KH: wait, how did you know she’s his girlfriend?

RW: I overheard him and 은혁 형 (Eunhyuk hyung) then I saw her picture on his phone

KH: *sigh* I know they’re together, it was kinda my fault actually

RW: what do you mean?

KH: I was the one who asked 동해 형 (Donghae hyung) to meet her because I was busy

RW: but you still like her don’t you?

KH: I wish I didn’t

Earlier that day:

D: looks like your boyfriend’s here

C looked up from the ground and saw Donghae just sitting like a kid on the swings. He was burying his feet in the snow as he held on to the ropes tightly. D just nodded to her friend and went in the building. C walked up to Donghae and put her hands over his eyes. He smiled when he held on to her mittens. He knew who it was right away. She removed her hands from his eyes and he turned to look at her with an instant smile.

D went in their apartment and quietly started unpacking. She didn’t like to think about it but she was a bit jealous of C’s relationship with Donghae. Not that she liked Donghae, she was jealous that her friend found a good guy who will treat her right. Aiden has been a bit quiet lately so she didn’t know how to act.

While fixing her shoes, her phone suddenly rang and she instantly smiled when she saw Aiden’s name.

D: oh hey Aiden~ how are you?

Aiden: where were you?

She was surprised that he didn’t happily greet her and didn’t answer her question. He went directly to asking about where she was with a serious tone of voice. She suddenly remembered that she didn’t tell him about her short trip to Japan. She was too occupied with helping Kyuhyun that she forgot about her own relationship.

D: i…uh…I was in Japan

Aiden: I left you messages and you never answered any of them. I’m surprised you even picked up your phone now

D: sorry. I was busy with a lot of stuff…I hope you understand. I was helping a friend and---

Aiden: when are you going to remember that you’re not the only person in the world? Did you even think about me when you made this sudden trip?

D: why…why are you mad?

Aiden: I’m not mad. I just want you to think who’s more important to you. I know the friend you were helping wasn’t C because last I heard she was happily in a relationship with that singer

D: she is but---

Aiden: you know what? Forget it. You need to sort out your priorities and call me back when you do

He ended the call before she could say another word. She was stunned. This was the first time Aiden ever got mad and she was definitely scared. She liked him a lot and because she wanted to help her bias out, she forgot about the boy who was trying to get her.

She quietly went back to packing and C suddenly came in and told her that she was going out with Donghae.

Present time:

EH (Eunhyuk): how was your date?

He was lying on his bed when Donghae came in and lay down next to him. The younger one snuggled next to the older who didn’t really care because he was busy playing on his phone.

Donghae just smiled like a little boy. He was just happy that he couldn’t describe what he was feeling. He had a good time with C on their Christmas date and he just felt giddy.

EH: seems like you had a good time, what did you guys do?

DH: we just had dinner and sat in a park

EH: that’s it? I was thinking you had something all planned out

DH: a lot of places were closed. Besides, she said it didn’t have to be special

EH: when a girl says something, she means the opposite. You really need to date more

DH: says the man who dates our nation’s little sister and causes a scandal

EH: hey man. I thought we wouldn’t talk about 지은 (Jieun/IU) anymore

DH: 미안 (sorry)

EH: but what are you doing here now?

DH: what do you mean?

EH: we have back to back schedules starting tomorrow and you still have a few hours left tonight, why aren’t you still with her?

DH: I wanted to spend Christmas with you guys too

The older one hugged him and if a Eunhae shipper were in the same room, he or she might faint from all the bromance that was happening.

C: did you go out with Aiden today?

D was just quietly sitting on the couch, ignoring her friend. C could sense something was up and it looks like D didn’t want to talk about it so she just left D for a moment and went into the bedroom.

D just stared out the window and watched the snow fall. She couldn’t believe that she was too busy helping her bias that she ignored the boy who liked her. She wanted to call him but she was afraid that he’d just hang up on her. She was sad that she was alone on Christmas.

C was lying on her bed while playing around with her phone. She was just playing a game when she got a text from Hae. She immediately smiled when she read his text.

Donghae861015: are you still awake? ^^

C_89: 그럼 (of course)~

Donghae861015: what are you doing right now?

C_89: nothing, just lying here in bed. What about you?

Donghae861015: same…but not my bed ㅋㅋㅋ

C_89: oh…

Donghae861015: 은혁이 (Eunhyukkie)’s bed! ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

C_89: oh haha~ tell him hi for me^^

Donghae861015: he says hi back~ we still have some time left in Christmas

C_89: yeah like 3 hours

Donghae861015: do you want to go out for some coffee? ^^

C_89: 지금 (now)? …sure^^

Donghae861015: I’ll pick you up in 20~

C: 동해 오빠 (Donghae oppa) and I are going to get some coffee, do you wanna come?

D still ignored her friend and focused on looking at nothing out the window. C didn’t know what to do or what was happening because the younger one didn’t say a thing and it looked like she wanted to be alone.

C: so…I won’t be out too late, call me if you need anything

D remained in the same position as C left the building.

DH (Donghae): everything alright?

C: yeah, it’s just…my friend, she seems sad and she ignored me since I got back

DH: maybe she has a problem

“Well d-uh! *sigh* this 5 year old”

C: I want to help her but I can’t since I have no idea what the problem is

DH: maybe she just needs time to herself. Some people are just like that. They’d rather keep quiet about things

C: I guess you’re right

“From a 5 year old to a wise adult in 10 seconds”

DH: I’m going to be busy starting tomorrow

C: 가요 대전 (Gayo Daejeon) and SJ-M comeback?

DH: sometimes I forget you’re a fan~
