around,

“You’re L oppa’s wife?” A girl asked you. She smiled.

*Well…he did say I shouldn’t talk...but she looks nice~ ehh, can’t be that bad.*

You nodded slowly.

The girl looked you up and down.

“Did he lower his standards?” She spat out.

“His soul mate.” She said matter-of-factly.

“Ahh…why is he marrying me then?” You cocked your head.

She widened her eyes, “OBVIOSULY because you forced him to!”

“Yeah, THAT’S IT.”

“Did your mother ever teach you manners?” She asked smugly.

She smirked, “Hmm, figures. What do your parents do anyways?”

I shrugged. “How should I know?”

“My parents are gone.”

She narrowed her eyes at you.

“Well, MY PARENTS, own the biggest hotel chain in ALL of South Korea.” She bragged.

She looked at you suspiciously, “What?”

“If it looks like I give a damn, please tell me. I don’t want to give off the wrong impression.” You smiled sweetly.

“Where were you even raised?!”
“The streets.”

She gasped. “YOUR, YOUR…POOR?!”

“What did you do to him?!” She demanded.

“Jealousy is a terrible disease….Get well soon!”

“NO ONE talks to Lee Mi Young like that! I hope you go to hell."

You left her there looking shocked.

You stopped by a table to pick up a drink of water when you heard a voice behind you.

You turned around, only to see that Mi Young girl again.

You hastily turned around only to crash into…yes…a maid carrying drinks.

You brushed off your dress, amazing…nothing spilled on it…

Then, you realized that everyone's eyes were on you.

“Hehehe, I’m such a CLUTZ sometimes! Go one with your eating…please!”

Everyone reluctantly turned their heads.

You turned.

*Ughh she came back*

“You need to stay away from my oppa.” She hissed.

“And why would she do that?”

“OPPA! Thank gosh! That girl…she threatened me oppa!” Mi Young threw herself onto L.

You dropped your jaw, *Threatened my … *

He roughly pushed her away.

“O-pppp-a…what got into you? What did she do to you? Why on earth would you choose a filthy poor girl over me?!”

He glared at her, then went up to you, and held you close.

“THIS, is my wife, and if you have a problem with that, then you can take it up with me.”

He gave Mi Young an icy glare,

Then you heard clapping from behind.

“I never knew you could stand up for anyone besides yourself!”

You turned around to face 6 guys.

“Who are they?” You asked L.

He sighed, “This is...Infinite.”

All of them broke into huge grins.
