*My poor feet T.T I’m never wearing heels again.*

As you walked out of the bathroom, you turned around to see L, with a hair dryer in his hand.

He plugged the hair dryer in and patted on the bed.

"What?"

"Sit."

You narrowed your eyes and took a seat next to him.

He the blow-dryer and started to dry your hair.

*o_O What got into him?*

"What's with you?"

"What?"

"Your being…helpful."

"And...?"

"You’re creepin me out."

He smiled.

“I just wanted to apologize for Mi young”

“Why? It’s not your fault.”

“I know, but I still put you through that dinner. You shouldn’t take what she said to heart.”

“I’ve heard worse.”

He looked at you concerned, “People have said worse to you?”

You shrugged, “I’m used to it.”

You noticed that there was a breeze flowing by, “That’s weird…”

“What is?”

“Do you feel that?”

“Must be from the balcony.”

“Eh?”

He looked at you funny, “You’ve never noticed?”

You looked around the gigantic room to see an opened door, the curtains were flowing.

*I gotta pay more attention to details…*

"I heard there was gonna be a meteor shower tonight."

L turned off the hair dryer and walked to the opened door, he took a seat on the balcony. You sat next to him.

“It’s really pretty out here…” You murmured.

The sky was filled with millions, billions, or maybe even trillions of blinking stars.

“Do you hate me?”

You looked at him with a surprised expression, “Hate is just a special type of love that we give to people who . So, in a weird and twisted way, I actually love you.”

L laughed.

“You should do that more often.”

“What?”

“Laugh.”

“You should too.”

You smiled.

 “Can I ask you something?”

“Sure.”

“Why did you choose me to be your wife?”

“Just because.”

“That’s not an answer.” You mumbled.

“I just had a really good feeling about you.”

“That’s it? A feeling? That’s why you choose me?”

“Yup. Why?”

“I don’t know. I was just hoping for somethin deeper…”

He grinned.

“I used to love going to that river.”

“Used to?”

“Before my parents’ deaths.”

You looked at him sympathetically.

“When I saw you there…I just…I don’t know how to describe it.”

“Love at first sight?”

He raised his eyebrows.

“Just wondering~”

“It felt like we were supposed to be together.”

*Why the hell is my heart beating faster? Ughh pleaseee don’t tell me it’s because of him T.T. stupid heart, SLOW DOWN!*

Before you could say anything, you saw the meteor shower pass from the corner of your eye.

You turned around, awed by the sight.

“It’s not fair is it…”

“What?”

“That live keeps on dumping people like us with all the pain.” You muttered.

“Everyone wants happiness, and no one wants pain, but you can’t have the rainbow without a little rain right?”

“I doubt my rainbow will ever come.” You mumbled.

“I’ll be your rainbow if you want.”

“You’ll be my rainbow?” You laughed softly.

“Yeah, I’ll make sure to make you happy.”

“Then, I’ll be your rainbow too.”

Now it was his turn to laugh.

No one’s POV

Though neither of them had made a wish, as they gazed at the falling “stars” streaking across the sky, they both had the same thought running through their heads.
